    Rude service and charge a $5 fee to print out a label that is already prepaid. What a ridiculous markup for a label.

    These people either don't have a clue how long it will take to send a package Priority, or they lie…read moreabout it. I had 2 fairly large packages to mail to Fairbanks Alaska. The postal clerk, who has worked there for many years, told me that if I sent them Priority that they would be delivered "in three days." Priority was very expensive, but I decided to go with that, and I paid over $156.00 to send both packages priority--over $75/package. I carried both packages in at the same time, so they were not that big or that heavy. I logged on to the website with both tracking numbers, so I could give my friend (who would have to drive through the snow) the best ETA time. I was stunned to see that the delivery time was actually going to be over 2 1/2 weeks, NOT the 3 days the clerk had promised. I went back down there today and met with the manager, who was just shy of utterly useless. He told me that despite the clerk's lie, that there was nothing they could do to "expedite" the delivery, and no, they would not issue any kind of a refund from the price I paid for priority, to "regular" delivery. What thieves. Fed Ex and UPS have their issues too, but at least when they give you an ETA for delivery, it is accurate; it doesn't take them four times the estimate they initially promised for delivery. It's even more galling that the PO charged me over $75 per package.

    MAIL CENTER UNDER NEW SUPER NICE OWNERSHIP…read more The Mail Center has been under new ownership for a good few months now. The owner, Heather brightens and warms the place up. It's always nice to see her and the adorable puppy (no, I'm not talking about Jeff:) Jeff has been there thru the different owners and it's always nice to see him. I was sad that Rebecca had to go with the previous owner to Ventura.. I promised I would come on and change my previous bad review or write a new one. The previous owner tried to bully me to and even tho that super terrible guy was gone, it still lingered. But Heather deserves a clean slate and the place is sOoo much better now. I was more than happy to write this. So for anyone new and looking at previous poor reviews .... I HAD to come on about a year or so ago and write a bad review as there was an employee who was so incredibly horrible that almost every bad review references him (or employees who had to follow some really cheap rules of the owner back then) this one employee even made the other employees miserable... I dreaded coming in. You could not even say "Hello" to this guy without getting the crappiest and most inappropriate response. It was nuts. They finally let him go and Rebecca came onboard and things got better. The owner back then also made everyone's life yucky by making rules like having employees charge for silly things... like an inch of tape.... if one reads you will see the only bad reviews were about that old owner and that red headed pudgy ray of pure depression that made dark clouds afraid to congregate and cower in fear :D. sounds dramatic but so true. Heather, the new owner is incredibly nice and I truly hope she remains. I have been a yearly box holder for a couple years or so now and I have seen a couple owners. GIVE THE NEW OWNER A CHANCE How many owners put sweet notes saying Hi introducing themselves to everyone in their store? Heather does. I don't see my original poor review about that depressing guy and the old owner but it is unfortunate the new owner, heather has to inherit past owners reviews. And if the place hadn't changed so noticeably I wouldn't waste my time. Really happy with the store now. A long time ago I batted about some ideas for the place but it never was worth bringing to that other owner... one idea to bring in people was to use some of that wall space to the left of front door as youre walking in... instead of the table on the other side with scattered business cards (does anyone really read them?) ie, a nice community board like they have at the TO Senior center next to the Library... they hand out same size card to everyone to write on and have a couple sections like rooms for rent or help wanted and help offered. etc. and its behind glass so its legit and not just scattered business cards and they clear it themselves once a month or something as it needs space. A really nice one would bring in people ? and if the area near the glass was made cozy and shaded from light you could set up a few chairs and some board games where people could check out and play like some of those boba coffee houses do. Some boardgamers groups would probably pay to be able to have a place to play if you could setup a bigger table you could charge them a few bucks for a weeknight to use the front.... the santa susana museum had a room they did that for for the Simi Boardgamers Group. Ventura County Boardgamers used to have an attorneys office 1 night a week with all the boardrooms rockin with people bringing in their games and a few snacks just off Wendy Dr. :D

Plenty of parking and no wait time...couldn't have been smoother. They also sell greeting cards and shipping supplies, which is super convenient.

The advantage of using her VA service is that more than one person will be trained on how to take care of your business, so if one person is sick or on vacation, you're not left in the lurch. They can not only take your calls, but do mass mailings, out bound calls to whomever you need called, spread sheets, web work, you name it.

    I had to post this review perhaps somewhat in defense of TOPS reading one of the reviews below…read more I'm not buying this negative review -- especially when it comes to using things like "meth lab....filthy....disgusting" -- it loses all credibility. What I've learned in business is there are always two stories and the truth. You can decide where I come in on this. So let me share my personal experience. I worked with TOPS/Sandy for 2+ years. In that time they fulfilled literally thousands of orders for me. In that time I trusted them with inventory worth a significant sum. In that time they always went above and beyond for us and our "daily deal" e-commerce firm. Obviously in fulfillment things can and do go wrong at times but they were always on top of it and had our best interests at heart. In addition, we had the best overall fulfillment rate from them and we used more than one fulfillment company -- they were our "go to" as long as the inventory was close to their warehouse. I found the smaller operation provided far more customized and personal service than other experiences. I honestly can say I would trust them completely and the very next business I have (my daily deal biz was sold) that would call for fulfillment they would be my FIRST CALL.
