Quick, efficient service with great parking. Favorite post office. Very popular spot.

Every time I come to the post office I realize just how little I know about how to ship items (certified mail, insurance, media mail, etc.) but the staff here are full of knowledge and very helpful. I love that this location stays open until 5, unlike other offices around town. There is a full size parking lot, so parking is never an issue. Unless you visit an hour before close, you will rarely be met with a line. Additionally, there is a user friendly self service kiosk located just outside the customer service area. read more

The mail carrier for our residence consistently leaves our packages in the rain to get destroyed and puts them in front of our gate making it impossible for me to get in the house. I have tried to discuss it with him but he is belligerent. read more

Don't go downtown, go here! There is plenty of free parking, no lines, and friendly staff.

Today the woman behind the counter tried to excessively charge me $5 for a letter size envelope weighing less than 2 oz and about 1/8 inch thick. She claimed it was a package because it was slightly uneven. I looked at the postal regulations after I got home. For uneven letters, they are supposed to charge 44 cents extra. I ended up driving the envelope to its destination rather than be excessively charged. read more

Thank you Milan for helping me. Going to the Post office give me a lot of anxiety. Mostly because I do not mail often nor do I know how things works with mailing. I am 26 years old and had been putting it off all week. I get anxiety when the line backs up and people rush me. On top of that I am dyslexic so messing up and address is a scary thought that could happen so I have to move slow and be carful. Today when I went he was so kind and gently walked me through every step, including peeling off the seal, (wow they dont even use glue anymore!). After we were done i noticed a line, but during the transaction Milan was so friendly I felt happy the whole time. We would think as adults going to the post office would be easy... but there are a lot of anxieties we all feel about mailing important items. Every time I've gone to this location I'm greeted with a smile and a gentleman who genuinely wants to help. I wasn't sure what size box to ship flat rate and he came from around the counter, found the appropriate size, added complimentary padding and even tapped it up. At UPS, they charged me for tape. After a few visits, I did the survey on their receipts- which I never bother doing- to recognize his consistent high level of care in Im sure is a thankless job. 5 stars. read more

Good customer services. Helpful Staff and short wait here on Saturday morning. Remember they are Federal Employees so they do not have to be Pleasant and Polite because you are not walking into a Fine Dining Restaurant. Just let them know what you need to mail out and pay them. Better than DMV though. read more

RESURECTED IN LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES. Somehow just prior to my vacation our Tacoma mail carrier killed me off in addition to my recently deceased mother of 2018. My vacation was delayed missing prepaid concerts. I was actually extremely upset, but by the time I'd figured out I was dead, the Soquel Post Office had me breathing again in just minutes. The workers here are the nicest, most helpful, patient people ever, they always have a smile and put up with my 20 + packages every other day without a sweat. Milan and Chris are just amazing!!! Incredibly rude, I don't do returns here often but I had to today. I printed out my return paper and my item and set it on the counter. The staff member (rose), not only was there a delay in coming to the service desk, but decided to be incredibly rude with me telling me they don't give free boxes and tape and packaging for returns, and kept repeating herself asking me if I understand what she saying. Handed me a box which was nice of her but then dismissed me told me to come back later, giving my spot to the next customer in line. Meanwhile this is all happening in a quiet post office for everyone to hear. I understand your job may not always be the easiest but maybe have a bit more patients, even though I didn't come prepared you really shouldn't expect people to let you talk to them like that, so I just took my item of return and paper and left the business to go to another post office who might be a bit more helpful and polite. read more

I went into the post office today to mail a package to the UK. I had no idea how to do it, didn't have a box ready, anything. I went up to Ron totally lost and he was very kind and explained to me exactly what I needed to do. There was also a very nice woman, didn't catch her name, that helped me out with a customs form. I was very happy with my visit, was worried they would be frustrated with me but they were awesome. Thank you guys!!! read more

Super friendly people working there!! Hardly a wait at 1pm on a Friday. There's a parking lot right out front when you come around the corner on Seabright Ave. - though I'm not sure if you're supposed to park there - seems to be for other businesses in Eberts Center, but everyone going to the post office was using it. Came in here on a Saturday because I was tracking down a package that was sent to me with the wrong address. Even though this location mainly services PO boxes (doesn't do mail sorting) one of the agents happens to also work at the main office. She took all my information and promised to personally track it down on Monday, or at least try, if it is still in the office. Everyone was so pleasant here, and there were 4? agents working at the desks, so the many customers were all being helped efficiently and happily. Great experience. Honestly, I was surprised as I've never had a good USPS office experience, but this place takes the cake! read more

Oh happy day! When I read that the PO on Morrissey had closed, I was worried that the new one wouldn't be as magically wonderful. But it is!! Maybe it's the same staff. I'm here in Santa Cruz for the Thanksgiving weekend, and I stocked up on stamps and fits/ships boxes here because the POs near where I live on the Peninsula are very unpleasant experiences. read more
