Super friendly staff that are very helpful. They get things done quickly and the prices aren't outrageous. The hours can be limited sometimes but the service is very prompt. They made a hideous task such as returning items very easy. This is a great and helpful location! read more

absolutely horrible. did not take my Amazon return box giving me some issue regarding needing to see the original label. never been asked for that in the past. in fact packed in a different box so don't have the packing label. then needed a piece of tape and they said "you can buy a roll" did not even offer to just give one piece of tape. will go 50 miles out of the way to never go here again. read more

Do not go here! If you are lucky to get the owner to help you than this place is great. If you don't walk out like I did. The man behind the counter was so rude and had such an attitude because I was asking about boxes, and how much they were. He was so rude that I just walked out without buying anything. Of course when you buy boxes that means you will be shipping something so it's a double sale. But not for this place from me. Do not spend your money here. The people at FedEx are so much nicer. I own a business that is shipping goods and will now make the extra drive to FedEx all because this guy was such a jerk. Don't waste your money here unless you want to be talked down to and be given a total attitude just for asking a couple questions. read more

Great people running a great small family business, these are the type of places I like to use. Not sure about any of the unfriendly comments. I've been in there 100+ times and rarely is anyone upset, if anything I've seen them get yelled at about things beyond their control and they've always handled it professionally and with the utmost care for the customer. This review is for the UPS store located at 318 Half Day Road in Buffalo Grove IL. Absolutely THE WORST customer service. When I arrived the man (who later said he was the owner) was standing OUTSIDE chatting with another man. I had to walk in between them to get inside (so they saw me and cannot make the excuse that he didn't see me waiting), and they kept chatting. For several minutes they kept chatting OUTSIDE the doorway, and from the conversation I overheard, they were talking about how other owners of shops in the strip mall were problematic. So when I heard they were NOT discussing business, and when I noticed the other man seemed like he was TRYING to leave but the owner would not stop talking, I said a polite "excuse me". This angered the "owner", and he accused me of interrupting a business discussion, and continued to berate me. He said I interrupted him with a customer. Since when do you talk to a customer about business outside on the sidewalk? Were you begging him to come inside so you could make a sale? That's not effective. And by all body language, the man was trying to get away. Pushy does not create customers. You know what else does not create customers? Rudeness. The "owner" (not sure if he was telling the truth. Older man. Balding. On duty at 10:45 am on 10/16/17) accused me of interrupting when all I said was a polite excuse me because I was not sure how long they would be chatting about non business things, ignoring real customers inside the shop. Second, he KEPT berating me and using passive aggressive language and demeanor, trying to blame me for who knows what. A good alternative to his horrible behavior/reaction would have been, "Pardon me. I will be with you in a moment." Instead you chose to be extremely rude to an actual customer, not a prospective customer. You mentioned "I was trying to drum up business and you interrupted." If you lost a sale with that guy, it is because of your attitude. If he really wants your business, he will come back. I highly doubt he will, after observing your (lack of) customer service skills first hand. I responded with a courteous and even keel "I had no idea he was a customer because you were outside talking about other things, and I had no idea how long your non business conversation was going to take. So all I said was a polite excuse me to remind you I was inside waiting." The guy kept berating me and complaining. COMPLETELY RUDE. At this point I said I would make sure I did not give him any business in the future, but I left feeling zero confidence that he would hand my package to the UPS driver. So I called corporate, lodged a complaint, and they advised me to go retrieve my package and bring it to another UPS store. So I did, but I made sure corporate was still on the line. And guess what? The guy continued to be rude and told me never to come back. HAHAHA. I was never planning on it. I just didn't trust him to do his job well, since he couldn't even handle being courteous to someone that was being courteous to him. If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT give your business to this store. Honestly, I had been looking at the menu thinking about using them to print some posters, but after the way this guy treated me, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I advise you to do the same. He needs to learn he cannot stay in business treating customers this way. Corporate has been called. read more

Al Crow & his team helped me get my business up on its feet in our first two years, when we had a mailbox at this location. We only had a small mailbox, but Al would let me ship large packages to this location and hold them behind the counter for me. Inexplicably, Al & his team never gave me any grief about it. Al would also personally help me bring the boxes out to my car with his dolly. There are great, friendly people and they charge reasonable prices. I still use them for shipping time-sensitive documents and packages, too, and every now and then they make up presentation board for me that always look great. The owner of this location does not treat customers with kindness or respect and others need to be aware of this before giving him their business. It has been many months since my bad experiences with this UPS store location but I continue to boycott this location and drive an extra distance to other UPS stores. read more

I have had great experiences with Todd. He is always pleasant and funny. I get in and out quickly, which is important, so I can get back to work. I have had various sizes of orders and each time over the past few years, he has been informative and helpful. I've never used their printing services, but I hear they're reasonably priced with a lot of options. I would highly recommend this UPS Store! read more
