UPS store is not a place I frequent unless I have to return something from Amazon or any other online order. This one is located in a smaller shopping center next to Dixie Manor. Usually I'm in and out at this place but, there was a line outside of people returning things. A sign on the door indicated if line is long or store is full to wait outside. I never had that happen before. It was cold outside and maybe waited 10 minutes so it wasn't all bad despite being cold outside. Once I made it to the front, the process was easy and the employee said they weren't gonna charge me for tape. I used my own tape to tape up the box so idk what that was all about. Just glad I was able to return my package with ease. read more

I dislike going to the post office above all other places, I prefer going here. Their prices are reasonable, they haven't lost anything, nothing has been broken or in poor condition when it arrived, and the staff is efficient. I've used this store a couple of times for notary services. Today I had an Amazon return and it was super easy. Showed them the return code from Amazon, they scanned it printed me a receipt and I was out the door! I loved that thy saw me coming in with a large box and encouraged me to put on scale rather than holding. I was in the store less than 2 mins and during Christmas season. I like this location, they are quick and helpful every time I've been in there. Usually it's to make copies or get a legal document Notarized by their Notary Public. I used AAA or my bank @ PNC before to get my documents Notarized until they both started acting like I was bothering them by getting something Notarized even though they advertise extensively that they provide this wonderful service to their customers. We had need of a notary right away after the notary at our local bank was not available. We walked in and within 10 minutes we had the document notarized and sent to the receiver. Very impressed with this place. They have also come through for us when we have needed oddly sized boxes for gifts or shipping. Although the local home improvement centers sell some we find they are usually too large and we find up filling it with stuffing, but this UPS store always gets us a working size that is best. read more

Per Josh's (store manager) request, I am closing-out this review with a re-cap of our two phone conversations. I contacted Josh to explain the details of the poor customer-service referenced in my initial review. Josh admitted that he was the employee that interacted with my mom, and he was sorry that she felt his behavior was unprofessional. He apologized to me, as well, and assured me that the store is always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. After specifying that the phrase, "That's your piece of the puzzle to figure out.", is not professional, courteous, or in any way acceptable for an employee (especially one in a leadership position) to say to a customer, while supposedly attempting to provide assistance, he admitted he made this statement but didn't find it unprofessional. Throughout both conversations he insisted he wanted to improve the customer-service at the store, but refused to accept the constructive feedback from this particular incident because, as he stated, "We did everything we could, we did nothing wrong.". Constructive feedback is crucial. Employees who understand this will accept criticism, learn from it, and use it to improve, since that's really the only way to get better. read more

Well, all I can say is that things must have obviously changed since the 1st/last/only review of this store was posted. I went in recently and was greeted and assisted by a young man named Austin. He was polite, thorough and answered all of our questions. Yes, there was a small line that developed from what seemed like a revolving door at the entrance.
