Washed it and line dried it. The sleeve began to fray. These are not inexpensive shirts, about $100 ea. my other shirt, tan and white was fine. Took back the navy and white. Guy told me it was normal wear and tear and that I could fix it myself. Lesson learned. Only shop where they stand behind their products. We traveled to Mill Valley to the UPS store in the Blithdale shopping center. That particular UPS store uses a new stand alone computer which allows the store to select a particular country among many countries and tailors your photo to that country's specific requirements. The store's photographer, who was terrific, uses a hand held 50 mm camera and quickly snaps a photo of you against the appropriate white background. The photo is accepted and printed if it exactly meets the country's requirements. You then can bundle your required passport application with your new passport photo and ship it via UPS to your chosen country. If your chosen country happens to be Canada, we were warned to follow Canada's requirements exactly.

The honest mistake cost me 30 minutes of phone calls today between Happy Returns and Athleta. I was just at the UPS Store in the Cove and asked to ship a box using the UPS Flat Rate Service for a box under 1,728 cu in. The UPS Simple Flat Rate for that size of a box would have been $22.30. The store manager emphatically stated that UPS does not offer a flat rate service similar to FedEx and USPS.  I was in a hurry, so I did not have time to look it up. I ended up paying $48.xx + $10 insurance. This isn't a big deal, but clearly I was given the wrong information. This is a UPS store and the staff should be familiar with UPS offerings. The store should notify customers that UPS offers a Flat Rate service, allowing them to print the label online and drop off the box at your store. She is professional, cheerful and will go out of her way to be helpful. Mail is promptly in our box, we can call and ask if something has been delivered yet, saving a trip if it is not there yet. When traveling we know our mail will be safe and there when we return. We do not need to worry about packages disappearing from our doorstep, they will be safely at Travellers Mailbag. I was considering USPS, but given their current orders from the White House to intentionally slow delivery of mail, and experiencing issues with USPS every time I need to mail something as well as their lazy workers who flat out refuse to pickup outgoing mail where I live...the lamest excuse on the planet for this was the carrier claiming he is "too short" to properly check the boxes for outgoing mail. Last month I sent out my insurance bill, just to see how long it would take, the nearest sorting center is in Petaluma about a 20 minute drive one way from where I live. Due to the intentional delays, it took USPS 7 days to pickup my mail from their blue street box about a mile and a half from my home, drive it a bit over 20 miles to Petaluma, sort it and drive it back the same way to deliver my mail less than 3 miles from where they picked it up. This BS caused my payments to be late. Fortunately the business dealing with my late payment was understanding and did not add a late fee charge to my account. I'm so glad I chose UPS, they delivered the Santa Rosa packages the next day (today - Thursday). I have little doubt the Colorado package will be delivered before Monday. It used to be that USPS employees took tremendous pride in their efficiency, it did not take much to throw a wrench into that system - no thanks to greedy corrupt officials. I know UPS has had their issues in the past, I don't know about their current reputation, I just hope they continue to bring the A GAME I just experienced. The clerks were friendly and efficient even though they were clearly swamped. Thank you to all the employees who worked so hard to get my packages to their destinations within a remarkable time period to boot! I will return. A big NEW YORK raspberry to USPS!! Neither rain, nor sleet nor snow can keep them from making their deliveries, but a POS President and the head of USPS can and did taint the reputation USPS had going for over a hundred years.
