I have spoken to over 8 USPS employees/managers with no help at all. Once I put in another request for help with my situation, I had the nicest, kindest, understanding man call me back from Ft Carson, I hope I spell his name right (Hendrick) because he needs to be recognized for his kindness and understanding. He helped me more than any USPS employee I have spoken to in a month. He went through every tracking review until we found the problem. Though we did not find my son's package yet (Prayers we do) he actually cared about what I was going through as military mom and veteran wife. I can't say I've physically been inside this Post Office on Fort Carson but I have called a few…read moretimes on the phone an every time I have called I've always gotten a postal worker to answer within 3 rings , not only were they professional, polite knowledgeable they answered the phone the tracking service was second to none , try the branch on west 8th , good luck getting those folks to answer the phone over there I called on a Tuesday 5 minutes after they opened , 5 times I tried in a few hours to this day haven't gotten them to answer a phone , go there to mail letters & parcels or to pickup my mail when the out source delivery boneheads can't figure out how to deliver my packages ! So considering all around service I am always satisfied to present day.

The business appears to be family owned, and they've got a litany of other services I wouldn't hesitate to ask for, if needed. When I asked the attendant (who identified herself as Silva) if I could use their pack-and-ship service since the item wasn't boxed, she curtly replied, "Ma'am, this is UPS, not Amazon. Everything must be in a box" -- without ever mentioning that pack-and-ship was an option, even though it's a service they offer. I left to get a box and returned within 10 minutes to package the item myself. While I was gone, my friend, who stayed behind with the item, told me she overheard Silva and another employee talking about me. When I mentioned this to Silva directly, she responded with a scrunched, passive-aggressive expression and a curt "have a good day." As I was walking out, I heard further comments from the employees behind me. Separately, we were directed to dispose of packing material in a dumpster around back that was in poor, unsanitary condition. I've returned items at UPS Stores many times without issue -- this is the first time I've experienced this level of unprofessionalism from staff. I'd recommend choosing a different location if you're in the area.

We were told the trailer we rented would be long enough for hauling the truck we needed moved. This truck does not have an engine, so it was not a quick and easy thing to attempt. When the trailer was returned and they were told that they were WRong and it did Not work they refused to issue a refund. Their employees need to know what they are talking about or Admit they don't know. And if they are WRong they need to correct it!
