There wasn't caving, damage, or distress done to the box. The box made it, mind you with Jeep parts, to its location without incident. Perhaps they've changed staff but every time I've been here I've gotten great service. It's close to my house, easy to get to, easy to find. If you're coming from I35 turning onto wells branch, this is on the left hand side. You can either turn at the light or at the turn in lane right at the beginning of the shopping plaza. Funny, I drive 1/2 an hour to go to this UPS store, because here I'm treated with great customer service, unlike the UPS store closer to my house. When I read the other reviews here, I feel like I'm reading about the other UPS stores that I don't like. Mike, the owner, is knowledgeable, competent and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. I have confidence when I go to this store that my packages will be handled correctly. To the other reviewer that said Mike does not treat women with respect, I have had a different experience. I am a woman, and I feel that I am treated like a valued customer whenever Mike is behind the counter. Again, I cannot say that for the shipping-store options near my home, and being treated like a valued customer is the reason I will drive the 30 minutes to ship items from the Wells Branch UPS Store. read more

Completely disgusted by the owner, the older gentleman that lied to me multiple times yesterday. I had three small boxes, all having audio CD's that I was shipping. I told him I wanted to ship via USPS Media Mail. He immediately tells me you cannot ship audio CD's via Media Mail. I asked, since, when, I had been shipping that way for at least 15 years. He said it was never possible, only printed materials like magazines. We argued, I left and took to the post office in Pflugerville and shipped via media. From USPS website: "What can you send using Media Mail? Books (at least eight pages) Printed music and test materials *****Video and sound recordings***** Printed educational charts Medical loose-leaf pages and binders Computer-readable media" I will never pay them to ship anything again. I might drop off something there which is prepaid but I will never ever pay them for anything again. read more

Lady that works there is really nice, I like coming here to fax paperwork. Wish it was a little cheaper, but no worries. There is never a line which is a huge plus. Always have good parking, I never have to look for a spot! They get you in and out. What more can you ask for! read more

Mike at this UPS location is so nice. I came in with a floating desk that I needed to return and I couldn't figure out how to get it back in the box. He mentioned that there is a charge if they need to pack up the package themselves. So he helped me figure out how to put the box back in the package so that I didn't have to get charged. I've always had great experiences at this location. The staff is very courteous and professional. Today I visited twice - once with about 6 boxes for Christmas that I needed to ship. This has to be the rudest place I have ever been to! "Mike",his nametag says,is rude,it seems especially to women and maybe the most bad tempered person I have ever met. He was pleasant to a man that came in,but was indifferent to another woman that came in,and downright rude to me. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! I would rather give them a ZERO star rating than even one. The lack-luster customer service provided by the employee working there, blew my mind. I was trying to mail back a $200 tennis racquet, which needed to be taped up on the end. There were other customers in the store, and since the employee was busy, I did not feel comfortable just leaving it there. He asked me to leave it on the counter, then suggested I buy the tape myself if I didn't want to leave it. I didn't mind waiting, but instead he was a total jerk and rude to me in front of the other customers. I took my item and left the store letting him know I would find another location. This place needs a lesson in customer service, and how to be polite. Maybe if they lose tons of business that area of improvement will be addressed. read more

The manager had me put together the sticker for one of my boxes while he did the other and I made a mistake while peeling the paper off the sticker. He said to me "how do you expect this to stick if you do it that way" I apologize and told him I've never had to do that before and he replies "Well, sorry to say this but you should know this won't stick"... excuse me? That was just rude. I obviously wasn't sure how to do it and no need for him to be rude. It is his job to assist me in the process and not to make me feel stupid. Granted, the manager is a complete ass, but the regular counter girl was extremely helpful and we enjoyed our month with her. We were stuck living in a hotel for a month while our house was being finished so we used this UPS store location to receive our US Mail and packages. I walked into the store pretty annoyed. I was trying to complete a crazy complex passport renewal application. It not only had endless paperwork (which needed to be surgically organized) but also required a notary. I was initially headed to the UPS store at the intersection of I35/I45 toll road. Their notary had decided to take off 15 minutes before close. That is how I ended up at this Well Branch location. Despite walking in a bit frazzled with all my paperwork and just a bit before close, Mike and Kelly pleasantly greeted me. They were patient and listened to all my requests. Paperwork needed to be clipped a certain way. Passport photos needed to be glued. I needed to include a return package (to receive my renewed passport back). Mike took care of the notary requirements. He further suggested the most economic and reliable way to send/receive this fairly sensitive documentation (no passport means no international travel, jeopardizing several international trips I had planned for the year). In a nutshell, a very pleasant and smooth experience! Mike and Kelly were super friendly and helpful! And.. I just got my renewed passport! I would look no further than this store for any and all shipping needs if you live nearby. read more

So this was my first time using this UPS Store and I will definitely be back. I had my AT&T equipment that I needed to return and I had all of my stuff in a HEB bag. As soon as I walked in both Mike and Monica (they said their names and were wearing name tags) both said AT&T without knowing what I had in my bag. I'm impressed. I had to ship a sound system and walked into the store without any of it packed. I chose to forgo the guaranteed pack and ship, and attempt to pack the system myself. The employee (his cash register said his name was Mike?) took pity on my and helped me pack the whole system (I mainly supervised). He was polite and friendly the whole time, even though I had gone against his recommendation and he ended up having to save me from myself. I would definitely recommend using this UPS Store. I use this UPS Store because it's the closest one to my job. Mike has always been extremely helpful and courteous. He'll offer alternatives that may help save me a few bucks. He does get busy at times (especially first thing in the morning when they open), but he's always aware of the situation and makes sure you've been acknowledged. Great store! read more

I have read the 2 reviews customers wrote. The first on was asked to pay for packing service and was not happy because she had to pay and so Mike the owner is rude, if she got the service free then Mike was a sweet person. You decide how the owner is rude. The second customer was in a hurry as he cam from car max on his lunch break and did not have a label, we provide service and service cost like every where else. Since he was in a hurry and we had packages to put in our system and we requested him to leave the package and would tape it once we were done. I am in business for 20 years, seen that customers who do not get free stuff bad mouth the businesses. You can always come to our store and see the excellent service we provide. I had the same experience as the first reviewer. I was returning a package to a company with a very specific return procedure and told the owner I didn't mind waiting for him to finish with a customer, as I had a few questions. He kept saying, "Just leave the package on the floor with the label on it." I wasn't in a hurry, but he apparently was. When the first customer left, he took my package and said to me, "If you had just done what I said, I could get back to the rest of my work. Look at all these boxes I still need to send! You didn't listen." I was completely shocked. Where was his professionalism or the Austin friendliness I had come to know? Not from this man. "No," I said, "You didn't listen to ME." If you want to waste your time, then this is the place for you. We've sacrificed time and money for these incompetent people who know nothing concerning their business. We've had bad packages shipped and they refuse to take responsibility. Furthermore, they ask if you want credit or debit and they won't allow you to take credit. Why give the option if it's not allowed? These people are downright horrible. We tried to give these people a second shot when they did not even deserve it. Still, they cannot live up to expectations. USPS is way better than the UPS. read more

iShipped an Affidavit last Saturday with a guaranteed delivery date of Wednesday. I requested Tuesday delivery, but unfortunately it was not possible - but I understood is not the fault of The UPS store. I had rearranged a meeting accordingly to Thursday to make sure the affidavit is received the previous day. I was clearly told and confirmed it is guaranteed, I paid 134.84 for DHL International Priority Express. The Affidavit arrived on Thursday only, so visited Mike to get a refund. When I arrived he said without checking anything that my shipment was not guaranteed, than he called DHL and they confirmed it is guaranteed and Mike needs to submit a claim, so I will get my refund, so I left the store with a guarantee again, that I will get the refund. 30 minutes later he called me that he rechecked and I will not get my refund, not because it is not guaranteed, but because of weather in Cincinnati. I checked DHL tracking, and it is clear there was not a delay in Cincinnati. Beware Buyer and avoid this store. read more
