I have been coming to this UPS for the past 12 years and everything was amazing when I say amazing I mean I loved this UPS. But as of the past year it has gone straight down the drain. I am not sure if it's because they have gotten new workers or maybe managment just doesn't care any more but it has gone from amazing to I wouldn't recommend this UPS to my worst enemy. Mail is hardly ever sorted properly packages are always misplaced or lost the phone will ring off the hook no matter how many times you call they wont pick up or they will and leave you on hold for more than 10 min and if you decide to go in a hour or two before closing the workers are on their phones texting. It has gotten to the point where I will NOT be renewing my box here. Good luck to everyone else because I am not the one. read more

Not sure why this place has 3 stars. I guess it's easier to have motivation to write a negative review than a positive review. Anyways, they have excellent customer service. It's quick and easy. Just don't go there during lunch hour to avoid long lines. read more

I live on a busy street and will not be a victim of porch pirates. I've been using this UPS store since 2011 for all of my deliveries. Although I do not have a box the $5 fee is a cheap price to pay for the peace of mind that my package is safe and sound. The entire staff is always friendly and courteous. read more

Sold me a $150 post office box that simply did not work, then refused to refund my money. I paid them up front for the mail box. Never in 1-1/2 months did it receive a single piece of mail. They had no idea why it wasn't working, and refused to refund my $150. Absolutely outrageous. read more

Called today to ask them a simple question regarding pricing for shipment. A lady picked up and I give her my question, then says she couldn't hear me so I repeat it. Mind you I was being polite as possible because I know how working customer service can be dreadful, so her attitude wasn't needed. Saying "for WHAT" and after explaining pricing she then says "got it?!" In a condescending manner. I just hung up on her because she already tried it twice. So I didn't instinctively ask for her name, I usually don't deal with rude employees working customer service. She had a mild to strong accent. Have her go through training again or please just have her fired. read more

Worst customer service of any UPS store. I missed my UPS delivery and had to pick up my package at this location. I went to pick up my package and was told that I can't pick up my package because the name on the package and my name on my ID does not match. Good grief, does it occur to the people working here that the person picking up the package might not be the person who placed the order?! I explained to the man who didn't want to give me the package that the person's name on the package label was one of my immediate family members and that I had the same last name and the same address. After looking at my ID again and comparing it to the package label, he finally gave me the package. Later that night I opened my package, only to find out that the order was shipped in 2 boxes. This UPS store only gave me one of my packages!!!!!!! So now I had to go back to this UPS store to pick up the remainder of my shipment. But now it was Saturday night and they are closed on Sunday, so I couldn't even get my package the next day. OMG! Total inconvenience and unacceptable service. read more

I am writing this review regarding the driver who is responsible to making deliveries to North LB. The driver says that he left my package at my front door, however he did not. He left my package at the front gate of a large apartment complex. I happened to go downstairs to check my mail and noticed my package laying there on the ground open with all of the contents stolen. I was at home all day waiting for my package. why are your drivers lying about the day they make deliveries as well as the location. Had your driver just brought my package to my front door it would not have gotten stolen. Now am I out of my package and also the money I spent to purchase these items. I tried calling your customer service number several times and they act like they cant do anything to resolve this issue. I also asked to speak to a manager and am still waiting for that phone call. I am a single parent and dont have money to just throw away because your drivers dont want to do their job. read more

This is my favorite UPS store. They are always happy to assist you in whatever you need from copies, faxes, shipping, and notary service. They always have a smile on their face when I come in and I go in there quite often. I visit them regularly and I'm always satisfied with their services. read more

Normally my go to UPS place but received terrible service on 10/7/17. I had 3 return barcodes which converts to printed return labels upon scanning at UPS. I had two of same product in one box, but Amazon provided a barcode for each separately. I asked the owner/manager (middle-aged woman normally there on the weekends) if I could put two labels on one package since they were the same product for a return. She said no - and that I needed have separate boxes for each because they only scan one label per box. Made sense. I unpacked everything and this is where it went downhill. It came down to an error in scanning and printing my labels. A line started out the door, and the manager got so frazzled that she didn't realize only 2 of 3 barcode/labels scanned & printed, and tried to blame it on me, saying I didn't give her 3 barcodes to scan. I did, but she insisted it was my mistake. Then because of that we got all the labels mixed up on the wrong packages. Turns out 1 of those labels didn't print because I was returning two of the same product back and just needed the one printed. So, she was wrong. Honest mistake, maybe it was correct in another context. And perhaps I should have double checked the labels before soliciting her advice in the first place. However, she was more worried about the line to pay attention to why the hiccup was happening, and in that frenzy she laid blame on me for every response I gave her. Before all of this chaos, I also brought shipping tape to the counter that I used on the boxes and planned on purchasing. When I had to repackage and re-tape everything correctly (mind you, I had it packed right in the first place before the debacle) she told me to hurry up and pay for the tape so she could help other customers. Yet we were in this predicament because she wasn't listening to what I was trying to sort out with her and chose to argue with me rather than solve the problem. I couldn't understand why she couldn't help other customers while I spent time peeling off all the misapplied labels and resealing the packages. I finally wrapped all the packages correctly gave it to her, and then stepped aside to the back of another line to purchase the tape since she kept hurrying me. That is when she snapped at me saying I needed to pay for the tape at HER register. I reminded her that she told me to step aside. She argued again with me again as the line got longer. At that point, I cut her off and told her she should stop talking so I can pay for the damn tape, and I actually told her to she needed improve her customer service skills. Everyone in line looked pissed about the hold up. I empathize when people get stressed when it is busy, but I don't care if I'm 100% wrong, you need to not come off as blaming the customer, rushing them, or getting into an argument about who is wrong or right in front of a other customers. Could have been easily resolved by taking a more assistive approach rather than adversarial. How about telling me to take my time while she helps others? Or offering to double check the barcodes to see why one of them was not printing? Things were good here until something went wrong, and this was a pretty epic failure in service and courtesy. Go to the other UPS down Atlantic if you require more attention. I'm not coming back again. Little does she remember that I've rented a mailbox there for 3 years and will be canceling that as well. read more

Had to drop off a couple packages for work and this was the closest ups store . The customer service was really good as they took care of me rather quickly and I was in and out in under 3 minutes . They seem to be rather busy as packages are piled up on the floor ready for shipment . read more

You can't use your UPS account number here so that's a bummer and they charge u for boxes when usps doesn't but service was fast and friendly read more

This place is a joke. I tried to ship a guitar to Hawaii. They quoted me $216.85 for UPS ground. Can you believe that? I asked if they could estimate how much USPS and they said at least $185. All that for a guitar that only weighed 18 lbs. I laughed and walked out. Ended up going to the plain old post office down the street and mailed it for $28. I will NEVER go to this place again. Had a very nice experience even though the store was busy customer service was excellent and I got my shipping done quickly

I have been to this store many times and every time I leave in disappointment. The location was convenient for me, but after several encounters with the Asian lady that is always there (possibly the owner) I decided to take my business elsewhere. She is hasty, fussy, rude, and her ability to resolve a customers issue is less than satisfactory. Yesterday, after not coming to the store in over a year, I stopped by to drop a package off. I waited in line along with five other people as she appeared to be the only one working in the store. I could tell that the other people had been waiting for a while because of their body language and sighs that revealed their frustration! I decided to leave because I could tell it was going to take a while. Against my better judgement, I came back later to try and drop the package off. The same lady told me that she could not scan my package because the label was faded and because they had already come for pick up and it was too late. Now I'm no genius, but why wouldn't she just hold it until the next pickup? I was in disbelief that once again she was less than helpful and she began fussing at me with a ton of excuses and taking up more of my time. Needless to say I went to another UPS store (further south on Atlantic Avenue next to CVS) that didn't give me a single issue! They took my package, scanned it, and away it went. It's clear to me that this woman does not want my business, which is no problem for me, because I will gladly spend my money elsewhere! read more

After being denied shipping by FedEx, I went a few blocks down the street to the UPS Store. They were great. Extremely helpful and even went through options with me. Gentlemen saw my packaging and asked why it had duct tape, I explained its just to double tape. He verified and said no problem! Swiped my Corp. Amex and done deal. The store is never packed as a matter of fact there is never a line at all the different times I have been in there. The people behind the counter are friendly and will help you when you walk in and need any help with your packaging needs. They sell boxes, tape and other supplies. You can bring in your own box and they will tape it for you and send it off. read more

I received a replacement Direct TV box and was given a UPS mailing label to return the old one to the company. I went to this UPS store and showed them the package with the UPS label affixed. They abruptly told me that "We can't mail that here--you have to take that to the Post Office!" I did and then received a $49 bill the next month from Direct TV as the Post Office often takes over a month to return these types of items and Direct TV did not understand why this store would not accept their package. I still don't understand their rudeness and am theorizing that they couldn't get a fee for mailing a prepaid UPS package and I will use a different UPS store in the future. read more

Had important documents notorized here and they were done incorrectly. When I went in for a refund and explanation I was told the manager is only there on Saturdays and that the notary was seasonal and does not work at this office. No refund or apology was given. This store is completely unprofessional and has lost my business. read more

I have to start by saying this is the first review I've even written on Yelp, but felt it was absolutely necessary to save others from the multiple disasters I've encountered at this store! I had to get a Livescan done for an application I was submitting to the Physical Therapy Board of California to clear me to work and sign up for my licensing exam in October. I originally went into the store to have my Livescan done on 6/3/14. One of the employees Caroline helped me. She was nice, but seemed to have some difficulty with my paperwork and had to re-do the fingerprints multiple times so they would come out clear. On my paperwork I checked both boxes that showed I needed these scans sent to the Department of Justice and the FBI, since it was made clear to me that sometimes Livescan operators forget to click the box sending it to the FBI (all electronic). Once my Livescan was completed, I made sure to double check with Caroline that she sent my prints to both departments. She told me there was no way to double check the electronic system, but that she was sure she did. Well, 4 weeks go by and I get a letter from the PT Board of California stating that the Livescan operator in fact DID NOT send my prints to the FBI. I was informed that I needed to go back and get my Livescan done again. Frustrated, I ended up going back on 7/1/14. I explained to Caroline what had happened and that I needed to re-do my prints. She told me she wouldn't charge me, but didn't understand why I wasn't informed sooner that my prints weren't sent to the FBI. Already frustrated by the situation, I let her comment roll off my back, and proceeded to re-do my prints. I left the store thinking everything was fine. After 45 days of waiting for my 2nd set of prints to clear, I called the PT Board and asked them why my application was being held up. They informed me that my 2nd set of prints weren't clear enough, and that I needed to get a 3RD LIVESCAN DONE. By this time I was infuriated. I ended up taking my business to another store to get my prints done, which cleared in 1 day. When I called this store to let them know I needed a refund for the Livescan, the manager Annie gave me a hard time. She asked if I had the original receipt, which of course I couldn't find. She said that if she could find a copy of the receipt she would give me a refund. I ended up going into the store last Friday (8/15/14) when the manager Annie was there, and showed her all the paperwork I had received proving that my Livescan was indeed rejected twice. She told me she would need to call the Department of Justice, because as far as she knew "If they took the money from her store already, she couldn't give me a refund." INSANITY! I stood my ground and insisted I get a refund. After calling the DOJ, she in fact decided to give me my refund, as she knew I was right all along. FINALLY, I could be done with this process. She gives me my refund, and I leave the store. What happens next? I check my credit card statement 2 days later to find out that my card had not been refunded, but was in fact CHARGED $75 instead. I call the next day and explained I needed 2 refunds now. The gentleman that answered said "no problem, I'll make a note that you need 2 refunds." I let him know that I could only come in this Thursday (today) because I work late the other times they were open, and he said that it wasn't an issue, that anyone in the store could give me my refunds. Well, after work today I rush to the store to get my 2 refunds. Caroline told me she needed to check with the manager first before refunding me. Fine. After speaking with the manager, Annie, Caroline states "I'm sorry, but the manager Annie needs you to come back when she's in the store to give you a refund, she will not authorize me to do so." Infuriated, I had Caroline call the manager back so I can speak with her directly. I speak with Annie, she dismisses my request to authorize the refund, states that she needs to do the refund to check that there wasn't an error in the computer system and I'll just have to come back. I explain to her that I drove straight from work an hour away to get there before they closed and that I couldn't guarantee I could get there again when she was there. I was told "well you need to come to our business, I cannot come to your house to give you your money back." I was completely blown away by her reaction, and after arguing with her for 5 minutes I agreed to come back when she was there to get my refunds. Not once did I receive an apology for my inconvenience. My frustration was completely disregarded. Such a nightmare! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS STORE!! read more
