    Exterior of this store needs TLC but the service inside is top notch.

    If you ever need to go to a UPS store, go to this one. Everyone here is always friendly and attentive. They work fast and always greet you when entering their store. The owner of the plaza can do a much better job keeping the sidewalks clean but the quality of service you receive makes the trip worth it (:

    If I could give this store a 0 I would. I was just released from the hospital from a 10 hour surgery last night. I received an email from the sender that a rather large package would be arriving on Monday, my surgery day. I contacted customer service to have my package taken to the local UPS Store for pickup because I did not want a large package just sitting on my porch. I paid the 5.99 fee to have this done. Tuesday, today, I called this UPS Store to ask if the package was there 8:45am. If it wasn't there it was no big deal. I explained that I just had surgery and my father would probably come pick up my package since he is out getting my meds, etc. Specifically, I asked what does he need in order for my package to be released to him. I was told he needed to show the tracking number and his ID. He said call back after 12pm because their deliveries usually come at that time. That was the plan to call back. Great, we hung up. About an hour or so later I received a text saying my package had been delivered to this UPS store. I thought that was odd because the first rep said call after 12pm. So to be sure I called back to double check if it had been delivered or not, 11:45am. The rep answered - a different rep because the voice was different, he checked and confirmed the package in fact was there. Again I explained I had just got out of surgery and my dad is out getting things that I needed and he can swing by if the package was there. The rep confirmed. Once again I asked and what does my dad need to show to pick up the package? He said the tracking number and his ID. So my dad arrives with the stated info and he was told that our names needed to match - we needed to have the exact first name and exact last name (unreal, not even logical) and he was told he needed to have a utility bill from my address with his name on it - huh, what!?!? If I was told this from either of the 2 reps (not 1 but 2 reps) I would have been more understanding. So my dad called me. He put the UPS guy he was talking to on the line. Of course I did not want to hear his explanation telling me what he just told my 82 year old father, so he calls Richard to the phone. I'm livid by this point! Basically what they were telling me is I needed to go in person. As if I was lying, playing games, trying to deceive, or lie about who I was or who my father said he was. We have the same address on our DL, and we have the same last name on our DL. Sometimes as owners you need to make an executive decision, and make an assessment of the person standing in front of them. I guess Richard thought an 82 year old man was in there trying to steal someone else's package?? So, I got up to go down there just to talk to him face to face! I am a business owner myself, I hold 3 degrees, a AA, BS, & MPA. I also work for the government and I have been employed there for 25 years. I worked in private industry for 15 years. I have built a ton of relationships over time and you never know who you are dealing with. We should all be careful who we are speaking to on a daily basis. That being said, I told him he has hired incompetent staff because there is no way I should have received the same information from 2 different staff members. Not once did either of them even MENTION a utility bill so NO I don't want to hear about a bill now Richard! You saw me because I showed you - I still had on hospital socks with rubber on the top and bottoms, I still had a bandage around my arm from the IV, and I had drains coming from my abdomen. Then Richard tries to show me the UPS Identification breakdown. He grabbed it off one of his back counters. In no specific place, not posted on any particular wall, it was just sitting there. This flyer had the info Richard attempted to explain to me, however 2 of his staff NEVER followed what was on the flyer. I strongly suggested he post it in their break-room and that he call a staff meeting to MAKE SURE everyone is following the rules, not just the owner. I guarantee you if Richard was not there, they would have given my dad my package with simply showing his ID and the tracking number just as the 2 reps said over the phone earlier. Well Mr Richard you are not perfect and you are trying to be Unfortunately, that is not how business works, that is not what keeps owners in business & because you think you're perfect you won't be an owner very long. It is about customer satisfaction, and it's about making that executive decision when your gut tells you to do so. Every "rule" cannot apply to ALL situations. That's like fitting a triangle into a circle. You could have handled this differently, but YOU chose not to. I pray nothing goes wrong with my healing because of you causing me undue stress. Your problem will be much bigger than releasing a stupid package to my father with the same last name and same address. Unhappy customers tell 10 or more people. I am on my 15th person.

    Upon arrival you can tell these co-workers have a system and it works for them. The line was always moving in rotation. My notary was done in less then 10 minutes with no wait and no appointment. Even the prices seemed To be cheaper at this location. But to be fair the shredding machine service was 1.29 a pound here and with the same machines as the compton location. My bar-bq method is better anyway so I'll either buy me a shreader of just stick to the cremation of documents lol. Love this store always on top of things. QUICK, FAST AND EFFICIENT.

    I had a package of collectibles worth about $250 coming out Monday which was good because I was…read moreleaving for Vegas on Wednesday. It wound up being delayed until Tuesday which was still ok. I was waiting for the delivery when my delivery notice doorbell sound popped up on my phone. My wife went to the door a couple of minutes later and there was nothing there. Of course you can't contact the local FedEx to contact the driver to ask him what happened. You can only talk to their central call center which is usually a lost cause. I told them to look at the proof of delivery picture which just shows part of a box. Look for yourself and tell me if you could figure out anything about what it was, where it was delivered or even if it was delivered. The driver could have kept it for himself based on that useless picture since the name of the company is on the boxes they ship merchandise in showing what kind of merchandise is inside. The call center was no help. When I called the next day, an automated message said the case was closed and to contact the shipper. Fortunately, I'd sent an email to them as soon as I checked all the neighbors houses to confirm it hadn't been left at a nearby house since I checked right after receiving the delivery "confirmation" text and found nothing there. These shipments have items that run out and may not be able to be replaced so I had to contact the shipper immediately. I've been a customer for years so they know my reputation and sent a replacement order immediately after seeing the "proof of delivery" picture. I really wish I could meet with the driver so I could have a nice "conversation" with this clown. I know FedEx would never provide me this information. A shame. Most times, there are no problems with FedEx but when a bad apple is making deliveries, things go downhill fast.
