I don't write many negative reviews because unless service is so bad that it calls for one, I'm not one to tear down a business. That being said, I paid all fees associated with international packages (which you are obligated to do to even receive said packages) with receipts. 3 months later, UPS is applying late fees and issuing additional charges because they cashed my check, charged my cards, but they didn't attach any of the money I paid to my account. It's insane to me that they had over $800 floating around in their system that they already took from me but because they didn't tie it to my account, my account is being penalized and charged for late/missing payments. Countless hours wasted and another potential couple hundred bucks to resolve this entire issue. Not too many options out there but definitely don't go with UPS. read more

Javier, Ashley , and another gentleman have been helping with my employers returns for a couple years ! Why they don't have 5 stars I'll never know . People just seem to get less kind all the time . Maybe it's angry people mostly write the reviews ? I don't know , but the service is outstanding and the people they hire can't be any sweeter . I just don't understand what people want . Service requested is always filled far faster and more professionally than an UPS store I've ever been to ! This UPS can get very very busy!! I typically only come here when I have to do Amazon returns! There's typically only 2 people working. Sometimes there are long lines, but the workers are pretty efficient and quick! Would be nice for Amazon returns to have a section where it can be a quick and easy drop off, to where we scan our barcode drop it off and get our receipt! I've been to this location a couple times and they've been helpful and customer service is reasonably good. I had to make a return to a non-Amazon 3rd party and they helped with printing the label and sealing the package and shipping for me. The prices are reasonable and you're not waiting in the long line at the post office. I normally go to another location , but I've been here at least twice and no complaints. read more

I went here for both passport photo and get a mail box. Previously got a passport photo through a different store and it was rejected because Of my shirt color (brown not accepted apparently). I was hoping they would retake phot but since it was at a different store I wasn't sure it would be honored (the one I originally went to was near work one hour away). The first thing the guy said is "it's not my fault" and that it was my fault for wearing wrong shirt. This store rarely opens on time during the week (at 8am) and is always about 15-20 minutes behind schedule at the start of the day. This morning they were late opening again, a line out the door and no notary on duty until 10am. When I asked if I could print a page from an email, I was told that she was "locked out of the computer system until someone else gets there at 10am".....WTF, wow! Management really needs to be present at the start of the business day, and at the very least train your employees in all functions and services so we don't have to keep coming back and look for someone qualified to be on duty. I'm so happy with this location! Super close to my new spot on West side. I came in to send some vintage magazines to a friend. And the employees were super helpful in helping me chose the right folder to send. The cardboard folder was $4 and to send was $10. Great deal! I've been to this location twice and never again, both times they made me to pay $1 for a few inches of tape. It's ridiculous when other locations never make you pay for a tape and even offering free boxes/packages. That's like going to usps. They will loose a lot of customers with their $1 tape policy, and there is no even receipt offer for that $1, which makes me think it goes just to smbd's pocket. read more

Came here to use the notary services because I need to send away for my birth certificate because the DMV here in Las Vegas NV would not accepted my old one because it had a rip in it. I was greeted when I walked in and was helped right away. The lady that helped me was nice and friendly. I was in and out of here in no time. Very nice and helpful however this location has a big problem; usury. I can go to the UPS store on Durango and Desert Inn and get charged $.50 for a copy- this place charges $1.50 a copy!! EXCELLENT! I don't usually take the time to submit reviews, but let me tell you about my recent experience with the staff and management at this UPS Store location at Fort Apache & Flamingo near GNC and Smith's. MY NIGHTMARE: We had a death in our family in January in Los Angeles, CA. I was preparing 200 programs from my home office in Las Vegas to help reduce costs. But overnight, my laser printer ran out of toner and ruined several pages. I couldn't afford to spend $250 for more toner. I needed 4 color cartridges. This was about 7a.m.Thursday morning. I needed the programs finalized by noontime to be shipped to L.A. by Friday !!! The 200 programs needed to be reprinted, folded and stapled. Some pages had already been printed, but needed to be finalized to be an 8-page, bi-folded, double-sided program with color images on special parchment paper. aaaahhhh!!! 1st, I flew to the Office Depot/Office Max printing service on Fort Apache & Trop. The guy sad he was too busy working on back orders and it couldn't be done that day. 2nd, flew to FedEx printing services on Flamingo near Fort Apache. They were willing but they couldn't figure out how to do the job, and said it couldn't be done that day. 3rd, flew to the UPS store. The manager immediately started to help me resolve my dilemma. We figured out how many pages needed to be reproduced to make a complete program and print the remaining to get a complete program. BEST of all he figured out how to manipulate (trick) the duplexer to fold and staple them to prevent manual folding and stapling 200 programs. All the staff pitched in to help me get the job done for my family... in about 2 hrs! OUTCOME: Beautiful! The final cost of the project was NOT over-priced. They also accepted my AARP card which helped tremendously. The customer service was exemplary...no negatives...friendly, smiling faces ...very helpful and accommodating. Most of all, when I entered the store I was very anxious and in tears and they were very sympathetic to my situation. They were awesome and professional at all times. I offered to call the store owner AND to complete a customer satisfaction survey but they don't even have one... Thus this lengthy review. read more

I am really confused by some of the bad reviews. I moved my mailbox over to this store about 3 years ago and EVERYONE has done a great job in there. I was reluctant to get my mail at another UPS franchise due to some bad experiences in Alaska. But, when I moved to Vegas I went to a no-name place and after 2 years they went out of business and they were not even going to tell me. All my business stationary had that address on it. So, when Wendy took over this store, she has hired some great people and it seems 95% of all her customers are super pleased with all of the efforts and services that her store provides. I have witnessed first hand some pretty moronic customers that really have no business even leaving their homes during the day but I realize that is a part of "retail". I have a promo business so I get packages on a daily basis and EVERYONE enthusiastically retrieves my packages to me......I should really pay more than I do but that is why I am writing this review. I cannot say enough nice things about how this business is run. Some of these other bad reviews are either non-specific or I am guessing not even this store. Came here today to pick up an order I had placed online and had selected the click & collect option at check out which is free since they always deliver my packages else where since my community has the same house numbers just on multiple streets. They said I had to pay 10$ to pick up this package which I though well why because when I had paid for my order online I had already paid for everything. I paid it anyway because I was annoyed and just wanted my package. Then I reached out to Asos where I had purchased my order and they had already said I had paid everything and just needed to show them my Id to pick up never ever was 10$ mentioned. I love this store. The staff are always friendly, helpful and highly efficient . Janet always has a smile and lively conversation for everyone . I always come with my package prepared but there are many people that visit the store and don't know where to begin . I am amazed at the level of patience that is provided to all customers regardless of level of preparation . I have my packages delivered to this store because they are a great deterrent to porch bandits . Packages are logged in and you are sent an email when received . I chose this store since it was across the street from my storage unit. I needed to ship 6 large boxes cross country. All three ladies up front were very pleasant and helpful. Later in the day the owner called telling me there was a problem with one of my boxes (my fault). She gave me a couple of options but being on a tight budget I opted for the least expensive option. Carrie Jean is one of the worst managers I have ever met Carrie is extremely unprofessional and it's seems she's running around like a chicken without a head I run a small business and since Carrie took over I've decided to do my business with someone who doesn't tell me " do you want me to notary this ! WOW! Absolutely an amazing experience all around. I pulled up with my truck and five packages, without asking one of the associates came outside and offered to assist. During the shipping process, Janet and her colleagues were a huge help and had great personalities. Two days after my shipment I was advised on being provided the wrong address. When I called the UPS store, Janet immediately assisted with the address change and never mentioned passing my call off or telling me I had to call someone else. Absolutely terrible service by Xiang and the "manager" Janet. I was told by Janet and need to learn how to interpret (while she struggled to pronounce the word). I have been in here several times and the service is always bad and it's always the same workers. I asked for the owners information and I was told to call the store and that I can't get owners information. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this place minus 5 stars, I would. Terrible customer service. Place is chaotic. They charged me $3.75 for two pieces of tape to tape my box and to print a sheet of paper. The sales person told me that was also including "computer usage"...ie. he sat at the computer to print my single sheet of paper. ARE YOU JOKING ME?!?!? Disgusting customer service. Charging customers $1 for a tiny bit of tape to seal an envelope is beyond ridiculous. I get charging if you're going to use a significant amount for a large package, but literally to seal an envelope. She used maybe 6 inches of tape at most. Absolutely pathetic. Usually I don't review places of business unrelated to food, but the exceptional service I received here was worthy of a yelp shout out. I needed to photo copy colored photos into black and white and I wasn't too familiar with converting color to a gray scale. This guy, Ramsin, was extremely helpful in getting the colors exactly how I wanted them and pretty much did the whole project for me and it came out great. The guy was extremely personable with customers and friendly, saying goodbye to each person as they left the store as he continued to help. The girl cashiering was also very helpful and friendly. Employees like this are hard to find (as in most establishments workers just go through the motions) and as a business owner myself, I would say the owner of this store is very fortunate. I left feeling like if I ever needed to use any service provided by a UPS store I would head here first without question. read more

I had a pre paid ups box. When I walked in, i noticed the bottom wasnt taped very well and asked the worker (a young Asian man) if he wouldn't mind taping the box. He said sure, and taped it. A piss poor job. Then he says, "that's $1". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? for a piece of tape? That was ridiculous. It would have been nice to know beforehand. Besides the fact that he didn't ring it up. They take the time to remember me and sometimes get my mail and packages ready AS I am walking in from my car. Very Rude. Terrible Customer Service. Jen or Janet, she is RUDE. I've tried to send my package to the different country using this store and my package is gone. She did not explain the difference between UPS service and USPS service and now she says she can't help me because I chose USPS service. She just said UPS is expensive, USPS service cheaper and it's going to take up to two weeks. I was not in rush so I chose USPS service then now I don't even know where my package is. When I called her, she was blaming me for not knowing the difference between UPS service and USPS service. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF NO ONE HAS EXPLAINED IT TO ME BEFORE? Terrible. Just terrible. They get the job done, but just barely. When I walked in, there was some confusion at the register over what change was given, who needed what, what the money was for. I think all the chaos was caused by a single chocolate bar.. After all of that was sorted out, I was greeted (sort of) by a young man. All I needed to get done was attach my pre-paid shipping label which I had already printed to my box that was being shipped via UPS and have it taped up. Apparently for taping a box they charge $1, which is fine. But I will say, that at other UPS locations, and any other shipping service I've used, I've never been charged for tape. While he's taping up the box, a lady who I can only assume was the manager starts inquiring about the whole chocolate confusion. I'm more or less ignored, which again.. I don't really mind since I'm just dropping off a box essentially.. and everyone just seems perplexed by the dollar from the chocolate bar. Nobody was rude, but it certainly wasn't as friendly as some of the other shipping businesses nearby. If they can't handle a chocolate bar purchase, it makes me nervous to leave valuable packages with them. read more
