I used the notary service at the UPS store. Admittedly, I also brought some packages too something I regularly do here. But let's give them stars for a great attitude. I liked these guys! On Friday, it was an all male crew. my review is going to be focused mainly on the notary service because dropping off a UPS package should be a seamless experience and it is here. Few things that are convenient about this location, #1 being it's so simple to trip link here. There's Ralphs, CVS, Starbucks, & a number of eateries. #2 parking is free. Thank God. Hate nothing more than paying for parking for errands. Added perk that there is no parking structure. #3 I was able to book the notary appointment in advance. It made this really easy because I knew the notary would be there upon arrival. Another added benefit is the documents I executed required signatures of witnesses. My husband couldn't be a witness but the staff at the UPS location were able to witness the docs for me and they are able to list the storage address as their address for the witness signature, which is ideal. This was simple and easy! I would definitely recommend their notary services. I was even able to make copies right after wet signing everything. Perfect. read more

I just read this was the greatest UPS store and would have to agree. The friendliness and efficiency were so unexpected and appreciated. Also - thoroughness. One time I stopped by to return items after cancelling service with a few companies and the UPS rep recommended that i take photos of the receipts in case they were lost. I followed his advice. I had back up ready when said company claimed they didn't receive my returned items and I owed them X amount of dollars. A gem in the BU. read more

I love these guys (and the occasional girl). I have had a box there since they opened and have everything shipped to that address. I get a TON of packages and have never had an incident or loss. It is small and they have to make the best out of the space that they have, but they are always nice, helpful and get the job done!! To the person who complained about the heat and gave them a single star - the "owner" responsible for the A/c is the mall management company and has nothing to do with UPS. That was an unfair rating. And the other one star was from someone upset that she did not get her ticket forwarded. They make it clear when you get your box that they do not forward mail. It is ones own job to notify the DMV, retirement plan administrators and all others that you moved, not UPS! read more

Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to die slowly and horribly in a locked vehicle in the middle of summer? Wonder no more! Come in to this UPS store and experience it for yourself! It is absolutely disgusting to have people work in this weather with no AC, not to mention being a customer and having to stand in line with a heavy box, sweating until becoming dangerously dehydrated. The woman at the counter was very kind and personable so I asked her if the AC was broken and she said the owner refuses to fix it!! I couldn't believe it! What kind of animal let's people suffer like this? I have half a mind to report this place to the authorities for abuse. read more

Absolutely appalling. This is a 2-part complaint, so bear with me. I had to mail a package to a destination on Malibu Rd. I didn't realize, since the entrance to this store is on PCH, that I was actually sending this to a P.O. box INSIDE this UPS location. These box addresses are designed to seem like regular street addresses, so it's an easy mistake to make. The kid helping me didn't realize either that I was shipping to the very location we were standing in. He insisted that even if I paid to overnight it, it wouldn't arrive at the destination (i.e. 3 feet to the left) for several days, since it was a saturday. I ended up paying something like $20. I tracked the package as it left the UPS Store, went all over the Valley, and then returned to very same UPS Store. Annoying, right? I went in to talk to the manager. I wasn't upset, or demanding a refund. i just wanted an acknowledgment that it was a silly mistake. His response? Literally: "Shouldn't you know the address of where you're standing?" Really? This was my fault? Boy, do I feel stupid. I'm sure this guy knows the address of every single business he walks into. One thing is for sure though: If it was my job to send and receive mail, you can bet I would recognize the address of my own business. I left and decided not to make a big deal out of it. But then today I returned, this time with an envelope for the very same box. The manager recognized me (I'm in there every week). I gave the name of the recipient and the box number, but said I wasn't 100% sure that the number was correct. The manager told me he couldn't confirm or deny that my friend had a box there, but he would put it in the box number I had mentioned. The CORRECT response would have been, "I'll make sure it gets to the right box." Instead, he coldly tells me I can take my chances, essentially playing mailbox roulette, even though HE KNOWS that I know my friend has a box there. I understand company policy and the value of privacy, but this guy is just useless. I told them to go ahead and put the letter in the wrong box, and I stormed out. I tried calling back to sort it out, but I was just confronted with apathy. Or stupidity. Take your pick. I'll be shocked if my friend gets her letter. Unfortunately, I have to wait until Monday before I can contact UPS customer service to ask if my experience is an accurate reflection of their service standards. read more

I went in to get passport photos today and it cost about $22 post tax for 2 photos. Online it says UPS photos should cost $12. I did not ask how much it cost before getting them done because I assumed it was $12 as it says online. Not sure what happened here or why I paid almost double the price. DUDE(TTE)! Zack & Reggie hooked me up. Great customer service. So relieving to deal with a can do attitude when mailing valuables. They were so understanding. I called at 5:58 when they closed at 6. I had a package that had to be scanned that day (Amazon returns, ya know?) They waited for me to show up I took 10 minutes instead of 5 and they still waited!! Hard to find employees that will extend that kindness to a stranger. My experience at this UPS store fixed my terrible day. Highest marks! read more

Small, confined space. I rent a box here and often have to wait in line behind walk-in customers just to get my packages. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great way to have packages delivered and signed for in a secure location instead of up at the house where I've had deliveries stolen. Recently ran into a ridiculous glitch whereby the UPS website lets you make appointments for this location that can't be fulfilled because the wrong availability times are listed. Manager Zack says he has complained to corporate about this and gotten no response. This doesn't surprise me as my experience with UPS as a corporation over the years has bordered on outright fraud, like charging you sometimes TWICE as much for postage as you'd pay DIRECTLY ONLINE for printing the same label from ups.com. They also will overcharge you for insurance and then if you have a large claim for damage, they will simply refuse to pay. This happened to me and I had to pay a lawyer $5,000 to collect on a damaged $15,000 painting. They demanded proof of value with paperwork and receipts goIng back 30 years. So if you have an opportunity to go elsewhere, I recommend you do. These stores are not corporate owned but unfortunately when you slap a big sign on your business with the corporate logo, you're gonna sink or swim based on both your own reputation as well as theirs. read more

This is a very poorly designed store. There is only one entrance so all the packages go in and out the same door. There is always a line. It does not mater what time of day or how many guys are working the store. So you stand there with your package and play a game of dodge with the worker bringing packages in and out. You have to wait to drop off a prepaid package; can't just put it down because you will get yelled at for putting it in the wrong place. I live about a mile for this store and do a lot of amazon shopping. So I return. If Amazon lets me select a USPS return label, I always do that, because it is so much easier to go next store to the US post office. The lines are shorter and the people are not rude. I always ship at the post office for the same reason. I have an amazon return that I to take to the UPS store and I that is way I am writing this, I really do not want to go back. I fear the UPS store. I even stopped ordering clothes for Amazon for a while. read more

This was one of the weirdest/worst customer service experiences that I have ever had. Jerry is the man that helped me and he was incredibly condescending and rude and not helpful. He treated me like I was stupid and when I asked if they sell boxes he pretty much laughed and was not kind in the slightest. No one else in the store was helping us or reacting and it was incredibly unprofessional and dehumanizing. I would not recommend this store because of how awful I was treated. read more

I would've given 5 stars because the entire year I lived in Malibu, these guys were great. I had signed up for a box and they gave me excellent service and knew me by name. The big problem just reared it's head recently....8 months after I moved and closed my box. I went there, handed in my key, got my deposit back and left my forwarding address. Then, just a month ago, I got pulled over by a cop, saying I missed a court date and had a fine. Super freaked out as I am super responsible. The cop said I got a carpool violation and it had been sent to the Malibu address. I never got it. Ok. Fluke, right? Today, I got a statement from my PARS acct (retirement fund) and they sent me a check from my acct to roll over into another acct. But it was sent to the Malibu address and I never received it. So, I decided to call the USP store. Surprise! They have a stack of my mail sitting in the PO Box. NO ONE forwarded it. No one bothered to contact me. They had my new address. They're now sending it to me and closing the box. Duh. AND, they made me pay to forward it. I think they knocked off a few bucks, but their mistake costs me hundreds in fines. I'm torn. Again, the service was great. The guys were awesome. But somehow, this whole experience makes me think that I wouldn't do it again. read more

Ok..long story short.. I was in T.O. for a Drs appt. So I took my Amazon returns to the UPS Store at Moorpark and Janss Road.. a bald man told me that it would cost me $3 to use the computer 2 pull up my account and print the return labels.. I said that I usually just send them from my phone to their email and Malibu and they print them no problem.. he said I could do that but for them to receive it they would have to use the computer to print them and that would cost me $3 plus the cost of the printed labels.. I said no thanks and went to Calabasas they wanted to charge me $2 to use the computer plus the price of the printed labels.. so I just went home to Malibu called up the Malibu store which was closing in 5 minutes said I was on my way..Nima the assistant manager said he would wait for me to get there before closing the doors.. I emailed the labels to him, printed them no problem, just charge me for the copies.. I always dreaded having to go and and Mail Packages before.. Nima has always been so quick and accommodating..They never keep you waiting either.. read more
