I never have written a review before, because I believe that if a business consistently does something wrong, then other customers will have a similar experience as mine, and people will eventually stop using that business. However, today, I feel compelled to write a review. It was finally my turn to be helped. But, Sean, the manager/owner said to the lady behind me, "You have only one package.", and started helping her instead. I had three items, but I just had to drop them off. I waited in line, because I wanted to have a drop-off receipt. Sean had to get the lady's box ready for shipping, because, in his opinion, it wasn't ready even though the lady said, that wasn't the instruction she got from the company. The lady ended up paying for the service. Then it was my turn. While Sean was scanning my QR code, he complained to me that I have two items and one QR code for them. He said I must have one QR code for every single item although they all go to the same place. (Two items were clearly listed under the QR code that I showed him.) I asked Sean why he helped the person behind me first. He simply said, "It is a different transaction." I knew that it was a different transaction which took a lot longer than mine. His answer didn't provide any sense. Was Sean going to help another person first again if anyone walks in with one item? I told him that customers should be helped in order in line. As I walked out the store, I heard Sean scoffed at me and said to his staff, "All Amazon customers are like that." He is a grumpy old man who doesn't admit his own fault. He likes to make his own rules and impose them to customers. I won't go there again. read more

I called the store close to closing with urgent notarizations that needed to be done, and Sean was so kind and understanding of my situation. I got to the store five minutes before closing, and Sean patiently went through each one of the documents I needed with such care and thoroughness, and he ended up staying until the job was done well after closing. If there were a review less than 1 star I would have given this store that. The owner and the employee named, Justin, offer horrible service. Even if they are available they would insist that you go to the self service area. Their self service place does not have a portable scanner so if you have a big package to return it becomes awkward. Moreover, once you are done scanning they don't have clear instructions on where to put your package in a secure place. In order to avoid this confusion I went to the person who was available and he sarcastically reminded me to read the self service sign. As I was struggling to get my big package scanned another employee of the store started ranting to another customer how people are not in the habit of reading signs. My luck that customer was equally pathetic and both of them kept on going about how people don't read signs making sure that they were loud enough to be heard, making me feel uncomfortable. I would rather drive farther than be mistreated by incompetent people. read more

Always very helpful. Even when it's busy the owner try's to make it hassle free and get me in and out quick which makes it my go to place whenever I have a package to send or Amazon return. Highly recommend. read more

Clean and organized space. Sean is the owner of the ups store and always greets each customer with a hello or welcome. He has an interesting backstory of immigrating to America and starting from the bottom up to buy this store and be his own boss. It's inspiring. A really nice and efficient guy who gets the job done. I don't know why there's so many bad reviews when the process is simple; pack your stuff, tape your stuff, slap on the return label, drop off to ups, get a print receipt and then disappear like a ghost. They must have lots of unhappy customers because there's a sign that says something along the lines of "if you think you can do our job better, you should apply". Today i went to store and return the item from Amazon. That guy is asking my to take the screen shot of the bar code and ready to show immediately. I told him i have total 8 items he is telling me go to the corner of the UPS store take screen shot of each bar code. Really? Horrible. He is making every one life horrible. Just because of him i sat in my garage and put it in the right order of each item so that i can return it faster in UPS. But still i had horrible experience. I never ever go back this UPS store again. If any one looking for better service please don't go this location. I am not sure if that guy is working working or he is the owner... But over all this place is horrible. I am noticing this for more than year.. Don't waste your time!. Don't spoil your day by going there!!! So i went to other UPS store near me that was great experience!!. They gave me the coupon for notary as well!!!. I will always go that placeeven if it takes few more miles longer!!!. I come to this UPS often for a variety of services: Amazon returns, shipping, notary, all kinds of stuff. The person that helps me is usually Sean. He's very nice and professional. He takes his time to make sure everything is correct, especially on notaries, which I appreciate. But the reason I like this UPS store the most is because Sean goes above and beyond. I had to next day air some documents. Unfortunately the documents arrived 2 days instead of 1. Sean contacted the end-of-line shipper to see what happened, and submitted a claim for me to get a refund on my shipping! I didn't even ask him to do this. He called me to let me know he had done this. You just don't get customer service like that anymore! read more

This is quite possibly the worst UPS store in California. I have never experienced such bad service. If you're trying to do an Amazon return, this guy makes it virtually impossible. If you box it, there's a problem if you're trying to send it back in the same packaging that Amazon has sent it in its a problem. I would like to commend Sean at the UPS Foothill Ranch location. I arrived at 6:35 with three large Amazon returns that I needed to get out. Store closed at 6:30 but Sean opened the door took my boxes and gave me the e-mail address so I could send the QR codes. I went to this UPS store for a LiveScan fingerprinting and it was very easy and fast. I called to make an appointment and they had many openings that same day. I always have a great experience at this UPS location. I send packages for UPS and USPS, return Amazon items when needed, and I even renewed my passport and took passport photos for my whole family. Had the most unpleasant experience. In the past the staff have been overly accommodating-unfortunately this time was not the same, and by the manager nonetheless. Had a simple Amazon return. They charged me for taping the box shut (not even a box I bought there, but one I had brought there). The manager also asked that my boyfriend remark his truck so that he was lined up properly in the parking lot-so unnecessary. Needless to say, there are plenty of other option for shipping and will definitely be supporting those places rather than this location. read more

I visit this UPS store frequently sometimes once a week to return Amazon packages. Most times there is no line. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and patient. Terrible customer service when it comes to Amazon returns. Had about 4 returns with the 'do not box or label' option given by Amazon. The person helping me grumbled the entire time about how ups is not Amazon and they have a lot to do in the back and can't process Amazon returns all day. Note that there was no one in the store and when I came in and the person was wiping down the counters and did not remotely seem to be busy or have 'a lot to do in the back'. I wish I read these reviews before I went there, this place has horrible customer service. The first time I was there to drop off a package I was returning (not amazon). I have never done this so I didn't know what was needed. The older gentleman Sean proceeded to lecture, not tell me but lecture, me about what I had to do for next time. I thought, ok maybe he's just having a rough day because it was quite busy. I gave them and him the benefit of the doubt. I went back today to drop off another return (bot amazon) and 3 amazon packages. I did as he initially instructed for the nonamazon package but apparently I should have taped the label better because it could tear (he proceeded to show me by tearing a piece off the return label). Next he started to ask me why I sealed the amazon bags and now he has to open one up and put 2 items together since they share the same label. I said I thought it was what I had to do. He then proceeded to lecture me again about how to do things and as he was lecturing me he was slamming the lavels on my items and pretty much letting me know how displeased he was to help me out. Made me feel pretty embarrased, but as I was walking away I realized, maybe he just needs to do a different job and not be in the front. If he owns this place then maybe hire more people and just be in the back office. Anyway, I think I'll look for a different UPS store next time. read more

This store is patronized often. It has accessible location with easy parking. The host Sean is seasoned hand in it being friendly and professional. He can always provide advices with effective solution to what I asked for! We also shared stories in one of the occasions. I absolutely liked how Sean helped me with the notary service today. I tried to enter the UPS store right when they were closing. I was probably there a minute or two after their closing time (3 PM). They let me in even though it was past 3 PM and it was really nice of them to help me notarize a document. Sean was extremely friendly as he was carrying out the service. I come here.. A LOT. And interact with Sean every time, he is great. Even if there's a line I'm usually in and out less than 5 minutes he takes care of everyone quickly while still providing great service. I see a lot of posts of people complaining about TAPE. Go to the dollar tree and get yourself your own roll, it shouldn't be UPS' responsibility to tape up everyone's items for FREE, this is a BUSINESS. All these people saying "it's just one box" ok well multiply that by the surplus of people who use that excuse, it adds up. Scott, the manager, was speedy and helpful with our shipping and getting us checked in for the notary service. And Sean, the public notary, was courteous and humorous, cracking jokes here and there and giving us helpful tips and overall, livening up our day! Yes, we had to wait a bit for Sean to be available, but they are a small staff. And he was just trying to answer any questions and concerns of his current customer. They are trying to make sure that each customer is given sufficient time and a satisfied experience rather than trying to rush customers and maximize profit over service. Not all retail people only care about money. The best ones care about genuine human interaction and building a relationship, business and/or personal. If you don't like that or just want a robot kiosk, then go somewhere else. I will definitely come back for future services. read more
