My visit at this UPS Store was a quick one. I've become addicted to my Nespresso and something I love about the Nespresso brand is their commitment to recycling. They will actually send you for free recycling bags that are already pre-addressed and you just have to drop them off at a UPS Store to ship. The only issue with this for me is that I tend to end up with a few of these bags filled to the brim with used pods sitting in my car until the whole car smells of stale coffee and only then do I end up searching frantically for the closest UPS Store. That was the exact scenario a few weeks ago when I landed here. Overall there isn't much to report about this location, it's a very standard UPS store. When I popped in the gal working knew exactly that I was just dropping off Nespresso pods and happily took them from me and I was on my way. They lost a major package of mine, using the wrong label to ship it and then were unable to locate where they shipped it. They failed to follow up (despite saying they would.) I was finally paid a nominal amount through their insurance. I do not recommend them. read more

Needed a notary so I called ahead to make sure there was one available here. He said he'd be there until 5:30. I got there about 5:25 but luckily he was still there and sooo helpful and polite. I have been using this UPS location for over two years for my primary address due to all the problems with USPS delivering to my large apartment complex. Or should I say the lack of deliveries by USPS and all of the theft going on nationally. The employees have always been friendly, personable and very helpful. They always offer the help carry large packages to my car. The current management is amazing, I just met Stamps. There has been previous staffing issues, but consistently there is always a smiling, ready to help face at the desk. It can be busy at 5 pm on weekdays. read more

The folks who work at this Watts Mill store make Amazon returns so easy! They are always patient with my disorganization and never judgy about how many returns I bring. I was super impressed with how calmly the owner, Bryan, handled a belligerent and intelligible customer this evening. He went above and beyond to help the woman who had apparently been going from UPS to UPS with her struggles and miscommunication. This UPS is always my first choice for my Amazon returns and any of my shipping and mailing needs. They sell fun greeting cards, as well. read more

I needed to ship several large boxes via UPS, so I stopped into the UPS store. There were two young men working and both were very friendly and professional. They quickly helped me get my packages out and I would go back to this location again. The one complaint is that this is in a busy strip mall and I wasn't able to pull up close enough to unload, which caused me to make two trips to bring all of my boxes into​ the store. Not sure if they had carts or if the staff would assist on a less busy day. read more

The store "blames" ups. Note that The Ups Store is not UPS. Ups blames the store. Super helpful. Not. The UPS store at 1221 W 103rdst, Kansas City MO, 64114-4512 has been difficult to work with and bordering on underhanded. On Jan 5 my frail father sent my keys and fob from the UPS store with tracking number. He insured them for the standard $100 and paid $65 for overnight shipping. The UPS store packed the keys in their Express envelope and sent them. The package arrived with the key fob broken. I promptly contacted UPS and was told I needed to contact the UPS store. I did so and was told by one of the employees that I should be receiving the $100 insurance and the shipping costs of $65 in the mail shortly. The check didn't come. After repeated calls and promises of "the check is in the mail" I finally stopped in to demand payment when I was back in Kansas City to put my father into Assisted Living. The employee called the owner who would not talk to me. Again I was told by an employee "the check is in the mail." (I am dumbfounded that a shipping company cannot track a check that they mailed.) Finally, I received a personal check from the presumed owner for $100. It arrived on Feb 19, 2019. I called local UPS stores in my area and they affirm that I should have received the insurance plus the cost of shipping ($165.) The cost of the key fob alone from Ford with programming is $129. After 6 weeks of waiting, persistent nagging, refusal by the owner/boss to talk with me, frustration by the employees that the owner was obviously trying to dodge me, and finally receiving a check that is less than adequate does NOT reflect well on the UPS name that I have honored for so long. I cannot recommend the use of this store and I hope that UPS does something to save its honored name. read more

This UPS Store has terrible, ignore your problem, not return your calls or e-mails, and cost you $130 customer service, and the corporate office couldn't care less. The owner/manager is one of the worst customer service people I have ever had to work with, and I will never use this UPS Store (or a Mailboxes Etc.) store again. Here's the back story: I shipped something through this UPS Store (I don't have a UPS account number so the UPS Store used their account number). The item never arrived. The UPS Store was very slow responding (weeks) when I asked them what was going on (UPS wouldn't talk to me because it wasn't shipped through my account number), but, eventually told me that UPS had lost my item and that UPS was cutting them a check, and that they were cutting me a check (I don't have a UPS account number so the package was shipped through the UPS Store's account), so I gave the guy I was shipping the item to his money back. The UPS Store then told me that UPS was not refunding the money after all, because it had been determined that the item had been delivered, so they were not going to cut me a check after all. After I contacted my customer and he confirmed that neither he nor any of his family had received the item I tried to get some help (or at least an explanation) from the UPS Store as UPS wouldn't talk with me about the situation. The manager of the UPS Store didn't return my repeated phone calls or e-mails trying to get some help or an explanation. Eventually I contacted the corporate offices of Mailboxes Etc. to try to get some help. They told me, after an investigation, that there was no wrong done by the franchise, that they don't expect the managers of their franchises to do anything other than what they want to do (because they don't have control over them), and that my story was probably not what was really going on. In short, UPS lost my package, the UPS Store (run by Mailboxes Etc.) wouldn't do anything to help me get my money back (they wouldn't even return my calls or my e-mails), and the corporate offices were satisfied with poor customer service. read more

I actually enjoy this store when I either need to mail something to my out of town family or return something I have ordered. They are efficient, friendly and helpful. With a smile too! Oh, and I might add that the one time they almost made an error (we caught it in time though), it was handled with grace - and above and beyond my expectations! So i guess this is a franchise and they can make their own prices? Had a package they were going to charge $52 for 4 day shipping with $500 insurance. Went to USPS and got 2 day shipping with $500 insurance for $19.... jacked up prices. Also they sell a 69 cent envelope for $3. read more

Everyone at this UPS Store is very friendly and helpful with all of my small business needs. They are very knowledgeable and a great resource. I have a mailbox there that is very safe and secure. I also do a lot of printing and mailing there. They always charge me a fair price and ship items out very quickly. They have also helped me with some door-to-door mail out marketing that increased my business greatly. I have had nothing but problems with all the UPS stores including this one. All items that I have trusted to UPS stores to pack were damaged due to poor packing. Claims can take from one month up to six months while UPS Corporate and UPS Stores play "The Blame Game" of who did what and who will pay. They do not want to pay out on insurance claims even though you paid for it and they packed it. UPS Corporate gives out very little info and will not call you. I have never had a problem with FED-EX and that is who I use now! read more
