My husband went to pick up a package once since we had it shipped to this store. The guy was weird, rude. Looked at his ID for a long time and now ever since they deny everything we try to ship there for pick up. Rude. I've already had 3 people be so rude to me there. We will never use this store again. A woman employee or perhaps the manager of this location has an extremely rude tone of voice and attitude. I will never go to this UPS store again. I had a UPS mailbox for several years in PAcific Beach and each and every employee at that location was professional and cordial at all times. This woman employee in Carlsbad was loudly reprimanding another employee in an uncomfortable way as I waited at the front counter to be helped. UPS should be embarrassed to have an employee with such an angry attitude waiting on customers. read more

This is the best place to mail anything. They are helpful, friendly and go out of their way to help. The Post Office in Carlsbad on Aviara is the worst, I do not go there anymore. I always use the postal annex they are the best! read more

I've been a box holder and steady customer of this store for close to 15 years and have always been completely satisfied with all services. The original owner and staff were remarkable and I was sad to see them leave. I am equally grateful for experience with the current owner of now must be at least five or six years. Kiran has done that much and more including remodeling the entire store increasing the employees and decreasing the wait time even at Peak periods. This is the kind of place where the ' remarkable staff' will greet you by your name and start walking to get packages or mail before you even hand them your slip. I drop off packages here often because of the location. Generally everyone who works there has been nice and does their job. I've been there twice when the owner was there and she was rude both times.Today I had two items from Amazon on the same return code and I told her that. She proceeded to lecture me about how I should always have separate codes for each item. Then she decided that she'd tell me about her lack of knowledge about Amazon returns..saying I wouldn't be able to track each item individually and if gets lost Amazon won't refund me. This is incorrect information. I've never had issues with Amazon. I won't be giving my business to someone who talks to her customers the way she does. Rude, poor customer service. I had items to ship back from Amazon. Amazon gave me a QR code and items to bring in to UPS unboxed. The woman at the counter told me that she can't ship my items because they're too big. It is what Amazon asked me to do it wasn't my choice. She continued to be rude and unhelpful. She told me to go to another store and threatened that if my items didn't get to Amazon it wasn't her fault. read more

Worst Shipping store on the planet! If there was a "0" star Rating, I would have done that one. They are rude, and unhelpful. They don't even have the DHL bags which are free, instead they want you to buy their mailer to make up for their unpreparedness, and they charge 2X what any place else would charge for it. Not to mention, they won't even help you pick it out, and when you go and do it yourself, they stand around and say it won't work you should buy the bigger one. I gave up. Total waste of time. I ship a lot for my company. Won't make the mistake of coming here again. I tried to ship something a year ago and I had forgotten why I left unhappy and I helped... now I Remember! Rude, rude, rude, aggressive, angry manager/owner! She is a bully!! Stay away!! I needed a document notarized. The first time I went, the male staff member grunted at me that he couldnt notarize my document because I needed a better copy. I made a second trip to the store with the new copy, I was told it was unacceptable to notarize again. When I tried to explain, the manager/supervisor person in charge accused me of lying about being told to bring a better copy. I asked her to explain what I needed to bring for the notary, but she walked away from me and no one else would help me.... totally crazy....I read the other reviews and it sounds like she treats everyone badly. read more

DO NOT GET FINGERPRINTED HERE! I had two cards and paid 30/card. The DTIS did not accept either, so I went to get refingerprinted. They wouldn't do it or give me a refund. I went to a professional rolling company, and the results / card that they provided for me was NIGHT AND DAY of a difference! I went to demand a refund and the manager was very unreceptive and did not accommodate me at all. Or even try to. I would not even give them normal service again. read more

Came in to this UPS Store at 3:22PM (time on my receipt) on a Saturday with an urgent UPS letter to send. The sullen clerk (nose sticking out of his mask) quoted me the overnight rate with delivery on Monday and the 2-day rate with delivery on Tuesday. It was urgent that the letter arrive at destination for a Wednesday morning appointment, so I opted for the 2-day Tuesday delivery. Paid the $50+ fee and got a receipt with tracking number. The tracking number was not activated on Saturday evening as would be expected. On Sunday, no activation. Store closed, so I called UPS Customer Service. The agent said that either the UPS pickup at the store had occurred before I made my transaction or there was no UPS pickup after my transaction. It's a small store, and the clerk must have known that pickup had happened already. Or, at the end of their workday, no pickup had occurred and no one at the store could be bothered to take the day's packages up the street to the UPS Center. So either the clerk simply lied to me or else could not be bothered to make a little extra effort to meet his quoted delivery date. My letter was finally picked up from the store by UPS on Monday and delivered on Wednesday, missing the appointment. The whole point of express delivery (and the legal requirement for its very existence) is that overnight and 2-day express items are always EXTREMELY URGENT. My advice is avoid this UPS Store, even for prepaid drop-offs, and go up the street a few blocks to the UPS Center, pay less, and get the service that you pay for. read more

I totally agree with other 1 star (no zero star choice available) reviews on rude South Asian looking owner/manager. Really too bad this place is the closest UPS store from our house, and we give them a lot of business - shipping, notary...etc, but We cannot use this store any more. It's just not right how the owner/manager can yell at the customer like she yelled at me today. I cannot support her business. Today, one girl at the counter was trying to fax something for me and it was taking forever. After waiting about 20 minutes I asked the girl a few times how it was going and she said the machine was old and she had to repeat a few times because paper was not going through smoothly. I had 9 pages to fax. After a few more minutes, the said owner/manager came over and started yelling at me that the fax machine is a very good one and the fax line is busy and there's nothing they could do about it. The first time I heard about busy fax line. She kept saying It's not the girl's fault who was working on it. I never said that it was her fault, and the girl agreed. All I wanted to know was why it was taking so long because I had to go somewhere else so I had to decide if I wanted to keep waiting. When I started to say 'so when you said that page 9 was now going, it wasn't really going?' She all of a sudden pushed the button on the fax machine and yelled 'I cancelled it! You keep asking questions we cannot answer!' It was just shocking to me how she could yell at her customer like that and just cancel the fax! Maybe they are only suited for some prepackaged return box drop off's, but anything involving customer interaction/service is beyond their limit. read more

If you want to have a terrible day, then I suggest using Karin's shop. The most horrendous customer service I have ever experienced complete with getting screamed at in my face by Karin herself. If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs. I should note the rest of her employees were very kind and did try sincerely to help me. I use this location frequently due to location, but each time I've been in there, the main person who is there (possibly a lead) frequently exudes a negative attitude towards the customers. this is my UPS store. The staff is always super friendly. Even during Christmas time. There is a Hallmark store right next door where I buy a lot of gifts for Family. UPS always ships my packages and they get there in one piece and as beautiful as when I purchased them. They take care of my home business shredding. I have never had a problem.
