I went in to return an Amazon package and they charged me nearly $7 for a box and the tape that they needed to seal and package it. The woman that took my package walked away from me and I waited there for 10 minutes for her to come back so I could pay for her highway robbery. Very unprofessional management, very unprofessional staff. When asked by another customer why he had to pay for the tape to seal his box when Amazon listed it as free- the managers response was "I am not UPS; I am a UPS store." In that respect it is my professional and personal opinion that we let this "UPS store" close and choose to take our business elsewhere. read more

I was dropping off my Apple Watch to get fixed and the email from Apple clearly states "Take your product to The UPS Store and show this email to the representative. Your repair ID should be available in the UPS system within an hour of the time you requested service, but it could take up to 24 hours. If UPS has no record of your Repair ID, please wait until the 24 hour window has elapsed before you try again. " I made sure to show up 24 hours after I did my return with Apple. She wouldn't even give me a chance to explain and give her the repair ID before she started freaking out me telling me "sorry can't help you if you don't have a code" the manager was just sitting in the back just watching this woman be rude in front of a busy store. It's a shame that zero ratings couldn't be given. Sign states open at 830a. I arrived at 9 and stayed until 915a and they never arrived. Can back in to evening at 515p and they have a sign stating they'll be back at 6p. This place is a joke and a shame to the UOS franchise. There are multiple reasons for the fact that this store has all 1 star reviews out of 5. Bad customer service, employees who don't know wha they're doing, and they don't have Wifi, so if you want to access a shipping label from your phone, you have to go outside the door to get Internet access. Eve the surprisingly gorgeous Brazilian American owner of this tiny store has, we feel the NUMBER ONE BEST customer service in the entire GREATER BOSTON area . We discovered her about three years ago by accident and count our blessing in our great luck in having her outstanding dedication and quality of service all these years. NO other store will put in the long long hours that she does even on Saturdays. No one packs fragile items so meticulously with NO breakage nor problems . NO one has her warm sincere personality, great laughter and patience like her ! She has a grown lovely son who is the center and great pride of her life and is always attentive to the lives of each and everyone of her long loyal customers . She has boundless energy and a brilliant alert memory and mind. It is so refreshing to work w someone not only gracious but also EXTREMELY professional and competant!!!!!! Wish I could give negative stars. All of the 1 star reviews you're reading here are 100% accurate - the woman who manages this store is, quite frankly, a despicable employee and, I'd go so far as to say a despicable human being. I have had a handful of encounters with this creature. She has been inexplicably rude, dismissive, unintelligible, argumentative, and just downright a useless waste of space. Of course, the nail on the coffin was when I came to pick up my print order: 1 measly sheet of paper that I needed. She said the computer didn't work. Then why did I receive a confirmation that my order was ready? Then she started absolutely screaming at me for "not standing behind the line" ?!?! There was no line on the floor or anywhere! Here we are, 6 feet apart, in masks, separated by plexi-glass and the only people in the store, and she suddenly starts screaming at me while I ask her what to do about my order. After leaving the store without a resolution, I then spent 20 minutes on the phone with UPS "representatives" - I have never spoken to such incompetent people in my life. You have got to be kidding me! Where to start.... 1) opened up 45 min late! We sat in the car waiting and watching at least 6 people try to get in only to leave or to the Post Office down the street. She refused to ship for me, I was told I could not use my phone in the store, when I kept the info of the recipient in my phone. While standing outside waiting for the cops, spoke to a regular customer. He said that last time he was there she snatched a package from him. This lady is obviously on edge from the virus, but she is mistreating customers because of her unease. After her friend walked out, she motioned me to come in, which I did - only for her to wave someone else in, like I was invisible. Do not use this store. Shipped an expensive gaming chair ($1500+) with them. The chair arrived with half the chair missing. We sent it to the inspection site for the claim process. The claim was refused because they lied and said we packed it (they packed it in the store). We asked for the package back so we can fix it ourselves, and was told we need to contact the store to get the item returned. Since we already moved to another state, we tried continuously to call them and email them and they never pick up. They would just leave the phone hanging if you call too many times. Asked UPS to also call them and email them and still no response. Apparently Corporate UPS also has no way to get in touch with them or enforce any penalty. The only suggestion UPS customer service can give us was to ask us to fly back to the location and knock on their door. So ridiculous! Truly a poorly managed and poorly enforced company. And now we are being told the item does not exist anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if these frauds took the chair for themselves and fixed it for their personal use. read more

No one ever working there despite hours being posted. A total waste of time and space. What a joke.

If I could give zero stars I would. I arrived at 8:50 a.m. wearing a mask as the sign instructed me to but the door was locked. A customer was inside and I knocked but the owner wouldn't open the door. She escorted the customer to the door to leave, locked the door and walked away not letting me in. When I knocked on the window she threw her hand up in the air without even turning around and didn't provide an explanation. I wasn't sure if the store was open, there's no sign stating one customer at a time or anything other than to wear a mask. I knocked several times and then she let a man in to pick up his package. I called the store and left a message stating I was waiting outside and wanted to know why I wasn't allowed in. She called the police because I wouldn't leave and the two Everett officers told me they are called to this store all the time and have repeated complaints about her. I was told that "she plays favorites but because she owns the store there's nothing anyone can do but to notify UPS of her behavior." I did nothing other than go to the door and when she wouldn't let me in I wanted an explanation. Again, according to Everett Police this is what she does and they told me to notify UPS and to never use her store. I didn't get my package and I wouldn't ever go back. These people freaking suck! Yeah that is about all you need to know about this store. They seem to specialize in crappy attitudes and horrible customer service. I used the one in Cambridge and Boston and next time I'm sticking with them. Last year I went in there to ship a package the details are fuzzy but the lady was rude to me, ignored me, than had the nerve to cop a major attitude. . I called about a package that was shipping to my Mom's house. In the past when they haven't been dropped off cause no one was home, I've gone and picked them up in the store other times they been return to the factory. So I called to find out if I could pick up the package, I'm pretty sure this was a different lady as she had an accent and the other one did not. I didn't even manage to ask my question before she interrupted to tell me she had nothing to do with things being shipped from other places, she was loud aggressive and rude from the first moment she picked up the phone. Another thing this isn't your personal cell phone lady, the basics of customer service should mean you pick up the phone identify yourself, store name, then ask how you can help, versus answering with a HELLO! I was confused and I had to ask is the UPS store, because I thought I dialed the wrong number. I finally had enough of this lady rambling on and screaming into my ear, so I said a quick goodbye and hung up. I can't deal with this level of incompetence. Just no, don't go, don't call, find another store that values it's customers and has employees that follow common sense and the very basics of customer service.
