Trevor and the UPS Store saved the day for me! My fiancée and I were traveling from Eastland to Tyler with a truck cab packed with hastily bagged items that I'd recovered from my deceased Mom's home. There were heavy things, fragile things, and valuable things, and of course, they were all sentimental things. My plan on entering the store was to obtain a few boxes and spend the next couple of days packing them out carefully from our hotel room in effort to ship them back home to Los Angeles. I had trouble looking at the boxes on display to make decisions as I was emotional, and their display shows short versions of the boxes with the dimensions labeled, as that better facilitates display on the wall. I was confused and worried and my fiancée was trying to calm me down and get me to think straight. That's when Trevor saw our plight and stepped in, stopping his other work on a duplication job. He asked the right series of critical questions like "how big is the biggest item?" and "can I see the bags to assess?" My fiancée began bringing the items into the store, and before long, Trevor assured me that my best bet was to enlist his assistance in the pack out, right there in the store. He was patient and kind as I unloaded a lifetime of treasures and memories onto the counter, spilling onto the floor. He helped me identify the heaviest, and most fragile items, brought out some packing supplies and let me use what was needed, only charging me for what I consumed. Trevor is a consummate professional, and needless to say, my 2 giant boxes, weighing over 80 ponds combined, arrived at my home in Los Angeles exactly as scheduled, the very day after my flight arrived. He saved me days of moving the items into hotels on luggage carts and agonizing over how to pack them, and for that, I am truly grateful. Oh yeah, and he gave us free tape. I have used this location for a couple of years. I usually go in the morning. If Andy is there, things go very well! If not, things seem to fall apart. Recently I need to overnight some documents with return envelope to Phoenix. The girl quoted me $50 each way! I didn't have that much money, so she suggested 3 day delivery. Reluctantly I took it. It's now been 5 days and no delivery. When I called I was told I'd have to pay extra for 3 day guarantee! Frustrated I checked USPS. For the same overnight delivery requirements it was 1/2 the cost! Talk about feeling robbed! They just lost me as a customer! read more

Store needs a update with customer service. When a person walks into a small store the staff normally ask if they can help you but at this particular location, the employees ignore customers during the busy Christmas season. I had to wait for staff to realize they had a customer in the store for the employees were too involved in singing songs in the back and goofing off than helping customers. Management needs to improve the customer service at this location in order to be a successful. I will be referring my clients to go elsewhere for printing/shipping needs in this area. read more

I'm building my own pc and the pc case needed a signature for them to leave it. I get a call from my mother in law saying they are at the front gate and my husband races down there to go sign for it and what do you know! They left. No call to tell us they were there, just a little note that said "sorry we missed you". Really? I've been waiting to sign to get this thing for two days now. Nicest and friendliest shopping service ever!! Very helpful and polite. I thought I would have to stand in line and awkwardly package up some books. I brought my own tape and bubble wrap. But the guy working was so nice, just grabbed a reasonably priced envelope for me and put the books in, packaged everything for me and even adhered the packing label! I didn't need to do anything!! Sadly, the local UPS Store really dropped the ball this week. On Wednesday, I provided an envelope with full shipping address to Jesse, who put the envelope in a mailer and created a label with an incorrect address. I contacted both the store and the UPS hub in San Antonio on Thursday, when the package wasn't delivered and provided the correct address (again). Neither the UPS Store nor the UPS hub in San Antonio can tell me where the package is. Issue after issue with their systems which haven't updated since Thursday. It is now Saturday afternoon. I am done with UPS forever. read more

I have used this store repeatedly and they have never once disappointed. I do a fair amount of shipping and I frequently come in at the last minute at closing time like a total jerk to ship an order last minute. Despite this frequent practice, the Hudson Oaks UPS store always treats me extremely well. Furthermore, they always take care of me promptly. Jesse and Zach frequently assist me there. Went there to ship a package to my daughter in DC. Due to a lot of theft, I asked about shipping to another UPS store to be held for pickup. They said sure, no problem. They found the nearest store, took my money, and away it went. Well, come to find out, not all UPS stores accept packages in this manner. Also come to find out, all of them are franchises and don't have to follow standard procedures. So, 12 days later the package is FINALLY arriving back at the original store. $50 down the drain...and what do they propose to fix this...oh, we will repack it and ship it out again...GROUND, to a new address for you. No compensation, no offer to ship it faster (like overnight), NOTHING. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. Beware, the UPS Store is not affiliated with UPS. They are independent franchises, and they are under no obligation for any remedies when they screw up. read more

Clerk refused to ship a Larue Tactical STOCK (an inert plastic product that was in its original packaging) to one of my customers in Texas because it was a gun part. I politely explained that this product could be ordered and shipped legally online by anyone...it is not a federally controlled product. I was informed by the cashier that the UPS Store's franchise agreement prohibits them from shipping any gun or gun product. I understand that firearms can not be shipped from this location, and I take no issue with that. However, by her definition a stream light flashlight would be refused due to the fact it is a weapon mounted flashlight. If this is the store policy, then you have lost a regular customer. I respect a business's right to choose its policies, but this can not be interpreted as anything other than a policy designed to inhibit legal commerce in the firearms industry. Your customers should be made aware of your store's position on this matter--especially since you derive the majority of your income from Texans. If this was an employee's misunderstanding then please feel free to reach out to me as I would welcome a response. read more

Called them didn't seem to care and found out my neighbors daughter in law had about the same on wedding invitations not enough postage arrived late.....Poor service read more
