This review is about notary services. Be forewarned that this store charges a $15 "clerical fee" in addition to the notary charges. State law only allows a $5 notary fee (often per signature) and requires that any additional charges be listed separtely. The charge was listed separately, so they're doing everything legit, just charging a lot for it. Had I gone to the UPS store near Pearl Harbor I would have paid $5 instead of $20 (plus tax) to have one document notarized, or free at my credit union. That's obviously on me for that mistake, which I won't make again. I currently rent a mailbox at a different UPS store and was going to switch to this location but not now. I get the notary service fees are set very low by the state, but that's why stores should offer it at least as a sign of good customer service, and why I see it as a bad sign when considering using this store for other services. read more

I use this store regularly. Don is always very helpful and pleasant. He always makes sure to find the best rate for everything, which varies between USPS, UPS, and FedEx depending on the package size, weight, and destination. He also helps with printing, copying, and laminating. There is parking in the back. read more

I rarely write yelp reviews but I do have a wonderful review of this store. I had purchased a hard to ship item from a local shop that I needed delivered to the mainland. Melanie, the store owner, was very helpful and offered to package the item and ship the item to my home. However, this particular wood piece had too much stain on it and wasn't fully dried (which wasn't her fault), that resulted in the item sticking to the packaging. However, she worked closely with the local shop to take back the item (twice as the replacement unit had the same issue). Eventually, we got a good product and Melanie even sent a lovely little gift for the "trouble" it caused me. She provided wonderful service and was very helpful in resolving an issue that wasn't necessarily her fault. It was well appreciated by me and Mahalo for the above and beyond! read more

I arrived just as the store was closing. The tall bald man was counting the money in his register. He did not acknowledge me so I lightheartedly asked," long day?" His response was, "that door should have been locked." Not a very good way to make you customers feel welcomed or appreciated. I would gladly use fed ex or USPS to avoid dealing with this grumpy nasty man again. read more

I wanted to comment on my experience here. I came in Monday evening Jun 18th. I had called several companies about my packaging and shipping need and everyone else said they could not do it. I called this UPS store and they said they could so I went there. I could not have been more pleased. This store had exceptional customer service! I brought in a shelving system which I needed to box to ship with very specific dimension requirements. The 2 guys working there went out of their way to package it for me while I waited. While they were doing my job, people came in and out of the store for various things and they were just as gracious and helpful with everyone. Cannot recommend them enough. I got fantastic service at this UPS store. I got a temporary mailbox because I was leaving Hawaii. USPS screwed up one of my packages and rather than getting it to me on the Mainland, they sent it back to my mailbox at this UPS store. The box had been destroyed. Matt, the owner of this UPS store, repackaged my box and sent it right away, arriving in only a couple of days. None of my items, including electronics and important papers, were missing. I hate when people make reviews like this but this time I think it's necessary. I arrive to this UPS and see an unoccupied printer. I started using the printer then an employee with the name of Jainnet (I probably got the name wrong but the spelling is similar) yells from across the room. She then proceeded to tell me I cannot use that printer but in the most rude way possible. I was so confused so I just stood there for about 30 seconds. After the 30 seconds she then said I could use it so I finished up printing. She then goes and helps another customer and starts talking to her. I don't know if she was talking about me but I heard the word "stupid" come out of her mouth". I finish printing and then walk over to pay. I was paying then I remembered I had to photocopy something. I asked her if I could and still in the rude tone she asked if I wanted it to be double sided. She also wasn't wearing a mask in a time like this. The room was quite busy and she was putting everyones lives at risk. I paid and left and will never be returning. read more

The only reason I give this UPS one star is because I would like people to see the gravity of this comment about poor customer service. The only good things are the free parking in back (given the the location of this UPS store), & the transaction was super quick with no wait this morning. I show up at 8:30am to drop off my text book rentals to send back to Amazon, & I walk in with a small box and a single package. As soon as I walk in the tall hairless guy doesn't make eye contact with me, then points to the scale and comma da me to "set them down right there." I said "good morning, how are you," I received no response. Already a bit agitated now, I set the books down on the scale, upon which at this time he asked if I needed a receipt. I replied no, and then he said "There you go." That was the entire conversation verbatim and he never made eye contact once. It kinda pissed me off. Otherwise I wouldn't be writing this review at 8:43am on my summer break! read more

I guess I caught the employee on the wrong day. I went in to send a fax and ended up picking up some random items. The man working looked pissed off and never once cracked a smile. I actually felt uncomfortable. No one else was in the store, so it wasn't like he was overwhelmed. I don't expect people to be rainbows and daisies, but there is something to say about customer service and 'faking' appreciation, if needed. This UPS store is so close to where I live (walk-able) but I'll jump in my car next time and drive 4 miles to Office Depot. Bummer. read more

So there was a tall bald man working, he was the only one who seemed to be there. Extremely unfriendly, and very unhelpful. He asked me if I was shipping the items I had in my hands, and I said yes, one box I needed a shipping label for, and the other I actually have a UPS account number for. Instead of just saying, oh I'm sorry we actually don't accept ups account numbers, they will have to send you a shipping label, he says, well I can't do that for you. I can't just have it shipped with an account number. You to to have them send you a shipping label. (He was just so rude about it) So then he directed me to the computer to have me print my shipping label, and pressed the guest login but was of no help after that. (The other ups store I had been to a few weeks prior, the girl actually gave me the store email, and she printed it out for me. maybe their policy is different, but regardless he had no desire to be of any help.) So I figure it out and pressed print, well he rudely tells me my paper printed on a specific printer in the front of the store, so I was like oh okay... I exit out of my email and log off to get back to the guest login page (where it was when I initially got on in the first place.) Well another woman goes to use the computer, and the screen was black, and he looks over at me and in a scolding tone says, "did you turn off the computer or something?" He talked to me like a was some sort of idiot, or was stupid. He said it with such attitude, that I couldn't believe that he was in any type of customer service. I told him, no I didn't, I logged out. All the computer was doing was resetting itself back to the login page and 5 seconds later it was back to where it should be. I have not had that bad of a customer service experience in a very long time. I will never go there again because he made me feel so uncomfortable. read more

I tried shipping my international package online, but the cost was more than what I was charged by this UPS store so I cancelled my online transaction. Further, prior to going to this UPS store I went to two other UPS stores to inquire about shipping and no one was as knowledgeable as the person who helped me at this UPS store (Kapahulu).
