I don't even know how this place is actually a U-Haul authorized dealer , I had a reservation for today for another location, you called me and said we're gonna move your pick up location to another one, and I said am I gonna have any issues renting with a debit card from this company? They said no they even called the office and verified that they will take my debit card. Comes today Saturday I go to the place and the lady in front says oh sorry we can't take your card.we only do this for certain customers ..I asked her to verify that should've been notes on the account , she said she didn't care for them and that she wouldn't take my card , that I needed to go to a corporate location ... I go to the corporate location and they called from there to that office and the lady has audacity of saying I was a walk-in. I had no reservation and that she couldn't take my card because of that. I showed the messages from your hole since Tuesday that I had a reservation and then on Thursday they changed it to this location.... I rent event every weekend for my business for this people that just give people the runaround. I will definitely never come back here. read more

Worst customer service ever! Never felt so uncomfortable in a store in my life! . We walked in due to a U-Haul reservation. I walked in and both people at the counter were speaking in their foreign language looked at us with mean glares and just a bad feel vive. When we went to the counter and told the lady we had a reservation she said we needed a major credit card. We have rented from U-Haul countless times and never been required to give a credit card. We called U-Haul and they said they shouldn't do that or we have never heard of that. Just absolute horrible experience. read more

I looked up this location and on google and they open at 9:00am. I arrived at 9:15 and as I was walking towards the door I saw what looked like the owners coming out and locking the door. Of course I looked baffled and one of them rudely pointed behind him towards a sign that says closed until the 6th of January, then he just walked away. I thought at the very least he could have had some empathy that I made an effort to patronize his business only to find it was closed. Instead they treated me like I was some kind of jerk. After they walked away they were smirking and laughing and when they saw that I saw that they tried to play it off. I will never use this business nor will I recommend them to anyone. Abhorrent customer service, accusatory staff, and slow service. Today I went to Mail Plus to look at their inventory, and I was greeted with blank stares from employees while I was looking around as well as employees talking out loud about me while I was still in the store. Person at the counter overcharged me and then denied it until I asked 3 times for a refund for them to let me repurchase it at the proper price. She basically made me apologize to her for her mistake before letting me purchase it at its correct price and then was extremely rude and gave me the silent treatment. I went into Mail Plus to purchase a box to ship an item in. I asked the woman at the desk if I would be able to return the box if my item didn't fit inside of it, she said yes with no hesitation. The box itself was $24.92 at the time of purchase and had a plastic band wrapped around it to hold it folded in place. The box did not fit the item that I was shipping, and within an hour I went back and asked her to process a refund. She claimed that their return policy didn't cover the box since the plastic band was removed, but there was no way to test whether or not the box worked without removing it. The woman also hadn't told me about any return policy when I asked the question regarding my purchase, leaving me with no knowledge of it, and with no indication of any sort of policy on the receipt or inside the store I asked for the manager and she declined my request. She then fought with me saying it was my mistake and I wouldn't be able to return it. After asking again she tried to bargain with me about it and said I could get 50% back. A young man came to the register from the back around 5-10 minutes later and started arguing with her about my refund. He then told me he'd give me my money back only if I went back home, grabbed the cut up band from the box, and went back again. I did that and after going to the store 3 times in a day, I was finally able to get my money back. This was a horrible experience overall. Rude employees, no indication of any customer related policies, and shady business practices. I wouldn't recommend shopping here. read more

I have been a mailbox customer with Mail Plus for over 10 years. They've gone through a total of 3 different owners. I've always paid $10.00 monthly and if you pay a year in advance you get 2 months FREE. Due to the current owners renovating the establishment, they've somehow managed to increase the mailbox $10.00 monthly with no incentives. I was charged $240.00 for the year. I did however make a fuss and was granted 2 months FREE. I'll tell you one thing about long term clientele is that we do not like drastic change and these monthly prices are absolutely absurd. I feel like I've been ripped off and my longevity holds no value. read more

Scammers. Been sending my driver there for months regularly. Always have a financial problem with them, always overcharging on accident or whatever their reasons are this time they found an ash on the ground and accused my driver of smoking in the vehicle. He told me he was smoking out of the vehicle the literal microscopic Ash could have came from his shoe, and they charged an extra $50. Straight scam. They chose to fee us instead of communication and lost a regular customer. My rating is a zero for their terrible communication skills and treatment of a regular customer. read more

I would give this place 0 stars moving is already as stressful as it is and they didn't make things better, they accused us of stealing a trailer which we never drove off the lot with and then they proceeded to get the police involved and shortened our whole reservation time and gave us a deadline saying if we didn't have it back by 5:30 they were gonna report the truck stolen !! Like are you serious ?? moving takes anywhere from 3-5 hours depending on the circumstances they completely made my move soooo stressful for no reason at all but mind you on top of all the accusations the truck battery dies when we were moving stuff out the truck at night! Do not use this place for anything. I dropped off a box to be shipped fed ex on Friday at noon for Tuesday delivery. Tuesday at noon it hadn't been picked up yet. The owner Victor Step said the fed ex driver didnt show up and says it's not his responsibility to call fed ex, and he doesnt know how FedEx works. Yet is a licensed drop off location. Filed a report with FedEx. Do yourself a favor and go to a different place. Unless you want your stuff sitting there for 4 days not sent. read more

But when I was there they helped me out with my trip made it so smooth and easy for me! No body was rude everybody was so nice and helpful. They had a lot of cool stuff and they had great deals! Customer service here is crap! We reserved a uhaul a week ago and had a pick up time of 9am. We drove out to this location and were told oh sorry we don't have your truck. It would have been nice to receive a call letting us know that we didn't need to drive out there. She then told us the only 15 footer in the valley is a 45 min drive away. Uhaul thankfully refunded us $50 for the guarantee that it would be there. I would not suggest this location for uhaul pickup. read more

Not the kind of thing you'd predict yourself saying, but I'm a fan of Mail Plus! We needed a U-Haul and this happened to be the most convenient location with availability. Pickup and dropoff were quick and easy. My only minor issue is that the options I selected online didn't appear to transfer to them. Then again, it seemed like they were training a new guy on the system and maybe he wasn't familiar with it. They have 24-hour dropoff, but we finished earlier than expected and they were still open. Overall, it was just a positive experience. The girl was super friendly. The store reminds me of a Mom and Pop Asian store except their goods are Eastern European. We asked for some recommendations and picked up a few chocolates. We also picked out a couple of non-English-labeled Orangina bottles because, according to the girl, they have regular sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. But then we picked up some Orangina from Trader Joe's the next day and I couldn't tell the difference. Anyway, I'll definitely keep this place in mind for future U-Haul rentals. Or random Eastern European meats and chocolate. read more

We rented Uhauls from Mail Plus twice. The first time last summer was a very positive experience. The 2 brothers working the store were helpful, accommodating and friendly. We rented a truck and 2 furniture dollies last week. The girl who checked us out took us around the truck for inspection, but never had us confirm rentable items in the truck were sealed properly. We did not use the dolly that was in the truck. When we returned it, an older gentleman charged us for the dolly, because apparently the seal on the tie had been broken. It was only a $4 charge, but we shouldn't have been charged for something we didn't use, especially after paying for 2 heavy duty dolly rentals. When we tried to state our case, he abruptly cut us off in conversation, stated "Nevermind, you wouldn't understand," insulting me. Then grudgingly told us he would credit the dolly charge, and walked out the back of the store, with nothing else to say. It was very rude, very abrupt, and he didn't want to listen to a word we had to say. We thought it was over after he agreed to the refund. When I logged into my credit card account, not only was I not refunded. I was charged TWICE. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. I am very disappointed. This is the most convenient store for me to rent a truck at, and I like the European food market. However, due to the way I was treated, I will never return. read more

After a safe and successful move from California to Nevada, it was time to return the U-Haul. Mail Plus was our nearest drop-off location. I called the store first thing in the morning to make sure they were open because it was Christmas Eve and I wasn't sure what their business hours were. The lady who answered the phone was friendly. She told me they were open until 1 pm and could come by anytime, and they also had an after-hours drop off as well. When we got there, the same employee I had spoken with over the phone did a final check of our U-Haul and told us that we went about 43 miles over the mileage allowed on our contract. She asked us if we drove a different route, we told her we drove on the normal freeways as we always do. Then she asked us if we verified the mileage that was written on our contract with the mileage shown on the truck when we picked it up in California, and we told her we probably did not. We apologized, explained that this was our first time renting a U-Haul and just totally forgot to double-check the mileage. We were supposed to get charged for going over, but she did some sort of override thing on the computer and wrote that we had to drive a different route because of the heavy rains we were having in California. This was true too- California and Nevada had such horrible rainy weather for the past week! Thank you very much! That was very nice of her to not charge us any extra fees.
