I came in today to fax some papers and mail out papers as well. I was originally looking for a post office. My Waze app brought this location up as a post office, so I was surprised when I drove here and found a UPS store. I went in anyway, and I'm very glad I did. Vanessa assisted me very quickly and was friendly from the beginning. They offer USPS shipping with the tracking numbers, and this is exactly what I needed. I paid less for 2 day priority shipping here than at the post office. #winning I had issues with the papers I needed faxed so Vanessa tried multiple times. She became busy because apparently I came in during rush hour. Joshua the manager took over and let me know the recipients fax machine most likely couldn't handle the amount of papers I was sending. He suggested I split it in 2 separate piles, and he was right because it went straight thru. During this waiting period I had checked in on yelp of course, and right away a 15% off code popped up for copying and faxing. I had already paid cash and asked if they could redo it for the savings. Every time I enter this UPS Store I am greeted by friendly, courteous employees. The manager is very nice and the store is clean and well organized. Even though Amazon Returns are difficult and a real pain for the store itself, they have always been handled efficiently and correctly. Some reviews here want to blame the individual store for UPS losing a package. This is unfair, and frankly FedEx and USPS have lost packages of mine, but not UPS. This UPS Store's great customer service deserves recognition. read more

Absolutely the best customer service there is. My wife and I went in with a stores worth of returns to Amazon 50 min before closing. All the reps that were available assisted us. They helped other customers as they arrived and came back to us to assist they're co-workers. The lead stayed part closing to complete the returns. All of them still served with a smile. I went into The UPS Store today (4/13/22, time approx. 11:15am). The business had no one except one customer in front of me which they helped quickly. I went to pick up two packages that I received an e-mail notification that the two packages were there. When I went to my mail slot, I only had one package receipt. When I informed the female that I had another package, she informed me their policy had changed and I had to wait for the slip to be placed in my mail slot. Her customer service skills were not very good. No smile or offer to help. In fact, I was never notified of this change in policy. If this is in fact the policy, it is a terrible one. Most of the time, the front-end clerks go out of their way to help me get a package and even check to make sure I have packages in which a package pick-up slip was not placed in my mail-slot. I am not sure if I came across a bad female employee but this one had poor customer service skills. I am upset because I drive 40 miles one way to pick up my mail a couple of times a week. I do not live locally. I live near Gorman. In addition, I will be going out of town for two weeks and I received past notifications from The UPS store that they want packages to be picked up as soon as possible. With the price of gas nowadays, it is expensive for me to make multiple trips to come to town to pick up my mail/packages. I did not see the female owner or I would have spoken to her about my issue. All the bad reviews here aren't true at all. First time to be here and I had a good experience. Daniel was there to help me with my stuff that I need to ship to Canada. He's very helpful. He even helped me fold the dress and put it inside the box that he assembled and taped! I will definitely come back again here! Friendly staff and the best part, there's stores and Starbucks nearby. Shipped 4 packages from my new small business & they mixed 2 of them up so 2 of the customers were understandably frustrated. I'm upset because I confirmed that address was correct when signing & paying, but when I left somehow the labels were mixed up. Not a good start for my business thanks to the UPS store!! read more

I was sending three posters, each 22" x 34" and mounted on foam board, over to a business colleague across the country. I had no other material to ship it in prior to coming to UPS. Brenda (I believe that's her name!) helped me out by figuring out how to pack them as securely as they could and so patient, in my opinion, because I know it was an unusual size to send out in the first place. She understood my concern about the possibilities of the box getting crushed so she even put a note on it that the box was 'fragile'. Horribly overpriced and not so honest about it either. Employee quoted that I could try USPS but it'd be about the same. It is not! $8 versus the cheapest UPS option of $35 are NOT the same. Not recommending UPS in general going forward. read more

The girl help me had a very bad attitude. She was not friendly at all. I told her I need another box to ship my item she rang me up charge me six dollars and some change and didn't explain to me the process. She didn't even put the item in the box she discarded it to the side and continue with helping other customers. I wrote a review 3 weeks ago about my sending a package on a Friday afternoon for delivery by noon on Saturday ($49). It hasn't appeared, so I am writing it again. My package had tickets to be used at 2 PM on Saturday. It was not delivered and couldn't be found until Wednesday of the next week. I had to order the tickets on line ($330) in order for my friends to get to go to the show. I had to pay for a second set of tickets and the shipping cost for the lost package. The employees at this store said that it was UPS that was responsible not them. They were rude and amused that I was upset. NEVER depend on this UPS facility to get a package delivered. 19 July 2018 Dear UPS Store - 2531, I was in your store yesterday 18 July 2018, at 6:21 pm and I got a copy of my receipt book made. After that I had questions concerning the binding of my book and I asked if they could do it after I was told what the cost would be. To my surprise I was told no because it was close to their closing time which was in 3 minutes. I was shocked by this response because I was already inside of the store and was being serviced but since it was 3 minutes before their closing time they could not do it. This is NOT good customer service because I did not walk in at their closing time I was already there getting copies made and it was NOT time for the store to close so I should have been able to complete my service that I came in to get. It is things like this that makes customers go to other places. Your closing time was 6:30 pm and I arrived at 6:21 pm, so again, since I was already inside of the store before you closed I should have been able to complete my services that I needed. SHIP/RECEIVE AT YOUR OWN RISK. This place was always my go-to since printing wasn't as accessible at home. I've always shipped from here. When my packages started to get stolen from my front porch. I was excited to know that I could get my packages delivered here at no extra cost! So I signed up and thought my problems getting my packages was now put behind me. Well, this store lost my package! I had a big order from the Disney Store that I needed to ship out by the 18th of December so it could arrive by Christmas. I went to pick up my packages and they didn't have my Disney one. They claimed that the tracking number doesn't even show up in their computer. I called the UPS 800 number. They had all the info on their end but couldn't tell me why my package disappeared, "it's confidential". They're not supposed to deliver any packages without an ID. My theory is the employees found a scheme to make packages disappear. Well, Disney is starting an investigation so I hope they go to jail. They're THIEVES. Very disappointing the such dishonesty exists under the UPS name. I wanted to send a small padded envelope to Sacramento. The gentleman told me it would be $10.75 via UPS Ground. I told him I wanted the cheapest way possible. He replied that this was the cheapest way. I inquired about USPS possibly being cheaper. He checked and said it would be $5.48. That is almost a 50% savings! I understand that they are a UPS store and prefer that customers ship via UPS, but to blatantly lie to a customer? And no, I do not consider this to possibly be an innocent mistake. This man spends his day shipping small packages, it is his job. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The little girl at the front desk is very rude. I went here to pick up a package and she tells me "That'll be five dollars" I have never used this facility before I usually go to Ave L. She explains that they have to charge five dollars blah blah blah! I explain I don't pay five dollars to pick up something I've already paid for so please send it to L where I can pick it up for free. She can't do that only send it back to sender. After leaving I log on to my UPS account to see she put the reason being sent back is...."customer stated she did not order and does not want item" REALLY so why was I there to pick it up? So not only is she rude she's also a LIAR. Thankful I was able to add my comment that I asked item to be sent to L and I was refused this service did not pick up due to the five dollar charge. I already called the sender who will send another item out today and trust that will be picked up at the REAL UPS ON AVE L so my review this place is a waste of time they charge for what you can get for free by driving to Ave L. I will never pick up a package here again! read more
