Absolutely horrible workers. Will not help any elderly patrons. The two posing girls do absolutely nothing except stand and pose and take selfies. When I finally got to even look towards the counter. Her response was, " Can't you read English. It says to SCAN in your own packages. Print them and do your own work!" Then she went back to posing. I gave this place another chance but this is it. It's all in black and white... I simply just needed copies of some documents that we were told to do so as an advice and took it and headed to a place that I've passed several times is this FedEx location right across from Ala Moana Center in the Heald Building which is nice as they have lots of free parking making easy access with just steps to their front door. Walking into this spacious place you see many shelves of supplies, ship and go center and right beside the entrance are several copiers which is probably the most used services and is very cool how it's all set up for you to use on your own. You first can add funds to the machine with your credit card as you calculate the approximate amount you will be using and will be calculated at the end of the acutely amount is quite impressive and very easy to use though my first attempt was fail by placing it in the wrong direction lol but at least it's not a huge costly error but one that I learned very fast and with just a few copies needed I was done just as fast to be on my way but loved the convenience they provide as I did have a copier in the past which came obsolete as technology has changed though every once in awhile we do need to some hard copies of items to keep on hand for reference is good to have places like this to use for very little cost. Went first thing in the morning and looked liked we were one of the first customers. They are located right on Kapiolani Blvd. right next door to the old Walgreens location. The store is very spacious. There was only one person working, at least that's all we saw, not very customer friendly and mumbles when he talks. Everything is pretty much self service so if you're new, don't go to this location, we normally go to the one of Waialae, across City Mill, they could use more employees but so far everyone has gone above and beyond in terms of customer service. The prices are a little higher than USPS but for deliveries in 2 days sometimes even 1, it's worth the price. haven't tried other locations but it all depends where we are at the time. read more

From the moment I walked in, the employee who looks like Vince Vaughn was on the phone, and no one else was available to help. After waiting a while, he finally came over to assist me. I needed to ship keys overnight to Denver. While I was filling out the form, he went back across the room, got on the phone again, and stayed on the call even longer than the first time. When he eventually returned, his excuse was that he was waiting for me to get off the phone. That was frustrating and insulting because I had only taken a quick call, hung up right away, and was just waiting for him to come back while scrolling on social media. I then asked if their prices were comparable to UPS, and he responded with another rude remark. At that point, I was so fed up that I grabbed my friend's keys and left for UPS instead. As I was walking out, he sarcastically said I could keep the mailing envelope "as a courtesy." When I told him he'd been rude to me from the moment I walked in, he got quiet and gave a half-hearted apology. UPS ended up being $30 cheaper for the same shipment. Aloha, I just got off the phone after speaking with someone named Greg, and I have to say--I'm really disappointed with the experience. I called in with a simple question and was met with an unprofessional and unhelpful attitude that left me genuinely surprised. Customer service is one of the most important reflections of any business. When someone answers the phone, especially as the first point of contact, they should be able to offer not only answers but a little warmth and aloha too. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. I don't understand why individuals choose to work in customer-facing roles if they lack the skill set--or basic courtesy--that the position requires. I didn't call in a complaint the first time this particular employee was rude to me - but when I came in today and heard him being short and aggressive with an elderly customer who was having trouble reading him a number - I had to call. He was SO rude to this man - because he didn't know the specific dimensions of the box he needed. The man ended up leaving - no purchase. This guy is running customers out of the store. To top it all off - he was listening to a football game on full volume. I almost went to another location - specifically to not have to deal with this person. It's the same guy that everyone has posted negative reviews on. For years it looks like - I can't fathom why FedEx hasn't addressed this. Thad was incredibly patient and helpful with me, especially when we had a bump in the road on locating the 2 pages that we'd just sent to a folder that then could not be found. Apparently my iPhone has some quirks that I don't think he'd seen before, but he didn't give up and eventually the documents were found and printed out. He so easily could've said I'm sorry, I don't know what else to do, but he persevered and was so darned polite, patient, and nice to me, and for that I was very grateful. I has some important documents to print out. Now, you know how it's is when your printer cartridge starts bleeding a red color on the document edges and not pristine clean? My backup is FedEx copier. However, the copier froze on me. In a rush, you want it to operate and move forward. Well, my patience got the best of me and a Newbie inexperience individual is going to give all the reasons why it's not working like not a PDF. I told him that I do Word product and always work at king Street. Can I have someone who can reset the printer? He got Nick and he knew that I know it needs resetting. Onward!!! Success!!! Great front staff. Attentive, knowledgeable and POLITE. After receiving the proper attention a few more customers into the store. The man I assume dressed in gray is the GM, approached the front end ( staff side)and he did the following Word for Word. GM What going on? Staff were so busy they didn't hear him, so I politely replied that We were taken care of the gentleman behind us was next. He rolled his eyes did not welcome me to his store nor thank me for answering his question. He then approached the elderly man waitingAnd asked about his package the gentleman replied he will get to the counter and the GM replied well it's up to you doesn't make a difference to him. He then just walks away from all the customers in the store and doesn't dismiss himself just walks away irritated. Located near the Ala Moana shopping center, this FedEx makes printing projects convenient. Opens at 730 am, this location helps people on the go who need quick print outs. I usually come here for printing projects. When I come in here the staff greets me. Usually I don't have to wait that long. The self print stations usually are free. So when I go there I can handle smaller projects myself. However, with more specialized projects, I ask the staff to assist me. I tell them I need a certain type of paper for that type of job. They do a quick job. Being patient, they don't mind waiting for me to decide on which color, texture and size of paper. I like how this Fedex has so much space around! It makes me feel more comfortable for me to walk around while I wait for the printing projects to finish. What a life saver! read more

I just needed to drop off a document with prepaid shipping label so there's not much to say about my experience here. There was only 1 person in front of me so I got helped right away. Staff was friendly and took care of my document within 30 seconds. This fedex office was quite spacious and has a self service print center. They had hand sanitizer and a box of masks by the entrance in case you forgot yours. What a thoughtful gesture! And they have free parking lot outside. read more

They also have lamination services which is perfect since I needed a quick job done and I don't have a laminator. The worker was really helpful. 10 STARS TO MR. THAD!!! This guy is awesome sauce and gets the FEDEX Job done. He has been with the company a while and this review is overdue since he has helped me on a bunch of occasions. Usually school crap ... printing and copying. Anytime I need help he always has a helpful answer and never steers you wrong. A lot of people sometimes leave you hangin and you gotta figure things out, not Mr. Thad--today he even helped me with a fax and was super helpful to read out the fax # for me while I was punching it in -- I didn't even ask him to and that was to the highest degree of customer happiness!!! This protects your personal files and keeps everything confidential when you are printing with them. It is a new feature they just started not too long ago so take advantage when you need a quick print and don't have your home printer set up yet (or maybe you don't hVe a printer at all). Either way it is ery Very Very Cool to use. Be Prepared... It takes a while for the Retrieval Code to pop up in your inbox so buy a beverage or stand outside and get some fresh air while you wait 5-10 minutes for your code. It took my code about 7 minutes... like forever haha. Hang in there and happy Printing/Copying/Shipping Ect. They do it all at FedEx!! Also, Daniel made me laugh--he's new but he has a great joke when you get you ticket validated. It was the highlight of my day. OK 1st of all this location is incredibly congested and can sometimes be very difficult to get in-and-out of depending on the vehicle you're driving. Make sure to get your parking ticket validated else the owner of the parking lot will not let you out without paying. Now on to the store, it's been hit-and-miss in my dozen or so visits here when it comes to the staff their knowledge, their helpfulness, and general attitude. I will say that on this visit, both of the staffers with whom I had contact and discussions with were both helpful polite upbeat and positive. The store seems like it's a little beat up though, could stance and updating maybe some deep cleaning there was a funky smell in the store, but I suspect that given the humid climate that is Honolulu, it was just the normal dampness read more

First off, it was a nightmare trying to place my order online, as the website kept failing to complete my order. It somehow finally went through after trying over a dozen times. When I got to the store to pick up my order, the employee rudely accused me of formatting the print order wrong and said that I had somehow formatted the front design to print on a postcard and the back design to print on regular printer paper, when that wasn't even an option available on their online order form... So I didn't appreciate being falsely accused for that... He also was very flippant and dismissive when I tried to show my order confirmation when I picked up my order. Placed an online order for the first time and although the website ordering process wasn't the most intuitive (default setting was landscape and I had to search for the option to switch to portrait orientation) or streamlined, it got the job done. Was a tad nervous about how the print job would turn out but Thad (does that count as a pun?) was extremely helpful and friendly to boot. Went out of his way to fix a problem (couldn't order stapling online) and did it himself right then and there. Also appreciated that he didn't assume I was tech illiterate when I asked why the online service didn't offer stapling and mentioned he'll check the new online service portal to see if might be an oversight or if the option was tucked away in a sub-menu. Definitely planning to come back to this specific location the next time I need printing done. read more

The FedEx Office Print & Ship Center offers pretty fast & friendly service with ample validated parking directly in front of the store. If you have a large print job, you can just bring it in on a flash drive and plug it into the self-service machines and print it out yourself and pay by credit card. Personally, I hardly ever print things because now you can show coupons & vouchers on your smart phone to restaurants and other establishments. I print so little that my ink cartridge dried up well ahead of its print capacity. If needed, you can even email your document to usa2802@fedex.com at the FedEx Office Print & Ship Center and when you arrive they will have your document ready for you at something like 13 cents per page. Service could be a little faster but it seems that the staff is occupied doing projects but they will eventually come to help you when needed, as needed. Sometimes, a simple, "excuse me..." can expedite things. read more

Let me preface this by saying, I have been around computers my entire life. We had a computer before we had a television in our home. Now, no one told me that in 2020 it would be close to Impossible to to print a Simple addressed envelop from my iPad. I downloaded two apps and every time, the addresses were in the wrong place. I do not have an Airprinter but my printer is wireless. So I saved it in pdf and word and I used pages but, I could not get this right! There was No option for envelops in the plethora of templates on any programs that worked.As a college educated woman I felt very dumb after hours of struggling with this. So the next day I decided to go to fedex kinkos to print these envelopes. I knew they should have a program to make this easy. Well it wasn't as easy as I thought. When I found the program, I had to get help with the printer. I asked for help and a young man came over and believe it or not he wasn't sure how to load the paper. At this point this was the job from hell. I was so frustrated. But he was calm and admitted, that printing envelopes wasn't something they did often on the self serve computers. For some reason that calmed me, because I knew I wasn't going crazy or stupid. He was patient and we tried a few times to get it right. FINALLY, after an hour we conquered the envelop monster! I'm stingy with my stars. I'm giving five stars to the service. Thad was awesome. Not only did he help me print the envelopes, he taught me a trick to fold the perfect business letter to put in them. This day and age, great customer service is a thing of the past. You hear about it but rarely do you ever experience it. Ugh. Don't bother going here. The red flag we missed was the already-shattered entrance, in which we joked "wow a customer must've been pissed." Little did we know that joke may have had some truth to it, after our experience. The two employees were rude. We wanted to see how much it would cost to ship something. For descriptive purposes only: guy who "helped" us had long hair in a messy man bun and a beard, he was tall with terrible posture, an untucked and baggy fedex polo and he acted like helping someone ship something was the worst job in the world -- he took our item, measured, weighed, and input the destination address, let us know which box we needed to buy, and quoted us ~$70 (box included) we agreed that would work. After all was said and done, he got our item packed and ready to ship, put in the same measurement, weight and destination and our total came out to over $100! We were like Ew,no. He was thoroughly confused as to why we were shocked at the $40 difference, and his "manager" came by and basically said it was our fault for not asking enough questions. I'm sorry, but we gave you the item which you weighed and measured, you told us what box we needed to buy, then we provided the mailing address. From the "quote" to the final total literally nothing changed. Our item did not grow or get heavier, we didn't change the destination and less than 5 min later the total came out to over $100? He goes "yeah but you gotta understand quotes are never guaranteed." We paid for the box alone and left (made sure to have them validate our ticket, lol) and we took it to the USPS at Ala Moana. They sent our item to the same destination (using the same FedEx box) for $50 aaaaand it got delivered in 3 business days! I'm sure with all the condo developments coming up, this location will be closing in the near future but until that happens, do yourself a favor and stay away. read more

The service at this location (1500 Kapiolani Blvd) is absolutely TERRIBLE Unfortunately it's the closest to my house so that's where I stop by first, but EVERY SINGLE TIME I need a simple, extremely basic service (today, 01/18/21 at 10am, was rebinding a calendar) the associate said "No, Ma'am, this can't be done. We don't have the machine to do that, it won't match" etc. and then proceeded to refer me to another company to get the job done. The truth is, these guys working here are crippled by choice. Every morning they wake up and repeat the mantra "I will do the least possible, I won't help anyone with anything at all, I will turn away and refuse service to customers, I will take this place out of business for sure". On a separate occasion, we were in with my husband and one of these "customer service" representatives was screaming at an elderly Japanese woman who didn't speak English well. I couldn't believe the nerve of this disrespectful and unprofessional person. My husband was about to get involved when the guy realized he was totally out of place and called another coworker to help the lady. He obviously had no patience. I could keep going on and on and on about how bad the customer service at this location is... but I only have time to tell you where to go instead! So today, We had to drive out of our way to the FedEx location over King street (2575 S. King St) and Douglas B said: "Easy task!" He didn't need a machine, he had the same materials that the other FedEx store had (unless the other location doesn't have scissors?) and used his hands to do the job in a minute. I wish he worked at the FedEx close to my house! God knows they really need people with a brain capable of quality human interactions. He was not only efficient, but knowledgeable, personable and friendly. Can he be the manager at Kapiolani location please? Or at least train them to provide basic customer service? Taylor helped us out today. We asked for a size adjustment, lamination, and binding. We had an example where the Pearl City location was able to help us with no ease. All we got from him was "I can't help you, you can do it online." If it were easy to do online, then why would we be coming into the store. I usually like FedEx over UPS. When ever I ship stuff I usually get better rates. Actually I move to Seattle once and shipped everything to a location including a huge steamer trunk, ends up it was one linear inch below freight size. I saved a few hundred dollars. This one is a full print station. It's convenient and close to the mall and it's always pretty empty so I never have to wait and that's cool with me. read more

They gave me 8 by 11 on regular paper. Nobody told me they don't have photo paper. Then when I asked her to cut the pic, it was like I was torturing her. Female worker was very friendly and helpful. Got in and out super fast. Only needed to print one thing. A little pricey but it works out if you need to get any last minute printing done. The reason being so, they charge by the minute for computer use ($0.35 to surf the internet and print). And if your item is online and needs to be retrieved first, that takes up time. It was a really easy process. Just insert your charge card into the machine and it'll automatically deducted from that. read more
