The owner and his assistant are very nice and very helpful in choosing how to ship your packages. Prices vary and they know them all. They will even do touch-up with tape to make sure it's sturdy and meets the shipping company's standards. I have been coming in here for a couple of years, it is especially convenient since it is close to my office and I am able to pop over and handle my business on my lunch breaks and or after work. Jeff is very friendly and extremely helpful. He can handle all your boxing, and packaging needs and makes sure to let you know of the best rate for either USPS/FedEx/or UPS. They also have PO Boxes available, key making, and notary service which I have not used so I can not speak about those services but sure makes it convenient. I made an appointment through Livescan for required fingerprinting at a location relatively close to me. It was mailboxes plus. Never been there before. I walked in thirteen minutes early. He comes out from the back, unfriendly. Told me to come back in ten minutes. I came back in ten minutes. He came out from the back, again unfriendly. He told me to put on my mask and give him the paperwork and an ID. I did. He gruffly said the form was incomplete and handed it back to me. There were three spots where I did not understand the abbreviations. I asked and he told me, obviously disliking this. As he took my fingerprints, I saw that the machine in most cases messaged that the print was "Rejected" and that there was "too much minutia". The man said nothing to me about this. He just continued taking prints. When he was "finished", I asked about the rejects. He said the DOJ may not accept my prints and, if not, they'll find another way to check me. And, then, he charged me $57. I've been fingerprinted before. Never a problem. I don't know if his machine is not working properly or what the problem was. Altogether an unpleasant experience. read more

Horrible customer service!! Avoid this place by all means. The guy that's always there never has a smile on his face and is just rude.

My wife needed fingerprinting done here and we forgot some paperwork. He allowed us to go home and fetch the paperwork even though it was our responsibility to have everything ready. Was executed very fast and is very nice there. He was also very helpful and answered questions nicely. My wife signed up for an extra service which required more payment, and the kind mister explained she didn't really need it. We ended up paying less. Will come back. read more

When I first came to Mailbox Plus (in Signal Hill) there was an older guy there who was the owner and he was very kind, helped me out when I had financial problems paying the rental fees, and was a very generous businessman a "mom and pop" style business where old fashioned american values held true. Well, this person sold the business to a younger man, who vowed to continue the tradition of excellent customer service, kind and generous interaction with the customers, and to be a generous businessman as well. The new owner (I forgot his name) is even better than the previous owner. Outstanding customer service, kindness and old fasioned american values towards people who enter the store for any need, this owner will bend over backward to help you!!!
