Avoid the lady here at noon time, unlike the friendly younger gentlemen that usually staff this place and offer to even seal up your packages for free, lady was short tempered and try to charge you for tape. read more

A few days ago I brought in a couple of packages into the store. A store associate named Jerry I believe was very helpful! he was trying to get the right size of my boxes to help me save a couple of bucks for me. The store manager is not very friendly indeed rude to their employees, the store associate offered to help me packed my boxes that he gave me, suddenly his store manager was unhappy with the him helping to me to tape and pack the boxes. read more

Great to find this place. Results came back and I am good to go. I am So angry I can barely speak. I went into this UPS store on old county road in Belmont and I am a very friendly person. When I approached Leah for finger prints she barely looked at me and monotonously almost hostile said to fill out the form. She was so rude and didnt even look me in the eye. She was very rude to me not looking at me and had a very almost mean attitude. While in there with her hostilely fingerprinting me I thought to myself " maybe she is just having a hard day or just isn't a friendly person. " but then when the ups driver came in she was very friendly her whole demeaned changed. When Going back to me her voice then went very monotonous and very rude AGAIN! While I was paying she never looked me in the eye. I have to finger print for several agencies and will never go back there again. Keep in mind this is not the UPS hub, this is the UPS Store. My acquaintance dropped off my transmission for freight shipment to S.California. I found out on 1 week after it shipped that it still hadn't arrived at the recipient's place of business. Of course, I phoned and stopped by in person to find out what has happened. This is what I walked away from... 1) frustration, frustration, frustration due to: A) the clerk that was manning the counter could not reach the UPS freight company because she does not have any contact information B) another UPS store worker that sent me a freight tracking number never called nor texted me back...even after I asked about tracking information. C) the owner never called her back while I was waiting at the counter D) the floors are dusty and there was electric drills and other construction equipment strewn about the area. E) 30 hours later, still no call or message back. F) I paid 460.00 to get this item shipped and should have never used them in the first place. I will update this review depending on the outcome of finding my shipment. read more

I came by this UPS for many years. The manager is great. He is very friendly with speedy service. This time I was served by a cashier ISHITA. She need to learn about manner. She need to learn to say please and thank you. I thought everybody learned that when they were young from their parents. I presume UPS need to teach her about manner. I brought in my DSL equipment to return and I received 4 words from the cashier for the whole transaction. The cashier is ISHITA. Me : I understand this is the place to return my equipment. ISHITA: AT&T (1st word) Me: Yes, and gave her my AT&T paper statement ISHITA: Take it out. (Last 4 word) Me: I took out the equipment from the bag. ISHITA: She finished her data entry and gave me the receipt. I expect the bare basic conversation: 1. Please take the equipment out from your bag. 2. All done. Here is the receipt with your tracking number. Thanks! I hope to expect ( I may be asking a lot here) Hi, Good Afternoon. I am ISHITA. How can I help you? Can you take the equipment out from your bag? Thanks! I am done with your transaction. Here is the receipt with the tracking number. The recipient should receive the package in 2 days. I would give negative stars if I could. Zero customer support and service. Both management and store associates provided incompetent and inept responses to the issue they created. This store elected to return a package to sender after holding it for only one day. No apology and no help was provided to recover or divert the package to correct for the mistake, but there was certainly plenty of denial and excuses. Store associates denied there was a package delivered there to begin with (they could not even find it in the system), and once it was finally determined they had received the package and elected to return it to sender after holding it for one day, they stated their manager did it, so it is not their fault (who cares?). I got the manager on the phone and he just wanted to argue and claimed no responsibility. I got the same runaround when I called UPS directly, but they at least confirmed that the store was at fault. So, the summary is don't expect customer service at any level at this joint, but do expect them to remain vigilant in maintaining their false reality of denial. I doubt anyone from the store is reading this review, but if you are, I suggest a little more empathy and focus on customer satisfaction. read more

Tried to charge me $1 for an 8" strip of packing tape to seal the top of my box. Went to the much friendlier location at 63 Bovet Rd in San Mateo instead, where they happily spent the 5 seconds needed to seal my box without hesitation. read more

Super UPS Store with attentive capable help. Use this location for packaging, packing, and shipping. The have boxes of ALL sizes, plenty of packing and tape. Do't fogey to insure it if it's valuable. It's good to find good customer service; I found it here. read more

When I walked in the girl at the desk who helped was pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately she put in the wrong delivery address for my package and it was never delivered on time. I can look past that. When I called to track the package and discuss what happened and the guy who answered the phone was rude and Un helpful. Considering the location made a mistake and I was simply calling to see where my package was, there was no reason to treat a customer as if they are an inconvenience. This store is somewhat hidden in the area but it's right next to a Wendy's by Ralston Ave and close to the Caltrain station. Great, speedy service and the staff was efficient in handling my shipping needs. No fuss, in and out in minutes. Very neighrborly feel as the space looked like a lil house with a staircase to the upper deck storage area. I didn't venture upstairs but it reminded me of a family home-feel location. read more

Had a problem with the post office down the street (gross incompetence and apathy) and came here to get some passport photos. For the next twenty minutes I watched the manager juggle people's requests in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner. He laminated some certificates and a thousand other things while I was there. I was super impressed. He helped me with my passport renewal and he, unlike the post office knew the regs; I was 100+% satisfied. Super nice guy. read more

Printing, copies, getting documents notarized, etc. Every time I've come in, the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. The service is good, I've never had to wait more than a minute or so to be helped, and the prices are good, too. read more

Julian is awesome. He is always eager to help you even when it's closing time, he does not brush you off at all. I was getting frustrated because we couldn't find my package, but he was calm, positive, and funny. Turns out I gave him the wrong name to look under, and even after 15 mins of looking everywhere in the damn store he never once blamed me. He even offered me a pretzel lol. The manager is super cool and works upstairs in the open attic. Every now and than he cracks a joke or says something helpful. I call him the God of UPS because you can't see him you just hear his voice. The 2 of them are the only reason I keep coming back to this location, they are awesome. needed a notary...called and asked how long he would be there. The reply was about another hour but I can stay if you need me too...I thought that was great customer service. Also I have shipped from this location before and the service is always fast...if you want to go to the post office and wait for twenty minutes to save a buck or two have at it. I will always prefer service over the "budget" . read more

The guys in here were super quick and friendly. I had to mail 6 boxes to different places and even though I didn't have them addressed already, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I would definitely go back here instead of waiting in line at the post office. They are also open longer hours and on the weekend for the holiday. read more

DON"T USE THIS STORE!!!! I wanted to ship something UPS Ground and they said that they did not offer it. Charged 3 day select at $50 from Belmont to Santa Rosa. When I called UPS to complain I was told that all of the stores should offer all the UPS services. I called the store directly and was told too bad. This store has gone way down hill, stopped by to mail packages on Saturday and only one clerk with eight people waiting to be helped. The clerk was finger printing someone and after 10 minutes of waiting and the fingerprinting was still going I left and decided to go back later....an hour or so later there were five folks inline with the still one clerk and after another 10 min wait with the same customer being helped I left and figured Monday would be better.....Stopped by today and guess what one clerk and a customer being finger printed with four others in line with a look of desperation on there faces....I decided to go to the post office. Not worth the hassle, not sure what happen here but the use to have more than one clerk and service was quick and effective! read more

The guys who work here are friendly, knowledgeable, and more importantly, will find ways to save you money. Dane just save me $30 in shipping fees on a return shipment by using a cool scoring tool to make my shipping box smaller, and therefore less than half as much to ship as it would've been at full size--awesome! I did not have to do much except drop off two packages I was returning to Amazon. I was a little early and arrived before 8AM, but I had to wait 10 minutes after 8 for them to open their doors, so I was disappointed. Sure, I had no where to go afterward, but if I had, I would have been irked! Let's hope this was just a one time occurrence! read more

Sent an iphone to my daughter Paris to arrive Thursday, Nov 12 via 3-day shipping - $$$. UPS staff did not advise of even the possibility that yet more $ might be required at time of delivery. Delivery attempt info online showed that 'the facility was closed,' which was not true. Had I been correctly informed that the reason for non delivery was not that the facility was closed, but that tariff $ was required, we would have been able to receive the package on Friday, Nov 13. But incorrect information was given. Then the bombing happened in Paris on the 13th. Phone had not been delivered so I was not able to communicate with my daughter. Calls to UPS in Belmont, UPS international, UPS customer service were all met with the same lack of concern. 'Too bad, so sad' was the general response. No effort was made by anyone to attempt to a: take responsibility for the incorrect or missing information or b: empathize with the intensity of the situation exacerbated by the undelivered phone or c: consider refunding the $$ wasted on 3-day delivery. Not cool, UPS. Will definitely be going elsewhere from now on. read more
