Convenient location. Lots of parking. Hardly anyone in line when I've gone. They have everything you need... Boxes, packing tape, envelopes, even last minute greeting cards to go with that late birthday package you're sending. I love that dropping off UPS packages here is so easy. If you don't need a receipt, you can simply drop off your box at the counter and they'll take care of it. Helpful workers. read more

This branch of the UPS Store always had excellent customer service. If I had any returns to go back to Amazon or having documents printed out, the staff were always extremely friendly, helpful and willing to go above and beyond. However, on my visit today, Saturday, October 15th, I've never come across two female customer service associates that actually laughed at me as I left the store without getting my large package back to Amazon. The one who seemed to be the instigator watching me as I headed back to my car to write this review. Mike the owner or the manager unfortunately wasn't around to help me with these two unhelpful staff members. I even asked if this store has changed hands etc, and I told the girls Mike was always very helpful with anything, did mentioning Mike help? Nope, it sure didn't. Fortunately for these two girls, I'm not their boss, they need understand that they are in customer service, and they are getting paid to do a job which is to help customers. You'd both be fired for giving a customer terrible attitude, and just not doing your job. That's not in your job description now is it. read more

I have been to this UPS location many times - mostly to ship items out or return Amazon items. I have never had a bad experience. The staff is really polite, friendly and upbeat! I'm not sure if the Asian man there is the manager or the franchise owner - either way - he has also always been super nice and very professional. One time, some part of their system wasn't working properly, so he took my number down and text me my shipment return confirmation receipt as soon as it was back up. Not many people follow up like they say they would (in any type of business), but he did and I really appreciated it. I would highly recommend this UPS location! read more

Just left here.. The owner Michael Chan was fantastic! He helped this novice with forwarding some emails that needed to get notarized. And he did it with a sense of urgency and professional but friendly demeanor that is sorely lacking in the customer service business these days. Do not Go here! Terrible Terrible Terrible set up! You pay TOP dollar for connivence! I needed 2 pieces scanned and emailed to me. The store has "1" Computerworld do everything on. Pay $2.50 per minute for customers, scan documents, pick up documents. Same "1" computer for employees and customers. Basically Plan on waiting if anyone else is in the store. read more

I was just at the UPS Store in Duarte. While I was assisted with no problem as usual, an elderly woman came with a few large boxes. She was assisted by a young lady wearing a mask. When the customer was asked a question the customer asked the employee to lower her mask, as she was extremely hard of hearing and needed to read her lips. The employee said she didn't want to lower her mask, which is completely understandable. I then repeated everything the employee asked, as I was not masked. I enunciated clearly to make it as easy as possible for the (now humiliated) customer. None of the other staff were masked, but no one offered to step in and help out this disabled woman. I realize all of the staff are young and may not have had to deal with this type of situation, but I think a discussion regarding helpfulness and empathy should be incorporated into your training. I will think twice about giving my business to this store, which is 10 minutes from where I live, which makes me sad. read more

Dropped off my amazon return with labels got my receipt and I'm on my way. Easy day. Nothing was blocking my way to the counter. I guess the only improvement this store can do is the repositioning of the counter. Instead of facing the glass wall it should face the door. Their signs on the door and websites say closes at 7 pm. I get there by 650 pm and they already have the gate half closed. stopped by a few weeks ago to drop off my package. the store is in a quiet plaza. The two young men at the store greet me when I enter and help me tape my package to ensure the envelope won't break. This particular UPS Store is the one I most often frequent. Primarily come here for box shipping. Upon entering, you'll also see they have a few PO Boxes. I don't find those long lines like that of the post office, always a plus. Plenty of parking in the plaza, which happens to be next to my favorite local Starbucks and Jamba Juice. read more

If I ever need to make a trip to the ups store I always come to this location in Duarte. Their customer service is the best and I never have any problems. Very helpful and fast service. What can I say, it is what it is. The service is good though the employees are not always super friendly, They get the job done. They are knowledgeable about products and shipping. Honestly, I love this place. I've been coming here for a loooooong time. And dare I say this was the ups place that restored my faith in using ups after it was broken a long time ago. Occasionally you get a customer that just sucks up the time. But its better than usps. I'm about to head over there again. Glad they have later hours to accommodate for my work schedule. read more

I came in for business-related purposes. The services I needed resulted in some "miscommunication" during form processing with a very upsetting outcome, embarrassing to both parties involved. I was rather upset when I caught it later and made sure to call them first thing in the morning. I initially wanted to proceed with a scathing indictment, though Matt and Edgar both helped tremendously with regard to rectifying the situation. They were both professional and courteous, and made the remedy quite nonintrusive to my hectic 24/7 work cycle, with callbacks to confirm the status of changes. I have to recommend the store, if not just for their great customer service that definitely feels human (vs scripted corporate). read more

So irked and annoyed. I tried to send out a package with a damaged label. They kept asking if I had another one, clearly if I did I would put it on the box. I asked them to key it in as the tracking label is still very clear just a slight defect on the barcode. Then they tried to explain that if I key it in... Then everyone has to key it in and they don't like that. So this $40 package is an inconvenient factor for the poor UPS driver because it has to spend 10 seconds keying in a barcode. I honestly hate when my returns go through UPS because I always end up with some issue, well only when I come to a UPS store. So about 15 minutes later they keyed it in after calling their manager and talking on the phone for 5 minutes about nonsense. Don't worry, I never have anything to do with my day. Will stick to the UPS store by my house. All 8 seconds it took them to key it after helping 3 customers and completely disregarding me... I will definitely be filing a complaint. I was standing at the counter and they started to help the customer after me and handed him the credit card pad AROUND me as if I wasn't standing there. Not once did the Asian lady look me in the eyes after saying OH NO WE DONT LIKE DOING THAT, THE DRIVERS ASKED US NOT TO BECAUSE THEN THEY HAVE TO KEY IT IN. Poor customer service skills. Sorry if I inconvenienced you. Should have saved a phone call and just gave it a shot. Not going to let it ruin my day but a good 15 minutes of my day was pretty sour for a 10 second transaction. read more

I came here to get a letter notarized, and there was one person in line in front of me who had brought in a huge stack of pots and pans to be shipped. The clerk proceeded to weigh every individual pot and pan, and package each one, all the while stopping to chat up another customer. After waiting nearly 20 minutes, I gave up and went to another nearby UPS store. While my experience might have been exceptional, the point of using a UPS store is convenience, which in this case was a complete fail. read more

Horrible customer service. The lady manager is very rude, she will complaint electric bill is too expensive and make you close the door every time you go in and out when dropping off multiple boxes.
