I went in here just for a standard printing service to get one label printed out. It was very busy at the time with two staff. They were both helping other customers get things notarized. I waited patiently while this was happening. I called ahead before to send my label via email to their store Email to save time. When it was my turn, I let the gentleman know that I had a label to print out. He told me that it would cost $3.28. I said that was fine, except the version he brought me was cut off on the left side. He attempted it one more time and brought it to me again, this time worse than the first. He went back to do it a third time and it was exactly the same. I asked if I would still have to pay full price for a label that was cut off and he said yes. I offered to resend the label if it would be helpful in a different way, and he said he'd have to charge me for the other copies. I declined and just bought the first version that was partially cut off and ended up filling in the cut off portion with a pen in my car before attaching the label. I feel the store might need a little more training on how to use the computers and printers. If this is an office store, I can't be the first person who has sent a label to be printed out. read more

As an update. It is now over a month later and the store still never called back as the manager promised to do. Thus, I am still missing many pages of critical documents that had original signatures. This is extremely upsetting. read more

If I could rate zero stars I absolutely would. An absolute raging jackwad works at the front and was taking an attitude with quite literally every customer she came in contact with. A foreign customer was in front of me and clearly had trouble communicating but was made to feel so small and talked down to in every which way. When it was my turn, she continuously made unnecessary and inappropriate comments the entire time. Fortunately, the sweet older woman working with her stepped in and took over because I was NOT the one to be messed with. Thank you to the other woman for assisting me because I was ready for a pay per view match to throw down if I had to. Never returning and I hope that sweet woman had the best day. Other girl should hit the streets and look for a more fitting job, perhaps not in customer service. read more

Throughout the few years I've been going here to print out a label and or have my packages delivered, this UPS store has had different management, but always a handful of helpful employees. Maybe it was just recently things have taken a different direction. A couple weeks ago I happened to stop by to have a return label printed and my small package shipped. $3 to use a computer, plus .25 per page. One of the two employees assisted me, rings me up, only to remind her she forgot to print out the 2nd page of the return label. Instead of apologizing for forgetting to print out page 2 of 2, she charges me .28 to print the 2nd page. I pointed out that it wasn't my fault she wasn't paying attention and as a courtesy, should've just printed out the 2nd page for free. Instead of arguing or asking for her manager bc at this point her attitude was already getting worse by the minute, I just bear with her poor customer service as it's near closing (and this is probably this poor kid's part time job or something). Per receipt, it says her name is Michaela. I hope she gets remedial training soon with customer service and or I hope she's not there next time I need services from this store. read more

Customer service is a dying art these days. My experience at this store reinforced that fact, the lady at the counter was so impatient and clearly should not hold a customer- facing job. Not every person understands shipping, packaging, or the "rules" of returns. A little bit of kindness goes a long way, but she was plum out of it. No matter how busy, or how many questions ... IT'S YOUR JOB and usually a customer is treated with respect. Luckily a young man showed up and helped me get my return completed. I walked in to take passport pictures. Young man warmly greeted me and asked how he could help and I explained to him what I needed. He took me back to the picture wall and got it done. The young man that wears glasses is probably the rudest person I know. Has no sense of urgency and doesn't have consideration. I was waiting in line to return an Amazon item which I mentioned to him and would take 5 seconds, but he continued to help someone with getting something notarized. I don't mind waiting in line but I had my 2 month old baby with me. Finally after 10 min of waiting I said something and he helped. Maybe because it was the baby crying. He scanned my item in 5 seconds and I left. In customer service there has to be some empathy. Especially when you clearly see people in need of help. read more

I went in to return a laptop and monitor to my previous employer. They wanted to charge big bucks for packaging. When I asked about returning the laptop alone, they wanted to charge $35 for the box and my previous company has an account with them, so should be included and not trying to shake me down. The lady couldn't find the account in their system and I think she mistyped it. I left unable to ship and my previous employer was not happy either. I talked to my contact from previous employer and they are suggesting to resolve this by going to another UPS Store location because this is the only store in the Bay Area they've had an issue with. If it's anything other than dropping off a box with a pre-printed label, save yourself a lot of frustration and go to any other UPS Store but here. read more

Sad to say I dropped off a boxed up trade in iphone here and I was much too trusting. Declined a receipt and lo and behold Apple never received my mailed back phone so I'm out the $100 trade in value. Lesson learned. Have otherwise had great experiences here but the young man who took my return either pocketed it or it was lost in transit. Don't just drop off your prepaid labeled returns without getting a receipt at this location, or sadly I guess anywhere. This would not deter me from going here again but with the caveat above. read more

Some days things are all sunshine, lollipops, and kitten kisses while other days I can't help but think I wasn't born with enough middle fingers. The latter is how the OTHER UPS store in Belmont makes me feel on a semi-regular basis. Luckily, this UPS store has their ish together and saved me from I -don't-have-a-printer-and-I-need-something-printed-like-yesterday hell. I like that the UPS store allows you to upload docs to be printed and picked up in their stores, but I don't love how inept some of their stores are about this service or how sometimes the earliest print and pick up option is 24-hours later. i gave this location a call ans spoke with Leslie, who was lovely and verified that I could just email over my doc and they'd print it for me within the hour. Easy peasy and even better was that Leslie emailed me right back once she received my document and let me know that it was printed about 4 minutes after I'd initially sent my request- huzzah! Picking up my doc and paying was a breeze as well, with the only negative here being that they're kind of only open during bankers hours, so late night printing and pick up is out of the question. read more

Shady shady shady. If you feel like being dicked around by shady mo-fo's, check this place out. I have been here twice. Here are my two experiences. 1. I came to mail a vintage flask that I sold on Ebay. The manager asked me what I was selling, mentioned he had been looking for a similar item for his daughter, and then quoted me a ridiculous price to mail the item. When I said I was shocked at the price, he began insisting that since it was so expensive to mail to my buyer, I should sell it to him. Oh - and by the way, since it contained alcohol, no one else would mail it for me, so I better just sell it to him. When I said no, he got rude and started saying how it was a worthless item anyway, lowered his offer price, and was fairly aggressive about getting me to sell to him. I finally just left, and figured out my own way to get the item where it needed to go. 2. I back in yesterday to mail a 3lb package to France, and a different guy said it would cost $119.00. When I said I wanted the cheapest price, he offered me $70 through USPS. I asked why it was so expensive (as I was mailing much heavier packages from France to the US for 20 euros) and he said that it was the same to mail both ways, and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. I asked if I would get a better price at USPS, and I was told that AT MOST I would save $2-3 at USPS, and I should just pay him now. Thankfully, I was skeptical and just went to USPS, where I was quoted $27 to mail to France. I must really look like an idiot or something because these D-Bags pull something every time I go in. I have never experienced horrible customer service like this in my life! Manager REFUSED to help after her non-trained employee messed up an international shipment to Brazil. We paid almost $400 for the shipping plus many calls to the UPS facility in Brazil, and we are still trying to retrieve the package. I tried 3 times to ship a package from this location m. I chose next day air so that it would arrive by 10:30am. The destination was SF. They messed up the delivery day every single time. My package was either routed to Oakland or San Jose, then stuck at the UPS facility for 3 - 5 days. Then probably someone who works there found my package and rerouted to the correct place. I've been having some problem with this store. My grandma went to get her finger prints done and sent out but one of their employees wrote down the wrong social security number. So I called and told them what happened and this very nice gentleman told me he can resend her prints with the right numbers, but he still wrote it wrong. After 3 weeks of her fingerprint not going through, I called and an Indian lady answered. I explained what happed, at this point I'm completely done with this store, and she tried to blame it on my grandmother and the person that made her paperwork for the finger prints. I told her that it's was the employees that wrote it down and 2 of them got it wrong. This is when I noticed that she was the only one in the store because she was talking to me and then to another customer that wanted to pay his AT&T bill. I gave her again the RIGHT social and asked her to repeat it, where, with an attitude, she repeated back and told me she would send it again. I will call this store again if these finger prints won't go through. read more

Long story short - the guy charged me almost $7.00 for a really small sheet of crappy gift wrap paper (I was in a rush, so I didn't realize it until it was too late).
