This is the only local UPS store I will be visiting from now on. The printing department blows staples and FedEx out of the water. After calling 3 other UPS stores, FedEx, and Staples, all of which couldn't even answer the type of printers they used (inkjet or laser), I called Fabio who was not only immediately knowledgeable on his product, but extremely helpful. I came to him with a crazy idea of making custom temporary tattoos, something I've never done before, and he greatly assisted without any judgement, which is so hard to come by as a woman who is often times doing unusual things. It is so rare that I sing the praises of a man, but Fabio has made a customer for life. Thank you Fabio! (It should be noted that I provided my own tattoo paper, that is not a product they offer, but most other places will not let you bring in your own paper- so another huge bonus here. Also, it only cost $3.50 to print two full pages of tattoos which is a steal!! You can't even get them at the store for that value, and they're custom!) read more

I am pretty sure Santa may use ups, and his elves work here! I love this UPS store!! I was able to send holiday gifts you. The gentleman at the counter, I swear he is always the one to help me, was super nice. He explains things in a way I can understand. And is patient. There are other staff members who I am sure are great, but his is my favorite!! One customer came in, who had questions about UPS Texting her, and they quickly determined it was a scam. The staff gave her great advice and a reminder that UPS will not text you, but you can opt into delivery notifications, which will alwys come from a UPS email addr (not google or anything else). I appreciated how they educated her. Professional, knowledgeable and kind. And my packages will get to my family in time for the holiday. read more

I used UPS's shredding services. RJ was friendly and professional. He gave me a dolly to cart my boxes in to shred. I thought we loaded the docs in ourselves, but they do it. He offered for me to watch him load the locked storage can they were going in. He didn't mind and understood my concern to see the job completed. I offered to do it, but he said he would. Stopped by to see if I could print out some forms for my passport and found out that they do but also they do passport pictures! I was planning on going to Walgreens or target for the pictures but I didn't have to make another trip. Talk about score! They also helped me with the documents and I would have been ready to mail it all out that day- but I didn't have my checkbook with a check for the fee so I sent it the next day. They do that here too! I love it cuz I didn't have to go across town for the post office to do all that. And the staff were all super nice and helpful. I'll be back for all the stuff here. I recently had the UPS store pack and ship an heirloom ceramic tea set for me. The packing was a little pricey but the recipient contacted me after he received the tea set and told me whoever packed it did an absolutely awesome job. With that feedback, I have no regrets in spending the money to have UPS pack the tea set...it's a one of a kind item and I would have been upset if the set arrived damaged because I tried to save a few bucks by packing it myself. read more

Best service ever!! These folk have helped me numerous time for my business and personal dealings. They recently installed a fast DIY Amazon return kiosk. Perfect! Recently I had a British Passport nightmare. I was trying to affirm my identity after living in the US 40+ years and having a name change due to marriage. Since my Oregon marriage license only required my maiden name, I did not have a document they would accept. After 3 months of sending many docs BEN in this store produced an Affidavit that was perfect. He also spent an hour getting the information perfect, printed and notarized. He made copies of everything and even stayed past closing time to finish up. Their expedited shipping to the UK was $60 cheaper than other stores I had used over those 3 months, because Ben understood the system. I felt like I was in an attorney's office with experienced professionals. My passport application was days from expiring and I have a very elderly family member in Europe I have to visit after his wife died. These folk understood the assignment. My passport is now on its way and I can't thank you enough Ben! This is one of many urgent things that we have taken to this store. I highly recommend this particular store. This is Sunday afternoon, and I have debated whether to put this on Yelp. But I feel it's in the best interest of consumers. I went to make a return of a heavy, leather, chaps to Florida. The box I was a little bigger than the product. The product rattled around a little. I was concern of the pagage busting open. Received via UPS many times on arrival the box has holes in it. The tape is torn. It's pretty much almost wrecked by the time you get delivery, I have packing tape at home but I'm use to just bring the product in the box there with all the paperwork. Job done. I did not for the first time in seven years doing business at this store did not like the customer service by Ben. I had the paperwork, he put a piece of tape on the box and it was short on both ends, not covering properly. It was a short piece of tape not adequatelysecuring the box. . Fairly intelligent I realized once UPS tumbled the box and put holes in it that tape would not hold. This is an exchange I need them to get their product so I get my product back. I asked for another piece of tape to be longer to actually cover the top of the box and the sides. He told me that that would be an extra $3.25 for a second piece of tape. You read that right so I pointed out to Ben that his piece of tape was not sufficient and why should I pay for a second piece of tape because his first tape was insufficient. Unsatisfied with paying $3.25 for one piece of sufficient tape on my box for UPS. I asked to see the owner. He is a cold about not about customers human being. I've shopped in that store for 7 years their cards which they don't have anymore so I was beginning to look for another UPS option anyway, but I told him that it was unfair that I was charged for a piece of tape to make my package adequate for shipping. Cold owner defended maybe it's his son, not needing to secure my package with one additional piece of rape. One piece of tape. I bought a roll of packing tape for 4 bucks! You lost a customer of 7 Years for $3.25. I am not interested in ever being back at that UPS store on Valley Parkway. There are other options. This store doesnt deserve my business! His attitude is the customer is not right. By the way, I did explain my position about the insufficient taping, and I needed one piece to actually secure the package. He sided with Ben who needs a customer service lesson. I paid the $3.25 but the last of my patronage! I sent this in to UPS corporate. Noting no longer women in the crew. I bought an item from Ferfetch online. It didn't fix on me, so I dropped off my package sealed with a label return on Mon Feb 13. When the package came to Miana UPS store, They emailed me: the package was damaged and empty, so the shipper (Farfecth) said they couldn't do anything and won't refund. I just double checked with ups store #5590 1507 E valley pkwy in escondido feb 24th where i dropped off my package. and I told them know the reason. THey checked the camera and they saw the guy sealed my package already, so it wasn't damaged in the store when I gave to them. Nothing wrong when I dropped off my package in the store. This is a great place to do your Amazon returns! The staff is really helpful & friendly, and they get you returns taken care of quickly (unless you're bringing in 18 of them, then that's your fault). It's located on the edge of the Albertsons parking lot, in a not busy section. I went to make a routine Amazon return as I do at least once a week. I never go to this UPS. The owner told me she couldn't take my package as it didn't have a label. I have never printed a label always have it scanned from my phone. She blamed it on Amazon and tried to get me to pay for packaging! Stay away!!! They will not talk about the necessity of insuring packages. They lost a $3000 item and feel they can wipe their hands clean because they neglected to offer insurance. I am a single mom and can NEVER replace that item. They are doing absolutely nothing meaningful to help me. Stay away from this location. Stay away from UPS in general if you can.
