Again, this store and its employees never fail to disappoint. They are unfriendly, unhelpful and lack any human empathy. There are two kiosks in the front of the store for returns for Amazon packages. They will not let you come to the counter, although one of the kiosks were broken and not usable and the line for the kiosks were 10 people long. People were leaving the store because they didn't want to wait in line. However, the line to go to the counter was less long with three people, serving customers! They would not let you go in that line if you were returning an Amazon package This Store should close and be ashamed of the way they treat customers ! read more

I travel all along the East Coast and frequently use the UPS franchises for shipping products and documents and find the Estero Tamiami location to be friendly and organized . The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous and the two Amazon return kiosks are a great time saver. Having spent most of my career around packaging and shipping I don't believe the public ,in general, appreciates the complexities of transporting the 1000's of items that we ship everyday and of course expect them to arrive safely . I recently noticed this store has a recording on loop every time someone enters or exits the store they want you to self service for amazon returns and prepaid UPS labels. This self-service was covered up and I went to the counter as only 2 people were in line. When I got to the counter, the clerk was mad that I had her print me a receipt and stated that they would NO longer assist customers with prepaid labels or returns. The clerk was extremely rude and threw my package on the ground. I would not recommend doing business with this location. They don't want customers!!!!! Worst customer service!! read more

I'm still shaking from my experience there. From the moment I walked in the energy was terrible. I had many Amazon packages to return. She told me if I didn't have everything ready. I need to move aside because it's not fair to other people and I asked her if I should just leave. My hands were literally shaking at how I was treated step-by-step. Zero customer service . The lady there was so rude. I bought the tape from the store and than the lady was throwing me outside to tape my boxes in a very rude manner and her coworker was just staring. Worst customer service ever! Also they are sending everyone to the kiosk without even helping. I'm not understanding when no body at the store and customer reaches their counter why can't they help at the counter, and also the way they send customers back to the kiosk is so rude. Using new technology (kiosk) doesn't mean being rude to customers. Vice versa it should mean improving customer service with customers. read more

We stopped in to this UPS store to ship a bunch of souvenirs home. We were quickly waited on and out the door in a few minutes. Gals behind the counter did an awesome job packing our souvenirs. Nothing was broken when we received the box later in the week. read more

It has taken me a full year to process and decide whether to write this review. We are all human and everyone has their moments. That being said, my one and only visit to this location, and this has never happened to me before IN MY LIFE, I almost had an altercation with the older (she was gray haired, somewhat frail, definitely 60+ or wildly unhealthy) staff member that worked the desk there. I can only hope she has been fired since then, and it is that hope that gives me courage to write this review because I would never want someone to be fired because of me but omg if she treated me this way I'm sure she treated someone else as well. Worst experience of MY LIFE...ANY kind of establishment. I wanted to ship a drop off package. I showed her the package, and she SCREAMED at me that they don't accept USPS (they do at every other location in 5+ states I've been to UPS stores). I questioned if that were true, and she continued to yell at me that they don't accept it and flailed her hands at me while yelling "GET OUT"!!!! In order to avoid a fight I ran away to my car. My favorite UPS! I know each employee by name and they know me. They have always been so kind and helpful. I will always come back here. They do their best with every customer and always get it right! All the negative reviews seem to be from people who have no patience and weren't taught how to wait their turn or come back later if it's not quick enough for them. I absolutely dread coming here. Always slow. Never friendly. The only reason why I do come here is because I'm forced to by Amazon. Having to come here to return an Amazon package makes me rethink buying from Amazon so that I don't have to come here. I use UPS to for pretty much all of my shipping needs. Not once have I ever been charged for tape let alone a single piece. But at this location they insisted on charging the "minimum service desk fee" quote of two dollars for a piece of tape just because I simply forgot to put it on before visiting the store. The man helping me how to smug look on his face when he told me that or suggested that I could "buy a roll from the wall". I understand and I probably just gotten the better end of the deal in my previous experiences at other stores but I just found this unfathomable to pay two dollars for a single strip of tape, they didn't even see him put on before leaving! read more

Just like all the other reviews indicate, terrible service. I went in to drop off a box and just wanted a receipt. The clerk acted like I had murdered his mother and needed help moving the body. He pointed to the drop off bin and indicated that's where I should dump it next time and to not bother asking for a receipt. He said it's because Christmas is approaching and the store will get busy soon. There were no other customers in the store when he was lecturing me on how I was wasting his time. I will pay extra from now on to have UPS pick up my return boxes or utilize FedEx. If the employee I'm talking about is reading this, dude, you should really just kill yourself if you hate your job that much. Life is too short to be this miserable. I certainly won't subject myself to this store again. EDIT: I had to go to the FedEx down the road to drop off more packages and they offered me a receipt with a smile. Apparently per the FedEx store, UPS stores are franchises and this UPS store in particular has a terrible reputation locally. So to the owner of this UPS store, congrats! Quick and easy to use. But not friendly at all. Every time I stop here the employees look unhappy. I wouldn't say they are "rude". Borderline, but definitely not friendly or welcoming. AVOID THIS LOCATION - Useless location for UPS Services. Had a package delivered there for a student to pick-up as a UPS Access Point. Because the student was not a "paying customer" at this particular location, they attempted to strong arm the student into a yearly contract in order for them to accept the package. They threatened to "return the package to sender" unless the student paid up today even though the package was on the back counter. As an "agent" of UPS you'd think they would hand the package over and say "normally we require...."or "we don't normally accept...." Here's a novel idea - just do the right thing then upsell you services by mentioning "btw we also do binding & presentation folders" next time your in" and create a future customer.....This store is managed by d-bags and operate like thugs with ZERO integrity and even less business sense. Review the majority of ratings and you'll see this as well. If you have to ship to Estero area, use anyone else. If horrible service and strong arm tactics is what your looking for - this is certainly the place for you. read more

What a joke! I took an Amazon return in with a pre printed label having already paid for the shipping. The clerk told me it would be a $2 charge. I asked for what and she said that the box wasn't closed! So she wanted to charge $2 for 12" of tape! Shame on you!!! Good thing there are many other UPS locations and shipping option. I have never had such a hard time returning a package than I did at this location. They tried to blame that the box was too heavy for the driver to lift into the truck and they wouldn't take it. They delivered it without issue to my house but I guess that doesn't matter. In my opinion the staff just didn't want to deal with a heavy box in their small space. They told me to take it to another UPS store down the road in San Carlos, which I did and will be taking my packages there from now on. I have called and make a formal complaint with UPS franchise headquarters as well they need to pull this locations franchise. This place should not be allowed to use The UPS Store brand name they are a disgrace! But the people at the San Carlos location are very grateful to you for sending people their way. Without a doubt the rudest, ignorant employee I have come across in years. I needed to have a document notarized and took a witness with me. My attorney said the Notary in FL can also be a witness by signing on the witness line. This employee refused and told me to come back at 1:30. She was very belligerent and when I tried to tell her different she told me to get out of her store And to come back later. I told her I would never set foot in this store again. I went 2 miles north and had the usual great UPS experience. Avoid this store at all costs. Terrible people that drive customers away. read more
