What this store may lack in size it certainly makes up for it in effort. This neighborhood's official UPS store IS small. There's no getting around that. Approx 5 x 10 max in the customer area. What this means is long lines going out the door and down the block 24/7, a reflection of how badly this up and coming neighborhood needs additional shipping outlets BUT also how good this particular UPS store is. It's much less mom and pop than you may have come to expect from other locations -- because frankly they're just too busy to small-talk. But that's a good thing. They recognize that they have a job to do and they do it. The staff is friendly enough, attentive to your needs, good communicators, and they work fast. The prices are ... well, they're New York prices. There's no "bargain deals" here. But chances are you're not expecting that if you live here one assumes. As an aside this place did an awesome job during the Covid lockdown. They really stepped up. Kudos for that. read more

This ups store was a bad experience the site advertises it notarizes all documents but when you go the owner Regina decides which she will or will not, so be prepared. Probably best to call and be sure so you do not Waste your time. Very small space and not too well kept but if u just squeezing in to send a package then it serves its purpose . read more

My rating is based on passport photo. I do go here to drop Amazon packages which is convenient for me because I live pretty close to this location, there's always a line to drop packages (but in my experience UPS store locations ALWAYS HAVE A LINE TO DROP/MAIL PACKAGES no matter location). The mail/package is pretty average to any UPS store I think. Although it always looks chaotic in the location. I had to get a passport photo - so I went to this location. They do not have any special set up for doing photos! It was a basic white background and someone holding a small cannon point and shoot camera. Not an impressive camera at all. My photos was OKAY - just okay...but the lady was trying to make me take my small nose ring out and take off my earrings - saying she didn't want them to be held accountable for a photo rejection. I refused to do that, bc the State Dept Website clearly states: You can wear jewelry and keep on your facial piercings as long as they do not hide your face. I was wearing very modest basic earrings and my nose piercing is 1) always on so it's what I always look like and 2) it's not a huge piece of jewelry covering my face!! I was annoyed by the person's insistence that I take it all off - she even cited a line about "POST 911". Its not my first passport - with nose piercing on and the state department clearly has a statement on it! Anyway...I actually ended up taking my earring off to just get her to stop. The photo they took ITSELF is - in my opinion what may get it rejected...when I got the print, i was off center, and the resolution WAS NOT great. I would have been better off taking my own photo behind a white wall with an iPhone and printing it at home OR just getting it done at the post office - which is where I went right after to mail my passport & renewal application. I paid $11 for the photo at UPS. You can save yourself money by taking the photos yourself and using the state department photo tool - then send the digital print to a kinkos/walgreens/staples to print. read more

I cannot say enough what rock stars these folks are! On a really hot day, with a store full of people, my label would not scan to send a return. They patiently helped to solve the problem that originated with the product vendor. They spoke to them on the phone and printed the new labels. Regina and her staff are the best! Always kind and considerate. After two years and 100s of packages later, there were only 2 minor mix ups with my stuff, which were resolved quickly. I always got in and out fast. Parking is a bit challenging but with the speed of the service I was able to double park and run in. I recommend using them for their PO Box service especially. Came here to ship a return package and needed to print the label and return slip because I don't have access to a printer. Printing is pretty pricey ($2.60!! For one sheet!!, which is why I deducted a star), but the Filipina woman who was helping me was so lovely, patient and helpful. Guy said they didn't have a scanner for UPS bar codes and made me and everyone wait while he tried to log in to their computer to print it. Terrible customer service. Often a line and the place is very small and crowded. They have long hours and are open on Sundays, which is a plus if you're in a jam. Such a terrible experience. The workers here are helpful and competent, but the owner was an incredibly rude and horrible woman who yelled at us for being upset about getting charged twice as much as expected. We went in to ship a mirror and were given a price quote (after the mirror was weighed and measured AND the shipping box was selected, weighed, and measured). After an hour waiting for the mirror to be packed we were told it would cost twice as much as the original quote PLUS the cost of packaging. A complete rip off. The owner argued, saying that we (the customers) should have known that the original quote was just that - a quote - and that we should have expected the price to change. No one indicated to us that the original quote would be so far off the mark. The owner blamed it on the package dimensions changing due to all the bubble wrap that she chose to use. Do not waste your time getting scammed by this woman. I chose UPS because I thought of it as a business with better customer service than USPS but that was not the case - and that's saying something Never returning to this business again. DO NOT GO TO THIS UPS STORE. the employees are extremely rude and unhelpful to customers and unable to properly do their job.The woman running it will try to get your money and will break protocol. If you look there are other reviews of her lying to customers and scamming them. This store should honestly be shut down by UPS. I tried sending myself a package from here to where I am staying in New Orleans. There was a typo on the address so it said 200 LaSalle St instead of 200 LaSalle Ct. Because of this the package of was sent back. When I realized this I payed for it to be sent again with the correct address. They sent me a receipt for the package but it was a unofficial one with only the tracking number and no address. So when I realized that my package had not arrived again I used the tracking number to see that it was sent back AGAIN. I called and had them send me a real receipt with the address on it which showed they wrote Plaza instead of Court. At this point I started refusing to pay for it again because if they had gone by protocol and sent me a real receipt with the address I would have been able to correct it. They threaten to withhold my package when I said that so I decided to pay because I needed to get my stuff. I told them that I was moving to California and that I would pay for it to be sent there. The next day I check the receipt they sent me which had a completely wrong address! They had sent it to the place I was staying in Brooklyn! Now I have payed almost $40 for my stuff to be sent somewhere I cannot retrieve it even though I paid for it to be sent to my new address in California. I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received. They have broken protocol and will not listen to me so now I have to go through UPS headquarters to get my money and my stuff back. Do not go here unless you want to risk now getting your stuff back because if anything goes wrong they will not help you. read more

I don't ship often so was not aware of the options. It seemed expensive but what do I know?
