1st time using this location and the lady was nice upon dropping my next day off... however, my package never made it the next day as paid for. I called and spoke with the Manager, Debra, and she didn't show any concern whatsoever... she was so nonchalant and just kept saying if the package isn't there tonight then call the UPS number tomorrow... I said why is the tracking not updated and she says maybe they forgot to scan it. She showed no care in the world. An hour later, after we talked, I see the tracking says it finally arrived at the UPS facility that it should've arrived at the day before... how ironic is this?!? Now it shows my package is arriving a day late. This was my first and last visit to this location. read more

New to Las Vegas, I needed to find a place to ship packages and return all those Amazon impulse purchases, close to the home. This UPS store always does a great job. Last week I had something very large and heavy to return so I back my car in close to the front door and out popped Darryl with a smile and said "I saw you back in, looks like you have a heavy box, do you need me to bring it in for you? Uhm, yes Darryl...thank you for reading my mind and being so amazing! By the way, this isn't the first time this has happened which is awesome. Darryl greeted me with a big smile and was ready to assist with whatever I needed. I had a two large packages to ship (doing a favor for a friend) and he went above and beyond to ensure that everything was taken care of smoothly. He even provided helpful advice on the best shipping options to suit my needs, which saved me time and money. So if you're looking for exceptional service at the UPS store, look no further. I just dropped off a return. I just experienced the rudest customer service from the moment I entered the store. I walked up to the lady who was in front of the register. No hello or good afternoon. She just said "you have to go over there. I'm busy!" I'm like "ok, I'm sorry I didn't know." Didn't say anything after that. I waited at the other register. I was helped by this other girl. I provided a box for my return just in case they needed it. After I did the return, she said, "you have to take back the box". People I get that you hate your jobs but you are dealing with human beings so treat us with respect. I wish I got their names but it was Saturday, May 10 at 11:30am. It was the two female workers there. I came in with a good attitude. I left feeling disrespected. read more

Seems like the management made up a rule regarding accepting Amazon returns unless you purchase their packaging service. I went into their store (near Smith's on Rampart and Lake Mead) with an Amazon return. The item was packaged in the original box as shipped from the factory and was told they cannot be shipped in that type of material an$ it would need to be repacked in order to be shipped. Ironically the package was delivered by UPS in the same box. I'm not sure if the local UPS store receives a fee or commission accepting Amazon returns or not, but refusing to accept a package because they didn't pack it is simply poor business. Another UPS store thanked me upon arrival and accepted the package with out question and than thank me again while leaving the store. read more

We typically go to this store for our notary needs, and the occasional Amazon return. Well, today, 3/12/25 was the first time we have ever seen a woman working here, and for whatever reason she decided to REFUSE our Amazon return. Her excuse, it can NOT be sent back in the manufacturer's box. Well, girl, you are WRONG! When we filled out the return request, the instructions for our coffee maker was to repackage it back up (it was only out of the original box for testing, and when we found it to be broken we requested to return it) We carefully put it back in the original box it came in, and taped it up, and removed the shipping label. When I called Amazon, they actually LAUGHED AT HER!!! AND said SHE WAS WRONG! Their solution, so I would not be inconvenienced any more, a return-less return, FINE BY ME! I will never have this incompetent UPS store employee help me! She needs better training for sure! She wasted our time! read more

I actually go out of my way to come to this UPS store (~3 miles) because the location closest to me evidently only hires jacka**es to work there. This one is conveniently located in the same shopping center as Smith's, Omelet House and German Bread Bakery. The reason I go out of my way for this one is: 1) it's always clean - never any bits of trash and everything is nice and orderly; and 2) the employees. Each and every one of them are all so nice and polite. And a special shout out to Darryl, who helped me today. He cut a label I walked in with and placed it on a box to ship out for me without me having to do it as I was in a rush and hot and flustered from the hot weather. I popped into this store with an Amazon return and an envelope that I wanted to send via USPS. Amazon return = no problem. My envelope wasn't a bubble mailer and it was less than 1/4" thick. I wanted to know the weight so I could put enough postage on it, but I didn't need to buy postage from the UPS Store, I had plenty of stamps. The cashier took my envelope and told me it was over $8.00 to mail because of the thickness. She then asked for my DL and proceeded to enter in my info. I restated that I knew it was not that expensive because it wasn't a bubble mailer. Another employee, middle-aged angry gal, at the next register (who was actively helping a customer) snaps at me about envelope size/thickness/needing all my info so I said nevermind and took my envelope to the actual post office on Tenaya. (BTW, it was less than $1.50 to mail the envelope via USPS). I went to the store again today with an Amazon return. My item was in the original box, tapped up and I had my QR code. Today's employee told me no because I didn't have the white plastic bag from Amazon. I said okay, but I have been told 3 different times at this store that I do not need the bag, just the original packaging so I didn't bother to bring it. He didn't want to hear it, picked up a piece of paper on the back counter, told me it stated the return rules and that I could pay to have them package it up for return. I started to repeat my previous statement about the white plastic bag, but stopped myself, took my package and walked out. It's no use trying to explain because the tides have turned and us customers are nuisances to businesses. read more

I love this place! They are always willing to explain things and help solve problems. I saw one guy working with three confused people. I was one of them. We were all trying to return to Amazon and not understanding Amazon's labelling requirements. He was patient, explained things and kept his sense of humor! They always take the time to double-check to make sure everything got scanned in correctly. Everyone is greeted with a friendly smile and a patient explanation. No longer how many patrons they have, they are a friendly spot in this shopping center. read more

First of all the service here is outstanding and it's a very clean and neat store. What I like best about this store is when I come in I'm always treated kindly. One document was the same document, one for each of my children, so the second document signature of out's, should have been half. So I wrote a review about my package being lost and the UPS Store responded as if they wanted to help resolve the issue; however, they simply told me the company policy on claims. Indicating that UPS would only pay the amount I believed the package was valued at the time of the mailing. I have a receipt for the replacement of the package but that doesn't matter..Because they lost the package, I'm out of $200. I would never use UPS again. FedEx or US Postal Service here I come. I needed to have a quick claim deed notarized. My bank was full and they said I had the documents needed. I called and found out this store had a notary for a few so I drove over. I gave the man the document and i.d. he said he couldn't notarize my signature without seeing my trust. Really my private confidential trust document. I explained that all he was notarizing was my signature and proof that I am who I say I am he doesn't need my trust. Well, he refused to notarize. I had to go across town to a different ups store who had no problem notarizing my signature. He was rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Got to the UPS store at 8:30 this morning needing something to be notarized, no cars in the parking lot, was wondering if they were open. Oh yes, they were open, not a single customer inside. The woman said she would be with me in a few minutes. I asked if I could get something notarized. She said at 10:00, there has to be 2 workers in the store for the lines in order to get something notarized. Really? There is NOT ONE customer in the store or in a 20 mile radius. I asked her if the UPS on Buffalo\ Lake Mead had the same policy. She said she wouldn't be able to answer my question since they are all independently owned! Thank God! Went to the one on Buffalo and Lake Mead 4 customers inside, 1 clerk. It took 3 minutes to notarize my form and have it faxed. Will never go to the one on Fort Apache/ Lake Mead again. My experience here has just been kind of lackluster. They offer services such as USPS flat rate shipping but they don't have flat rate shipping boxes so they can't ship anything flat rate. Don't advertise something you can't provide!m. I find the staff to be kind of snotty as well. My most recent visit to them yesterday was because I was close by and needed to ship something off in a hurry; they charged me $8 for a box to ship a blanket! Shipping was $19. I use ups for PO boxes because they have actual addresses instead of PO box numbers and I switched to this location because it is closer to my residence unfortunately I wish I would've kept the one further away. The service here is always dependent on one employee usually with bad customer service skills and little knowledge of the actual store. If you have to do anything but pick up your packages expect to wait an extra 15 minutes on top of the 10 it usually takes to get them because the managers are usually sitting in the back allowing lines of customers to build in the front. I went today arrived 5 minutes before closed and the employee looked me in the eye as the closed the store. I understand people want to go home but when your business is solely based on packages and you physically see me trying to make it last minute wouldn't it be considerate to run your FULL BUSINESS HOURS? However I am not surprised because this incompetence and inconsiderate actions are regularly demonstrated at this location. I hope whoever the store manager is gets fired and they give it to the guy running the cactus location but he understand the importance of training employees and demonstrating leadership. UPDATE I've regularly mentioned my disappointment in the customer service in person and eventually just stopped going allowing my boyfriend to pick up the packages. Today they decided to harass him about my honest review and closed my PO box over it. After arguing with him about the review she refused to give me a refund for the rest of my contract and threatened to call the police because I wouldn't take down my review. read more

There was the UPS store 1 mile from my location. I walked in with minutes before closing and the was Tyler helping me choose the best way to send my 3 packages and providing excellent customer service. This store...I can't say enough. I had to handle a very complicated situation for my sick mom and it meant daily (sometimes up to 5 times a day) having to print, sign, email notarize and fax paperwork. This went on for 2 months. The government doesn't make things easy. Debora and the entire staff were always, and still are, right there ready to help. In a time of masks and social distancing, they treated me like I was a part of their little family and took every extra step to make me feel like I wasn't doing it all on my own. Flowers, thank you cards and champagne and I still wish I could do more to thank them. In a big city like Vegas, you don't ever expect a corporate store to feel so mom and pop...but they pull it off. I'd been going there for years for little shipping needs or the occasional fax...but to know all day every day for two months straight they had my back? I live 30 miles away and will still ONLY use this UPS Store. I know in quarantine times people are and were frustrated. They'd get yelled at, they'd have people confused or angry...but as a not so subtle fly-on-the-wall, I can say that they handled every single situation as patiently and professionally as they could. Amazing staff, phenomenal human beings, compassionate and a clean store to boot. I messed up on an Amazon order and needed to send the mistake back. I opted for the UPS Drop Location. I did not know exactly where a location was and so I googled one and locate this UPS store. Basically, all the work was done on my end. I printed out what I was supposed to and headed off to the googled location. I needed an envelope large enough to accommodate my mistake. It was easy to find and relatively inexpensive. There were a few other customers ahead of me, but the line moved quick enough. The service was A-OK. The transaction was A-OK. I reckon, if I ever find myself in this sort of predicament again and I am in the area, I would visit this particular location again. read more
