I needed to ship a UPS Ground Package for a client and did not understand why the owner could not provide me with a free UPS Ground Envelope, I had traveled nearly 40 miles to drop this package at his store and was tired. The Owner Yelled at me for not understanding and and refused to sell me a $1.69 Brown Envelope for my UPS Shipment. The clerk did sell me the envelope and then could not scan the shipment in. Now that Christmas is over and time has tempered my view of what happened...I'm still aggravated by the extremely poor "customer service" I received from the clerk working on 12.21.12 who opened the shop. Yes, the over processed, over curled, stuck in the 80's woman who had the balls and disrespect to call all the elderly folks in front of me "honey." How rude and unprofessional is that you ask? Pretty much so and I was praying that she would address me like that so I could drill her a new one. I got there a few minutes after the store opened with the intent of sending my daughter several little items that I had procrastinated in sending until 12.21. Yeah, I know, I suck. So there I stood, patiently waiting my turn until she gets to me and literally turned green when she heard what I wanted to do. Was it my fault or her bosses fault that on the last weekend before Christmas she was the only drone working?? No, I don't think so but she told me something like the following "I'm sorry, I am swamped and I can't get to your box right now, just leave your things and your cc# and I will pack it at my convenience and charge your card"...are you FREAKING kidding me? Leave you my cc# and okay and hope that you would do the right thing or not lose it? I told her I would run some errands and come back...one hour later I'm back and only three things are wrapped and she says "I'm sorry, but I've been swamped" to which I reply "But that's why I came early and stood in line for 35 minutes, so I could get my things packed, I am paying for the service right?" Shame on her store manager for leaving her alone on the Friday before Christmas, shame on this young woman for thinking that speaking to older people in a patronizing, sickeningly sweet and fake voice is the right way to treat a senior citizen and shame on her for not calling her manager/store owner and DEMANDING more help. I will never go back there...too many other places where you can get faster and better service like the Fed Ex store on Main Street and the UPS store across from the library on 2nd Ave. read more

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and use the UPS Store here all the time. Not only are their prices and service outstanding, but the owners Jeff and Malia are phenomenal. Our son is in the military and we had some issues shipping a couple packages to him (one insurance claim and one lost package - at no fault of their store). Even though the issues didn't involve their store, both Jeff and Malia went out of their way to help us file a claim and locate the mis-routed package, ultimately turning a frustrating experience into a success story. I like to support local small businesses and sometimes will put up with uncomfortable situations, just to support local small businesses. However, after a recent experience of being yelled at by the owner, who used profanity at me telling me to get out of the store, that crossed the line. Background: I placed an order with a merchant that required a signature, but knowing that I wouldn't be home during UPS' attempted delivery as was the case previously, I asked the merchant to deliver the package directly to the closest UPS store (as I would have done after receiving the ticket at my house and changing the location to a local UPS store). This UPS store received the package and when I went to pick up the package the same day, they refused to provide me my package unless I paid a storage fee of $5. After refusing to pay the fee, the owner called me a f****n prick and told me to get the f*** out of his store. The point was not the $5, but the principle of not informing a buyer of all the fees prior to making a purchase. This store chose to be combative and extremely disrespectful over $5. Long story short, customer service is not this store's forte or priority. I called UPS customer service and they were able to schedule a delivery to my house at no charge and were very apologetic stating this store owner's behavior is not representative of UPS or the rest of their employees. I will never go back to this location or recommend anyone to this store. Stay away, they're unprofessional, combative, and extremely rude! read more

I'm 25 years old and never stepped foot in a UPS let alone ever mail anything. I sold some clothes online and surprise surprise I had to ship them. So, I walk in holding a giant box and was kindly greeted by the lovely Dominique, to which I respond "hi, I have no idea what I'm doing". The level of patience and kindness this girl had despite me having no clue how to do anything was unmatched. She walked me through everything step by step and even went out of her way to resize my box to make the shipping so much cheaper!! I like giving good reviews especially to local businesses, we all can use a boost these days. I don't enjoy posting bad ones, but this is the first time I wished there were negative stars on Yelp; I don't want others having to endure the abuse and profanity my husband and I received out of the blue. This owner - Jeff? - was so lacking in propriety and good manners I actually wondered at one point if he was having a mental health melt-down: My husband was given conflicting information from this store's employees for what was needed to return an Amazon package, had to come home without delivering it, so called to make sure he would have what was needed prior to returning a 2nd time. He had it on speaker phone because his hands were full so I heard the conversation. The Owner answered and started giving him an edgy how-to; my husband responded he did that the first time and it wasn't accepted; asked him to hang on while he double-checked his box to be sure it had what was needed. The owner said "well I'm really busy I haven't got time to wait!" and my husband started to say "ok I wanted to save us all time but I guess I'll just take care of it myself" but only got as far as "ok I wanted to..." Owner went off, shot out of a cannon, barking at my husband saying "I don't like your attitude!" and worse, making no sense at all since my husband never had time to have an attitude as he couldn't get a word in edgewise. He finally told Owner "well it seems like YOU are the one with the attitude so I'll just figure it out myself and thanks for your time and have a nice day." Yes, he really did say that, figured this guy was unstable and best not to poke the hornet's nest further. Still, husband was visibly upset so I offered to return the package. I have run my own consulting business for a very long time, I consider basic respect and kindness as key to customer service, so I called and asked to speak to Owner. The woman who answered (Malia?) refused 3x to put him on the line, despite me asking politely. She responded by saying "well your husband was very COMBATIVE (she really like this word, used it about 5x) to which I responded she was in error and was inappropriate to tell me the details of a conversation she was not a party to, to which she yelled, several times, "Oh no I DO need to tell you (blah blah blah) and you can just go somewhere else we don't need COMBATIVE customers!" (hello pot? this is the kettle calling) and began yelling louder and then promptly hung up. Ok, I get one person having a bad moment, it happens to the best of us. But both being rude and unprofessional when we weren't, didn't, even accuse them of anything? I called back, Owner answered, to whom I said "you know this could all be resolved with an apology from you, just a modicum or even the pretense of respect for your customers" to which he proclaimed "your husband is a PIECE OF TRASH and you are an IGNORANT S***." I told him his behavior may prompt me to post on Yelp that his idea of customer service was disrespect and nastiness, to which he said "ha go ahead everyone knows no one takes Yelp seriously, and I have a successful business and I DON'T NEED IDIOT CUSTOMERS LIKE YOU AND YOUR ******* HUSBAND." There were a host of more insults but I lost track of them and hung up shaking, feeling like I need not be subjected to any more abuse. Did it end there? Oh heck no. HE called ME back moments later! I told him I was recording the call to which he said "yeah, whatever" and then proceed to lie and accuse us of being COMBATIVE etc. etc. to which I reminded him he had just called my husband a piece of trash and me an ignorant *** and he said " oh, no, of course didn't..." I hung up, figuring he was perhaps recording the call and that being so well-versed in such pathological behavior he was already trying to cover his tracks by pretending to be an upstanding innocent victim. Sorry guy, the cat is out of the bag and I recorded the conversation, which I have shared with the appropriate parties. What I don't understand is that it would have been so easy to just say "oops, sorry, I am having a bad day" to which I would have been totally sympathetic; after all we are all having a bad year for that matter, and a little kindness goes a very long way right now. But no, he didn't choose that option. So I choose to alert everyone not patronize these people who have such little respect for their customers who are also their neighbors and human beings. The ladies who work there always greet me with a friendly smile and make sure to get me the best shipping prices possible. They are honest and always try to help me find the best package for my needs without charging me an arm and a leg. I use their frequent shipping card to get $5 off after 10 purchases, which I normally take advantage of atleast once a month! I use them a lot for Amazon returns. One day, while dropping off returns, I gave them a package that needed postage. I had my wallet out while their clerk processed the package and set it aside with the other packages I brought in and handed me a receipt. I mentioned that I thought I was going to have to pay for it, but no comment. No problem, who am I to tell them their job, after all their trained right? A few days later, I received a curt letter stating that the "package requires postage or tracking of some sort that needs to be paid for. " and they will hold it for 10 days from when they wrote the letter and dispose of it unless I come right in. They mailed the letter the next day and it took a couple days to get to me. No problem, I went in and paid. I only problems I had with dealing with them is the snottyness of the letter and not once did they apologize for their employee's mistake that caused them to write the threatening letter and me having to make a second trip in wasting my time and money (I live 50 miles away). Otherwise, I find them adequate and will use them but will pay more attention to their employee processing my packages. read more

They can pack weird stuff too (I saw them packaging a vintage car bumper being shipped back east). They have services like Livescan, passport pictures and keys, things like that so you can take care of a lot of stuff in one place. If you need a mailbox they have them too. What I really like is that I don't have to wait in the hellish long lines at the post office anymore. Very convenient. read more

I have had some questionable experiences at the pop up mail places that I have gone to in the past. This one however has never left a bad taste AT ALL!! From the kind gestures the warm greetings (yes everytime I am greeted with that mile wide smile and a phrase of the employees choosing). As does each patron following. Acknowledging each patron making each feel welcomed extremely knowledgeable in the services they offer including how to get the best bang for your buck. Malia helped Me today and I wanted to send something over night. That would have been 65$+ delivering Monday but her overnight just left. She knows her stuff and got me the same delivery date different service for 22$. These folks are honest and the owners make sure to honor Veterans. The service is impeccable the store is clean the employees have NEVER looked like they didn't like their jobs. All around this is my go to for ANY print scan copy or mail needs. read more

The owners and team members over the years here have always been friendly and professional to me, even in the middle of the chaos of the holidays with lines out the front door to ship, and in the middle of a pandemic, when some people are not at their best. Wow, worst customer service ever! I was the only person in the store and went to the counter. The women said let me help you over here so we went to another register. She then started having a conversation with the other clerk which went on for about 30 - 45 secs (of course it seemed much longer since I was just standing there) so I said "is this is bad time?" to which the older woman replied in a not so friendly voice "just hold on." Wow, they think their conversation was more important than serving a paying customer. I picked my package up and said I'd find another store with better customer service to which they replied there was nothing wrong with their customer service. Nope, won't go there again. read more

Came in to return an amazon package, wasn't informed there would be a charge for printing out the label vs using my barcode on my phone. I stated that this was unfair seeing as the package was an amazon return and was completely paid for. The manager then said he would charge that amount in a heartbeat and had no issue with it. He then proceeded to become very agitated with me questioning the cost. I asked for his name and he yelled back "why do you want it" I asked if that's how he treats all customers and he replied back to me to "come at him"... while he became more and more verbally aggressive I proceeded to leave his store as he continued to say "come at me". He then commented "yea walk away" as I was leaving the store trying to antagonize me more. We left. I figured at this point he may throw my package in the trash since he did not provide me with a tracking receipt. Returned to the store 30 minutes later to ask for the package back or a tracking receipt at which point he acted like I was never there and had no idea who I was. He then continued to tell me that I was "threatening" although noting whatsoever happened. Filmed the rest of the interaction myself as well as what they have on their own cameras I would assume which would be great to see. Finally got my tracking receipt and left. Beware of questioning Jeff about over charging for amazon drop offs. He may get rather upset that you asked about it and ask you to " come at him". Unsure of what that request means.... read more

I was impressed with their work ethic and their quality of customer service.
