This place does not even deserve one star. I have been highly disappointed the last two times I have visited this place. Today was the very last time I will ever go there. I walked in with a package to be shipped a the rude, extremely unprofessional lady who was working immediately responded with not a hello bu a "um, hun, you can't leave this here, we are not a storage" I said excuse me! I am here to ship this ups as it states this business does. She replied with "well, I am sorry you weren't told we couldn't ship this we are just a small store" I can't store this. I'm sorry you weren't told this. Btw, I called ahead but apparently she is too busy doing nothing to even answer the phone. Let me makes something very clear to this business.. do NOT say you can ship items via UPS if you don't. If you have a size limit, explain that somewhere! This store often does not open on time. On at least three occasions I have arrived at 8am (their opening hour) only to wait 15-20 minutes and still not have any employees arrive/open the business. Don't plan to use this business in the first hour of their opening. read more

Unfortunately not a great experience. The other UPS stores I've visited have always supplied a nice, professional experience. A few customers waited at the counter while the employees were talking in the back room. When they did come out it wasn't very welcoming. I'm dropping off two packages for my wife, returning some electronics. One of the preprinted labels turned out to be for FedEx (didn't realize). Rather than politely state that they don't except Fedex packages, and employee walked up said, "these are Fedex. We don't take Fedex." And walked away. Not sure what the intention was but not a great customer service strategy. I will gladly drive the extra miles to the Avenida Encinas location in Carlsbad. read more

Absolutely horrible experience with a damage claim. Unhelpful, uncaring and downright deceitful. Owner did not want to turn away my business which ended up being over $300 and did not disclose restrictions on what she could ship. She and her staff packed up my items, (clearly insufficiently), which included small bottles of champagne and when my package arrived in pieces, she insisted that she had no idea what she was sending and was unable to file a claim. She literally packed it herself but insisted that I hadn't told her there was wine. Unfortunately for me, she took a chance and sent my items so she wouldn't lose the business, but when they broke, she "remembered" that she was restricted from sending them. There is a reason they are consistently reviewed so poorly - go anywhere else!!! read more

Today (Feb 15, 2023) I walked in 6 mins before closing to ship a package to GB. A young lady and 2 young gentlemen did their very best to successfully help me. In fact after I drove out with the packing slip in my pocket, they called me to bring it back. It was almost 20 mins past the closing time. Customer service needs improvement I've been here several times on various occasions, from mailing items,to returning equipment, to getting printing services. Each time I've been met with friendly employees but it always seems like there is some special challenge to every service I seek. This last time I needed B/W and color prints. I had tried to use their new online eprint system, but after several attempts of uploading files and having server errors, I gave up and loaded my files on a USB drive. At most printing places I go to, this is pretty standard. I arrived at the store and one employee was on the phone, helping a customer and the other was in the post office box area behind the counter. I stood there for several minutes without an acknowledgement from the one on the phone and the other either didn't hear me come in or ?? as I casually looked at merchandise on the counter. After the gal on the phone ended her conversation, she directed me to the computer in the corner and told me that the only way to get b/w prints is to use the computer at $.30/min and do it myself. REALLY? I've gone to other UPS stores where they were happy to take my USB drive and do it for me. And for my color copies- there was some kind of technical issue going on because the other employee had to run it several times to get correct prints. So even though this is a super convenient location for me, I have absolutely no reason to continue coming here until the owner can create a more customer-centric environment! read more

I received an Amazon package today I wanted to return. The package was exactly as I received it and was never opened. This store refused to take my item because of how it was packaged, despite it being exactly as it was shipped to me. I am now stuck looking for alternative shipping methods or a different UPS store that will cooperate with me. read more

I needed to shred a box of stuff. I used a coupon, dropped it off and it was that simple. The drop of boxes are locked so no worrying somebody else will come get your personal info. It was very easy and quick. read more

Great Friendly Competent people working at this location. I wish I had the name of the lady who helped me last, she was great, I was super frazzled and overly stressed, also on the eleventh hour to make a return to Amazon. She took over, printed my label from my phone, did everything for me. Then looked me straight in the eyes and said that sometimes people need someone to just give some extra care, and asked me to please take care, and give myself a break, and enjoy my night. I have used this as my mailing address for over 15 years. It is great to know someone will sign for my packages, my mail is secure and my personal residence address is not advertised. Although expensive for them to do packaging for you, and I found their insueance of packages sent not to pay through loopholes in their policy, I appreciate the reliability of all the other services including notary. Yes, this UPS store is as bad as the other reviews indicate. Bad quotes, then failure to honor the quote! Wouldn't provide an Express envelope for Express service (?!?). Said that we had to pay $3 to get a shipping label printed! Went to another UPS store, had a great experience. This isn't a one-time thing.
