All I wanted to do was drop off my PRE-PAID packages, I did NOT want a receipt, yet the employee refused to take my packages....honestly hard to believe that they have NO drop off box for those customers that do not require employee assistance. Edit: The UPS branch got back to me and apologized for error and refunded the shipping cost for having to resend our documents because of their notarization error. We used this UPS store to notarize a car title transfer. The assistant manager, Eric, made a mistake on the notarization. he put "9" instead of the full date he was supposed to. We didn't notice and sent the document by UPS to Washington state where we were transferring our car title to our son. Our son received the document and took it to the local WA Department of Licensing office to complete the title transfer. They noticed the mistake and rejected the notarized document. I sent it UPS Ground, because it would get there in time for our son to file the document. Our son informed us of the mistake, and we went back to the UPS store to get the notarization re-done. They agreed to re-do the notarization for "free" because of their notarization mistake. How many of us would expect to pay for them to re-do their mistake? We had to send the document to our son by next day service because of their mistake notarizing the document in the first place. They refused to send it for us for free because, "the document got there the first time, didn't it?". They said it wasn't a problem with delivery. I expected them to take responsibility for their mistake. We wouldn't be shipping the notarized document a second time for $65 if they hadn't screwed up the first time. They gave us a 20% discount for a $65 shipment we should have never had to do AT ALL. Don't use this UPS store for notarization services. Their mistakes are your problem. Any negative consequences of their mistakes are your problem. They don't recognize any responsibility for making it right to the customer. That's what you get for trusting them to do the right thing. read more

Used to love this store. Would ship multiple products from here. But lately they wont take amazon packages back even though its in sturdy amazon packaging with no chance of damage. This new "dude" wants you to buy a UPS box even though it says on Amazon that UPS will go everything from pack ship and label. And this "dude" said its always like that. To this new "dude", i have shipped multiple packages from this store. I think you are new and need to learn the rules before you put down this ups business. Store seemed to be doing much better on the Amazon returns again but of course there's a new guy today that won't accept the packaging that Amazon shipped it in via UPS shipped even though there aren't any labels on it and it's their exact same package. He says UPS won't accept it which is odd because it's a UPS store in UPS packaging. read more

I came in for a pretty simple Amazon return Ali was very helpful. He took his time helping me when I couldn't figure out the return label situation I also noticed the girl working next to him (didn't see her name). She was very professional efficient and kind. "How can I help you" attitude. She valued people's time by working very fast. This type of work ethic is so rare post-pandemic and I really appreciated the service. Eric packed a very special item that was in an equally special collectors box. I was worried that it would get damaged in shipping. He went above and beyond to assure me that he would pack it properly and could guarantee its sound arrival. When he saw that it was being shipped to the east coast he first placed it a plastic bag to protect it from the moisture from their snow storm. I had to ship a package and Nora was the one who helped me ship it out. I haven't shipped from here before so she gave me all the options for boxing, stuffing and date of arrival. Nora had excellent customer service and was very sweet and easy to talk to. She also made sure to assist others while processing my transaction so there wouldn't be a lot of people waiting in the store because of Covid. Five star review. We are based in Escondido and operate a large brokerage for antique clocks. We have shipped smaller ones from UPS Store locations across the U.S. for over 24 years. Today I took in a small clock to the Auto Parkway store and asked to speak to the manager. Our process is that our clients pay for packing and shipping. The UPS Store calls them for payment once the item is packed and they know the price. Simple. The manager of the Auto Parkway UPS Store was absolutely clueless and dismissive. He was unwilling to call the client. Unbelievable! He turned away business that we took to his competitor store on E. Valley Parkway where owner Fabio accepted it without question on the spot. Fabio clearly knows how to run his business. The owner of store 7184 (Auto Parkway) needs to keep a closer eye on his business - it can't only be about accepting Amazon returns. Having run my own small business and another one of far greater size in the past it has been my observation and experience that lots of money can be spent on marketing, but if the employees are unable to turn a prospect at the front counter into a client at the front counter, the advertising and hard work by the owner up to that point has been in vain. Were I the owner, I'd consider sending a "manager" like that packing. How much other "free" business has he turned away? read more

Eric was very helpful and patient with my lengthy request and did his best to try and get me the best rate for my large international package. Ultimately I had to settle with paying more than I wanted to for shipping the box, but there was definitely a lot of effort put in trying to see if there as any way to get me a lower cost and I appreciated the effort that Eric made. Ali accused me of cutting in line. I use this location as a drop off only. I do not require services of any kind. I do not require a scan of my package at drop off. I dont enjoy being accused of cutting in line. Been shipping for several years. When packages are 100% ready to go you just drop it off. This is the same at USPS and Fed Ex. Was told by the clerk that they don't accept pre-labeled, pre-paid postal packages; they must be dropped off at the post office. When I asked why, since literally all they're doing is scanning them in, I was told the postman who picks them up complains. I had three packages. This is the second time I have been told at this location to conduct post office business at the post office. l will drive out of my way to avoid this place in the future. read more

I went to the UPS store today, trying to rush in before they closed a 7 PM. The door was closed and I was worried that I was too late by arriving at 6:59 PM. Thankfully, Ali was working and helped me with two tasks. He helped me send a shoe return, as well as send a tracked package for an important check that needed to be sent. He worked efficiently and even had time to make small talk with me about my Costa Rica jacket even though it was now past 7:00 PM.
