Drop off services were a hassle as well. There's no easy way to transport laundry baskets when you're in a wheelchair. Then I heard about Vogt the Cleaners and their pick up/drop off services. I'm picky about my laundry. One drop off service bleached my pink robe to a slightly off-white; another washed a red shirt in with the family's underwear. Whereas I didn't mind the pink bras and panties, I don't think my brother felt the same way about pink jockey shorts. It was a pleasure to find out that Vogt is equally picky. I simply replace my laundry in the bag and put the bin out on my front porch every Tuesday morning and it's returned on Thursday afternoon with everything fresh, clean and wonderfully folded. Clothes that should be on hangers are always on hangers. Is an absolute painless way to have wonderful laundry. The plans are reasonable, based on the number of your house home versus a certain poundage. Call them for the rates. They will keep your debit card on file to charge weekly and you can cancel service if/when you need to. Since I started using them months ago, there has been nothing improperly bleached and I've never had anything come back still stained. I really wish I knew their trick for folding T-shirts. They stay wrinkle free when I put them away. I really cannot recommend them highly enough. Call to get the rates and ask about any special concerns (allergy free detergent, special fabric softener, etc.)

They have some of the sweetest folks here and you can tell that the employees are passionate about what they do. I actually went in thinking I would have them scan and email my documents to my colleague but after realizing the cost for that Melody suggested overnighting it for cheaper cost. She was super helpful, friendly, sweet and professional. It was not cheap but still she saved me money and met my needs. The shop is in a small strip mall and a bit difficult to get to, mostly because there is a Starbucks located there with a drive through. So as you are driving to park the cars coming from the drive through are coming at you form the other way, So be careful in the lot. Also in the parking lot are the gas pumps from Kroger so kind of a lot going on in that lot. But overall a good experience with good service.

Owen handled my father's funeral last month and they were very warm and professional to work with…read more The minister talked to me and my children before the service throughout the morning to learn more about my father and using the things we told him he made an excellent funeral service and we were able to remember the many funny times we had with dad. I told him also about this song my dad always sang being silly "You'll never find..." and the minister knew right away that it was Lou Rawls. A while later they found me in the visitation and he called me to his office and he wanted to play the song for me. He had it on hand! He asked me if I wanted him to play it while we were exiting the service and I said yes! It was perfect. He even made me a copy of it to take home with me. These folks are wonderful. They also handled my grandmother's death in 2012 and I remember them being excellent then as well.

Yvonne was my funeral director handling every detail for my mother's service recently. She provided excellent customer service, helping me with all the minute details such as: - coordinating all details of the transportation of the body from PA to KY with PA funeral home - death certificates - obituary notice - visitation service - funeral service (every last detail including music/picture video/coordination of gathering at a restaurant afterwards) - burial and coordination with cemetery I cannot say enough good things about Yvonne and the staff at Owen Funeral Home. It does make a difference that they're family owned and operated. And, I might add, my mother's preparations were all handled via phone and email as I lived out of state. Again, every aspect was handled with care and respect to both my deceased parents and to my family. And, we are so very thankful for this during a stressful time.

FedEx was once a dependable company, but now every time I order something that is to be delivered…read moreby FedEx, it turns out to be a total disaster. I've had a package delivered to a wrong address on a totally different street. One was left by the road in front of a closed and locked gate after business hours (of course that package was never received). I've had to place a hold on other packages and pick them up myself due to driver incompetence. Now I have a driver claiming that the current order could not be delivered due to the business being closed at 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon. Our surveillance cameras can confirm that was a lie. I will no longer do business with any company that uses FedEx to deliver.
