"We don't have internet for customers, you need to go to the Starbucks across the lot". What? Ran to SB's where had to enter valid email (it detected my false email attempts to avoid spam), sent docs and ran back to Annex. Employee printed, then tried to Fax. it was busy again & again & again. I called the govt agency Inwas faxing to who said Fax was working fine on their end. Ran to UPS ScottsV where they sent it through first try and said it's not uncommon for print shops to still operate with outdated fax machines that are notoriously know to have issues. It about cost me my case. Can't express the helpfulness of the UPS staff vs the lacksidasical, non-caring attitude of Annex's staff.

Every time I come to the post office I realize just how little I know about how to ship items…read more (certified mail, insurance, media mail, etc.) but the staff here are full of knowledge and very helpful. I love that this location stays open until 5, unlike other offices around town. There is a full size parking lot, so parking is never an issue. The person who helped me was Lilian the owner and she was super helpful. The store follows Covid guidelines and is super clean and organized. Unfortunately, on June 29, I had a very disappointing experience with Lillian. I was returning two packages, and I needed to pay USPS shipping costs for one of the items. Lillian pulled the options up on the monitor and I selected USPS Ground as the most economical way to ship the return item with tracking. Lillian asked me, "Are you a business, because USPS Ground is only available to businesses." As I am not a business, I then selected a non-tracked option for the return, as the only other choices were equal in cost to the value of the item I was returning, much more than the ~$8 USPS Ground would have cost. Afterwards, I contacted the USPS to check whether the information Lillian had provided was correct on whether USPS Ground shipping was only available to businesses because the more I thought about it, the more I thought this was wrong. USPS confirmed that Lillian had lied to me - see https://www.usps.com/ship/ground-advantage.htm. I have no idea why Lillian provided me with false information which made the return tracking options so much more costly, but I will never use Central Coast again for my shipping needs. It may be a bit more inconvenient to go to UPS or USPS directly, but I would rather spend a few minutes in a line than be deceived by Lillian. With her many years in this business, I have no doubt that she clearly knows the rules by now, making her deception deliberate and for what, to scam a few extra bucks off me? Shameful.

I opened two support cases with USPS for two anticipated deliveries where tracking had showed it…read morearrived at this post office before delivery, and ended up not making it to my home. This post office went above and beyond in getting my packages to me. Over the last few days, I've received two phone calls from this post office from a very sweet, considerate person named Tami. They brought the delivery team together, coordinated and confirmed where my deliveries would have ended up, and went as far as to knock on the door of the residence, leaving a note with contact info, and the folks living there called the post office saying they had it and would drop it off at the post office the same afternoon! Thankfully my neighbor connected with me about the other delivery that ended up at their mailbox. I've received both of my deliveries within four days. I write this review because while I would be valid in being frustrated, the fact that the folks here took accountability, came together, and made this right, makes this a 5 star USPS in my mind, and disengaged my ability to be frustrated. Our postal service is very likely overworked, underpaid, and also run by humans - as a human that's part of this community, I make mistakes all the time. I'm so grateful to the folks at this post office that serve such a critical function for all Ben Lomond residents. Thank you again for your help! They endured the abuse with patience and compassion, and when it was our turn the clerk was so nice.
