I used to go here all the time but I would rather drive across town and wait in line than deal with this place. It's not that the people that work here aren't nice, it's just they nickel and dime you for every thing, everything at this UPS store is much more expensive than the other one in town. The real reason for the review is there mailbox services. They charge you after a couple of large packages and they don't have 24hr access. The mailboxes are also considerably more expensive than the other UPS store in town. You just don't feel welcome walking into this store, or not wanted like it's somehow a burden. I don't know how to explain it just the vibe is off. I guess it's really only good for returning an Amazon package. read more

I'll never go back to this store. Such incompetence on display. Showed up today to get a document notarized only to be informed after waiting 20 minutes that the notary/owner was gone to the bank and no idea when he'd return. Apparently he had been gone for 2 hours already. Why offer a service that you cannot perform, on the start of a holiday weekend. Other customers wanted to obtain an PO Box only to be informed that the owner holds the key. Also, one poor clerk left to man a busy store. This screams of poor leadership and mismanagement. Appalling and I'll be contacting corporate to lodge a formal complaint. read more

Used this for an Amazon return where I printed the label. I've done this with other stores, and they charged me for a roll of tape to tape the box. This store, actually taped the box shut for me and taped on my printed return label, with a smile instead of any additional charges. read more

The woman in front of me literally told me the guy behind the counter was an absolute jerk as she was leaving. I had an Amazon return and she wasn't wrong. The man working was extremely rude. Maybe someone else can help make sense of this since it seems to be a pattern but my box wasn't taped. I dont ever tape it at the other one it doesn't even have to be in a box. He like refused my return. I thought I had the wrong return label on Amazon. So he actually let me cancel my return and redo it so he could tell me again that my box needed tape and that he wasn't taking it. Absolutely no ambition to accommodate my transaction. Like I would have bought tape. It would have cost me more than $2 to go home and tape the box but he never allowed it to be an option. Oof not again. read more

This is an awful place to go. He charged packaging and tape for a return that I had a label for and was processed by T mobile. This guy is a cheap and rude person. Plus the face that I am visibly a senior just didn't have my aarp card. And to my dismay he would not give me the discount. At my age every penny counts. I have always had a very good experience at the UPS store for all my shipping needs, printing and notary needs.

This is the worst experience I have had in a UPS store I had 3 copies needed to be notarized and this guy charge $20 a page for his stamp. $60 total. After checking when I got home I found they can only charge $10 per notary signature. Stopped back snd the manager argued with me and offered $10 back. $30 would have been acceptable but all that did was prove he was wrong. UPS corporation is my next call. This part of the company doesn't even follow basic standard handling practices, much less treat their employees well. Breaking boxes because of poor loading (one part that isn't because of their own incompetency), reducing employee hours and saying it will not affect their income, removing overtime hours to save the company money and deny employees their income they worked for. Its surprising that they even stay in business down here with how often packages having broken if not damaged contents. Safety doesn't matter, as safety doesn't even show their face at the location. Egress is supposed to be important, even more so when working in a tinder box, yet somehow one or two of the exits are blocked by package bags that can weigh upwards to a hundred pounds. read more

Came here a few days ago to return a amazon prepaid package. The owner is very rude, he immediately was bothered and upset at my request to return. He said that he does not make any money on pre-paid packages. I needed to get them taped up. So I told him I would pay he charged me $3.00 to tape a small box. All in all I don't mind paying for services but cmon don't be a condescending jerk. read more

Due to a death, we went needed to have insurance papers notarized and the owner Julius treated us like a criminal. He wanted us to explain the paperwork and felt he needed to know where the deceased person was. He was extremely rude and I will be calling the corporate office. read more

That today I received the package from Amazon and the packaging was fine but inside it was damaged so I had to return it I put tape on it but it was in real good strong tape so when I get to the store I speak to a gentleman that was there I didn't know that he was the owner I asked him if I can get a piece of tape to put across the box he said it's $1.50 I said for a piece of tape he said that's what I charge for a small box that's horrible because I go to the one on Florence and they wouldn't do that to me I'm not asking for a lot of tape it was just one piece so I tell him that I want to speak to the manager he tells me he's the owner and that's why he doesn't have certain employees there because they give away stuff and at the other store shouldn't do that I said for a piece of tape so I bought a whole roll there which it wasn't even that great he was very rude and he didn't care if I called corporate or if I put a complaint and it didn't make them a difference I asked him for his name and business card he said it's right there take it it wasn't where he told me so I told him if he could write it on a piece of paper he wrote the phone number but didn't put his name I asked him for his name and he told me it's Julius Vergara I don't know if that's how you spell it that's how he wrote it I really didn't understand his writing I will never go back to that store again and I live right up the street but that's horrible customer service I was only asking for one piece of tape they're making money off you sending the product out so I just want to let whoever goes in there just beware of Customer Service it stinks remember for a lousy piece of tape. read more

Worst UPS store ever. UPS delivered me a box that was opened and damaged. When I took it back to this UPS store to return to shipper the store wanted to charge me because the box was damaged. When I told the lady that the box was in the same condition as UPS delivered it to me she made it very plain that they were a store and they did not deliver it therefore I had to pay her for shipping a damaged box. The UPS store on Florence gets five stars, the store would get a -5 if I could do it. read more

The main gentlemen at this location is rude and unprofessional. Then you wonder why many people stop coming to this location. Totally agree with all the other reviews. The owner is very rude and tried to refuse the last package we sent back, even when my husband showed him the instructions received from DirecTV to take to UPS Store and they would package and return. He did take it, but he didn't like it. I live in Villago behind the Fry's Shopping Center, but will drive to the UPS Store on Florence Blvd because they are friendly and I have never had a problem with them. read more

I have used this UPS Store a couple of times. On my first visit, the Man working was very rude. Figuring we all have an off day now and then, I thought I would give it a try again.
