Even though I paid $25 for overnight shipping. As of last night it said my check would be here at 4 PM. I woke up today and it stated I would not be receiving my package until 5 p.m. I called The UPS Store and dealt with a very rude unhelpful worker after making a complaint on his customer service my time for delivery changed until the end of the day meaning they have made me sit here for 12 hours waiting on delivery changing their time from 4:00 to 5 and then to 7:30?? doing this on purpose, knowing it is a check for my rent, (because I told them), knowing I will be evicted... theyre anger at my complaint made them put my check for their last delivery ,purposefully. it is vindictive and it is morally wrong to get someone evicted because you got your feelings hurt because you recalled on your job it is their job for good customer service and I should not be punished for making a complaint as they have punished me. This place is close to me so it's very convenient. Also everyone who works there is wonderful except for this one woman. All of the workers there are very kind except for her. A few months ago I came in to ship a package and she yelled at me because of my lack of knowledge about shipping. I understand how someone not quite understanding the ins and outs of shipping can be quite frustrating, but I don't think that it was fair for her to yell at me. Every other time I'm there, I can hear this woman yelling on the phone with a costumer, it's super unpleasant. All of the other employees are SUPER helpful, but I would just avoid this woman if you come in with a question. read more

Probably my most unprofessional experience... ever. I'm fan of UPS stores, and have used them for years all over the country. When I went in to the Tremont location to send a couple small items. The clerk told me it would be $25... what? After several minutes of my struggling to explain to him that it wasn't possible, he realized his error and told me it was actually $6. Whatever, we all make mistakes. My tiny items took over THREE WEEKS to arrive (just to New York)! I was happy that they weren't lost, but thought I should report it to the manager. When I called to speak to him, I calmly explained the situation. He paused for about thirty seconds and said "okay well, yeah." I prompted with a "isn't that sort of unusual" and he replied with "I guess but it's not our problem." Needless to say I was fuming!! Even a cheesy "sorry to hear that but I can't tell you much more" would have satisfied me. It was as if he handed the phone to a customer to help me-- actually a customer would have probably been more professional. DISGUSTING customer service. read more

Monday morning, 4/13/15. Wow, how rude. The male attendant was so rude that the female attendant had to jump in from the embarrassment she must've been feeling on behalf of this asshole that was attending me. All I was doing was asking questions about the rate, and despite the fact that he answered incorrectly, he rolled his eyes at me and belittled me and acted as if was a huge bother. I stopped by to get something notarized and I found the one guy (Eric) working there to be extremely rude and disrespectful. I ended up signing one of my forms by accident (the rest were unsigned) and when I explained this to Eric, he made this smirk at me and said he couldn't notarize the documents (even if I signed the rest in front of him, on another piece of paper etc). At first I thought he was joking b/c of his smirk, but once I realized he was serious, I asked him what my options were. He then told me that I could cry or scream and that he still wouldn't notarize my documents b/c it was his job to see me sign all of them. He then told me that I could try my luck at some other notary public and to see if they would sign it (all the while implying he would do his job, but I should try to find someone else who would slack and not do their job as a notary public). No more pick ups then u get 1 star. It takes 20 people and 5 hours to explain the new policy. UPS trucks all over the place and no more pick ups that's good. Next time I'm using FEDEX. read more

The guys at UPS on Tremont were my knights in shining armour! Delta lost my enormous poster on one of several flights between here and New Zealand and these guys were super helpful in organizing a reprint. One of the team even picked the poster up for me on his way to work (thank you, thank you, thank you) which saved me a trip to who-knows-where! Despite my very last-minute print request, the team at UPS Tremont were able to get my poster ready in time for my conference presentation (which I had flown to the other side of the world for). Manager Ali is amazing and makes this a one-stop shop. Forget Bank of America- $10 for notary services is well worth the level of competence and efficiency you get here. And I didn't even have an appointment. This UPS makes all UPS stores look better. And the location is super convenient! read more

If there is negative star rating, I would definitely choose it. Be aware this is the worst UPS Store you would ever go. I am a UPS store mailbox holder of this store. They ahve repeatedly lost my valuable package multiple times. The store manager was notified about these problems but he did not resolve it at all. Each time I talked to any UPS Store employee, they all blamed the carrier for the problem. Stay away from this UPS Store if possible. I rather goto the nearest USPS Post Office in Chinatown than coming to this UPS Store. read more

I went in and wanted to print a page and said, how much is it per page and they said read it when you swipe your credit card. I should have known something fishy is going on getting that answer. I did, the price per page was 0.49. took my time printing my pages, no one was waiting. not noticing that there is also a price per minute. they could have easily said there is a price per minute and there is a price per page when I asked but they did not. taking advantage of people like me who make the same mistake, looking for the price per page on the long list of items that appear in front of you when you swipe your card. legally they were right but business wise they were not. I will never go there again. shameless. read more

Great, quick service and very helpful. I literally didn't have to do a thing ( i brought the item I wanted mailed un-packaged because I wasn't sure about the best packaging, since it was fragile), and I was in and out in under 4 minutes. read more

I don't know if it's weird to love a UPS store, but that's how strongly I feel about this one. Whenever I have a prepaid package to ship, I simply drop off my box (sealed or unsealed) and my printout of the Amazon-or-whatever shipping label, grab my tracking number receipt, and I'm out in less than 2 minutes. The employees here are super friendly, capable, eager to help, and offer to do everything for you - help pack your package, seal/tape it, attach the label, find the right address, etc. Bonus: this store is right next to Starbucks, and it always smells like delicious roasted coffee. read more

As a first time UPS customer,I highly not recommend you to use UPS. How to ship a package, what we do if the package is damaged and how do we request for damage claims are completely uninformed by the store stuffs before I ship out the package. After my package was damaged, the store manager, Ali, denied his responsibility to help me to request the claim. It took me 2 MONTHS, I have been consistently contacting the damage and claim department back and forth, they have finally reach a consent to pay for the damage of my package. However, this store manager hung up my phone calls several times when I tried to reach him about the information of my package(he has never called me before about anything of my damaged package claim). I had to contact the Corporate Department to help in order to make him to answer the phone call. During the conversation with him, he told me that he could not find the email of the damage department and just called them to resend the email regarding to my claim, which takes about 7 - 10 days to process. After 12 days passed by, the store manager did not give me a single phone call, I had to contact them about the claim again, and he did not answer my phone call again. I don't know what is wrong with the store or its manager, but they definitely need an immediately change of their attitude toward their customers. As a first time customer for USP, I absolutely disappointed to the customer service skill they put in practice. read more

Not reliable. Dropped off my UPS package on Dec 21, 2012. The package has not left the facility by Dec 26, 2012. By comparison, I dropped off a U-S-P-S mail on Dec 21, 2012 to the same addressee and it arrived on Dec 24, 2012. read more

Ok now I'm pissed, Yelp, but here goes...we needed to find a store in South Boston to shred, send an heirloom and turn in a Comcast box! We were heading towards an address for Comcast and saw a UPS sign. Parked and went in and met Brian. Very helpful. Great guy! He took great care in discussing the packing of the heirloom, directed me in the shredding process with Iron Mtn(?) and we were thrilled with the darling store front. Problem is they have no sign that they have any affiliation with Comcast. We almost left before we saw the # next door and realized we were at a three stop shop! How in the world can you offer services you don't advertise? Apparently there is a sight in South Boston for sale but it is too much $$$. C'mon UPS get the price right and service the people! I am from Tucson, AZ and this would have been a no brainer! Thanks to Brian and my mother's sharp eye and we were able to solve 3 problems at once but we spent hours trying to find a store in Southie! This location rocks if you can find it! read more
