Attention UPS Customers! Rarely do I take time to review a business unless it's exceptional, or in this case a complete dumpster fire. A World Class team of imbeciles have recently been installed at this location, after many years of decent service. What's really amazing is that each employee seems to be dumber than the next, yet they come off as Rhodes Scholars next to the manager (what's his name - Jorge?). Sure, need to drop off an Amazon package? Go for it. Beyond that, you're probably better off wrapping your item in toilet paper and sending it by helium balloon. They close at 3:30 online and this employee walked out at 3:14 and closed the store. I worked all day and this was my only time to ship an important package. If that isn't your hours maybe update that so you don't ruin peoples day and affect their incomes. I make money from these things. I've been coming to this UPS Store for years and find the location very easy to use for Amazon returns. The layout is straightforward and easy to navigate, making quick trips even quicker. The staff are pros--they clearly know what they're doing and handle requests efficiently. Plus the convenient location with free parking available is a huge plus when dropping off packages. I feel good about using this family-run local business that get's the job done right. Tip: To avoid waiting in line, go during weekend hours when the store is less crowded. read more

I don't understand all of the negative reviews. Treat people with respect and you will be treated with respect. Period. I have had a mailbox at this location for going on 15 years. It has pretty much been the same staff for years at a time. Ruben has been there since as far as I can remember. I go in there all the time to check my mailbox and send back Amazon returns etc. Staff is always nice and helpful to me. I have had negative experiences at other UPS store locations - The South Lamar store comes to mine as a particularly heinous experience. This store is very different. Yes they do get busy and if you get huffy with the staff they will give it back. (And you will also get dirty looks from the other customers in line, you entitled a-hole LOL) Please let's all try to be kinder to each other. Your errands and mail to do's are important but you will get treated in kind the way you treat the staff here. Sometimes they have bad days - like we all do - I know it's not about me and don't take it personally. It's a thankless job packing boxes all day! My experience was different from most reviewers, and if you look at my review histogram, you'll see that I don't hesitate to leave negative reviews when it's warranted. SUMMARY: Clerk was polite and helpful to me, and to other customers that I saw/heard him serve. DETAILS: I had an Amazon return and showed the QR code, the clerk politely pointed out that under the code it says "Customer Packaged". I've done lots of Amazon returns where no box was necessary, so, thinking I must have chosen the wrong option, I stepped out of line to cancel the return and start a new one on the Amazon app. Sure enough, there was no option for "no box". While I fiddling with the app, someone called and asked if the store did, I think, passport photos. The first words out of the clerk's mouth were "I'm sorry...". Got back in line and asked if he could just put the label on the product package, which was itself a thin box. He agreed. On Yelp we review businesses, but some customers should also get bad reviews. When I was there, a lady stormed out yelling something about "Nobody goes to Whole Foods to do Amazon returns! No one would go to Whole Foods for that!" Well, I've done it, many times, and when I go, they have a mountain of returns from other customers. read more

This UPS store is the absolute worst. It is slow and always a mess. The manager Ruben is moody and rude. His staff are equally miserable. When I took my neurodivergent daughter in to have some legal documents notarized, Ruben proceeded to criticize her signature for all to hear. Ruben, so yes I did go to another store BUT the point is you are not allowed to make fun of, or mock, your customers. regardless if they are right or wrong. the UPS store is the UPS store and it shouldn't matter which one I went to. the notary clerk filled out my DL dates wrong, which is not my fault, and it would have been nothing for you to waive the $10 instead of making fun of and berating a customer. Everyone who knows me will say I'm polite and easy going. Here goes! The fat man in this UPS Store Tuesday at 9:35a should not be interacting with customers. I was attempting to return an Amazon package with a damaged item. This guy makes a smart ass'd comment about the condition of the package the item was shipped in to me. The package was placed outside upon deliver and was rained on for several hours. Not his fault, nor mine. I told him how this happened like Walter Cronkite would say. No attitude, just the facts. The fat man says he's just a worker and no need for me to have an attitude with him. I tell him all I'm saying is how the package got in this condition. He says it will be $40 to repack the item. I took the same package to a different UPS store a few minutes away and no problem shipping the item back to Amazon. read more

I had the worst customer service experience at this UPS store today. The clerk a big guy at the desk was very rude and unprofessional. I was returning a pre-paid box and needed a piece of tape. He said it cost $3 and I didn't have any cash/credit cards with me to pay. He was extremely rude and went on and on. The last time I returned a box, the other UPS store had no problem puting a piece a tape on the box. I will never shop at this store again. **** NEW ownership NEW Management NEW Store**** Was in the area at a Dr.s appt and needed to return some amazon purchases. Was SHOCKED to walk in and see a beautiful new store front and a smiling face. Chris helped me with items as there were no other customers to help ( I am usually a do it yourself person). I was the only customer in the store so busy is no excuse. Amazons return code read that UPS will pack and ship my return. Jarod said I would have to pay for a box. So of course I left. Went straight to the UPS 360. 360 said they honor what ever the Amazon return code says. The new UPS store just up the road at 360 is amazing! They are friendly and they care. He left for a meeting and didn't bother to notify us that he would not be there for the appointment. Worst ups store I've been to. Systems are always down, there's one person working and a line out the door at any given time, they make you pay for an inch of tape. Other ups stores will offer to tape the box for you. But not this store! They offer to make you buy a $7 roll of tape :) do better and get new management. I don't know what is going on with this location - the surly, fat guy that sits on his stool all day is clearly moving slowly just to p1ss everyone off. He is beyond rude and tries to make everyone's visit the worst possible. Then, if you just drop something off (the line is always 8-12 people deep and he's the only one barely working), your package may or not get scanned in on time to make the next day delivery. Recently, I brought in a package (already labeled) and I handed it TO HIM and it wasn't scanned in for 2 more hours so it did not make if for next day, even though I had paid for next day. Sure, he will say that he is sick of dealing with all the Amazon returns but THEY GET PAID FOR EACH AND EVERY RETURN! Never again. read more

The employees are rude; they never say hi/hello, they don't make eye contact, they never say please/thank you and worst of all, they're short with customers. I never write reviews, but I will NEVER go back to this location. The guy that is always working there is incredibly rude, very dismissive, and extremely unhelpful. I was in there today and he ignored me for 10 minutes while I just stood there patiently while he did busy work, then when he finally had time to help me, basically treated me like an huge idiot for not having an extra box for an amazon return. When I asked him why he was being so rude and unhelpful, and if maybe I should come back when someone else is working, he said "I know you're pregnant and that's why you're upset". Then continued to just repeat, "sorry you are pregnant" as I grabbed my boxes and walked out. If you like being belittled, gaslit, and treated poorly by sales associates, then this is the location for you. I will be going to the William Cannon location from now on. Honestly I'm not really a person to leave negative reviews bc as someone who has worked in customer service I try to be understanding. I walked into the empty store and had to wait for 5 minutes while the guy was on the phone. It was on speaker so I heard everything and could tell it wasn't an emergency phone call. Then when I tried to return my Amazon package (where I didn't need any box or label just the QR code) he told me I needed to buy a box to return it. I tried to explain Amazon said I didn't need to but honestly the most frustrating part was that he was talking down to me like I was stupid. He kept assuming things like he knew everything and wouldn't listen when I tried to explain. I wasn't going to PAY for a huge box when I was literally trying to RETURN something. So not only did he waste my time by making me wait for him to end his phone call when I was the only one in the store, he was extremely rude and not helpful at all. The big old man at the front desk was too lazy to pack our boxes. He told us to just go home 3 seconds after arriving because the labels that Amazon sent us were wrong (total bs). He just didn't want to do it because the boxes were big. He didn't want to help at all and I even talked to Amazon while there and they sent us additional labels to help. He also told me to use common sense that they wouldn't be able to ship it when Amazon instructed us to make return through ups. The lazy worker at the desk wanted to charge me $3.00 for a piece of tape. He was rude abd dismissive. He works EXTREMELY slow with each customer on purpose to ward off other waiting in the line. Rudest front desk guy named Jae. He was super unhelpful and downright dismissive and rude. Was trying to do an amazon return drop off and he wouldn't accept it because he said amazon required it to be packaged. That is not true. Amazon does not require it to be packaged label or QR code return. I had my own label printed out. The other UPS stores don't require packaging following along with Amazon's policies. I would have paid the $1.50 for packaging but the guy's attitude was so sucky and disgusting I ended up walking out. He's a rude dismissive JERK!!!! Worst experience at a business. Ever. Horrible customer service (Ruben). Multiple negative experiences, but today was the worst (and last). If you're in need of UPS services, go across the street to the Mail Center USA. Took a large, double walled, prepaid box for drop off. Was called before leaving the parking lot and told my box would not be shipped because it contained alcohol. I assured Ruben it did not contain alcohol, but two vintage speakers instead. After returning to the store, I was told it was against Federal law to ship alcohol. I again told him the box did not contain alcohol. He then said that he was going to open the box and confiscate and destroy the liquor inside immediately. I welcomed him to open the box as long as it was repacked and sealed once he confirmed that there was no liquor inside, only two speakers as I've said all along. He then opened the box and discovered two speaker boxes surrounded by recycled wine packing and NO ALCOHOL. After confirming that I was being truthful, instead of apologizing and resealing the box, he said that customers lie to him all the time regarding contents. Obviously insulted, I asked if he thought it was fair to assume I was lying simply because someone else did? I was then told that he couldn't ship the box because it was obviously a wine box, and that I would have to repackage the speakers before he could ship. He refused to process my prepaid shipment even though he confirmed it did not contain alcohol. I took the package across the street to Mail Center USA and was told there was no issue shipping the package. When I told them of my experience with Ruben, they laughed and said that if the package doesn't contain alcohol, it's just a double walled box. UPS Store Corporate agreed. When I told them of my experience with Ruben, I was asked if he apologized after opening the shipment and finding out it was not alcohol. Not only was there no apology, he attempted to justify his distrust and rudeness by blaming it on prior customer experiences. I honestly have no idea how a business that treats customers this way still has any. Shipped a package here from an online retailer. Owner was hostile and demanded to know "why I shipped to him." Demanded I pay a $10 "holding fee." UPS customer service was no help, they said franchise owners can do whatever they want. Bottom line, terrible customer service, rude, no interpersonal skills, and no support or backup from UPS corporate who basically just said "not our problem." read more
