Service: 5/5 Value: 5/5 I always have a pleasant experience whenever I need to return my Amazon items and, if you have ever needed to return multiple packages, you know how discombobulated and self-conscious you can feel. The staff has never made me feel like a hassle or problem. This time around, in addition to dropping off my Amazon returns, I needed color copies made for a project that I've been working on. The young lady who helped me was such a darling and so patient with me as I communicated the exact configurations I needed for my copies. I believe each colored copy was around $0.70-0.80 depending on the paper size - totalling my 5 copies to be around $4. I was a bit apprehensive about getting copies made but this painless experience has made me excited for any future copies/paper needs I might have. Went to this location with an a Amazon return. They refused to accept my return in the clear plastic bag it shipped in. Tried to sell me a different bag for $5.50. They were pretty curt about my options so I took the item to a different store and they accepted it with no problem. Made me mad they wasted my time. Won't go to that location ever again. read more

I went to the UPS store this morning 8/5/2023 with some packages I was returning. The packages already had the tags, all they had to do was scan the barcode and give me the receipt. I was told they could only accept 1 package because 3 packages were in clear bags and could not be accepted and 1 pkg had tape on the barcode(this was NOT true, I could see the entire barcode). I was told I could go south and the stores would accept the packages but he would not. WHY did he feel the need to tell me where I needed to go, all the stores should have the same procedures. This is a problem and UPS management needs to find out why this store on Hartsel refuses to accept packages that another store had no problems accepting. I took my packages to the UPS on N Union and they took all four. The rep was courteous and I didn't encounter any difficulties. read more

Being as tired as I was, I didn't have much patience left in me. However, this UPS store was so clean, the staff was efficient, and before it was even my turn in line, Matthew greeted me and asked what he could do to help me. He managed to come up with some small talk that wasn't about the weather and had a pleasant attitude. He smiled politely the entire time and packaged my textbook with regards to my concerns of the corners bending. Before I left, he wished me luck in my classes and welcomed me to come again. I was just told by Tyler that "in life there are no guarantees" when asking if I would be refunded for a shipment that arrived 5 days after its "guarantee date". He made me feel so guilty for asking that I forgot to purchase the stamps I had originally gone into the store for. I'm so taken aback that I was treated so disrespectfully over $21. The printing services are now ridiculous. They charge 2.95 for 5mins on the computer for it to be lagging and unresponsive. Then it doesn't have the ability to read Google documents. Absolute waste. Then a refund wasn't offered and there was "nothing we could do". I know it's only $3 but I'd rather throw $3 out my window because then I have a chance the wind blow it back in and I'd get some if it back. read more

I rarely come to this location. And what I don't understand is if you The UPS Store, why don't you carry UPS supplies? If you need a box for shipment, you must purchase one. I'm fine with purchasing if I am not shipping 2 Day Air, but if I want a UPS box, why isn't there one available at this store. Not too crazy about their customer service either. read more

One of the secrets to a successful small business is good customer service. We have been using the the UPS Store #3835 on E Hartsel Drive for several years. The staff is always courteous and helpful. They are of course knowledgeable and experienced. But most importantly, they provide outstanding customer service. Even if the line to the counter is long, the staff does everything possible to speed things up and reduce the waiting time. Although they have some great technical gadgets and equipment to check in the packages, the personal service is what makes the difference. The guys here are beyond amazing. I can't brag enough about their friendly and kind demeanor, and awesome customer service! Shout out to Josh who helped me with not one, but two really frustrating returns to Dyson Corporate. The returns should have been a simple drop off, but turned into a nightmare, which was Dyson's fault. Josh took at least 20 minutes each time to help me correct Dyson's error and send the products back easily and simply. Do not try to arrange pickup of any packages here as they will refuse delivery even though they are getting paid by UPS to be listed as a pickup location. You've been warned. read more

We have a box here, and they are wonderful about knowing me, my husband, and my daughter by sight, and always bring us out our mail when they see us coming. They are unfailingly friendly and polite, to the extent that over the last five years, we've become casual friends with nearly everyone who works there. I needed to send two very important letters next day. I went here during my lunch break to see if it would be faster then going to the Post Office. Ordered a set of coffee mugs with my grandsons' artwork for their dad and had it sent to his place of employment (other stuff has been stolen from his apartment complex). Received a call on 12/18 telling me that UPS would probably not deliver the package since my son works for Fedex Ground. He ultimately had to go over and pick the box up! Tried to get the shipping charges refunded by UPS is now making me spend more of my time contacting the shipper. I can probably kiss those $$$ goodbye. I sell online and have learned over the past year NOT to use UPS because it seems as though nothing is ever done right, and when there's an issue, well, forget ever getting any help!
