I was here yesterday to get a notary signed and sent out!! first of all I want to say I barley go to usps to send things out I usually go to ups to scan and drop of packages that I prepaid for.. anyways I came in with my envelope prepared, address and sticker and everything... mind you im kinda distracted with other things but I told the girl who helped me that I need a notary signed and sent out. she asked me which I wanted to pay for and I ask the price difference and about the packaging it comes with. so shes telling me the prices then shows me an envelope, she looks down at my envelope, pauses and proceeds to say we would need to put it in a different envelope yada yada.. and im going along STILL not realizing that I dont even need to pay for this to be sent out but she continues to go with the charging me!! so im waiting and I realize this other lady in the back kinda looking at me crazy and im wondering why.. I proceed. then it hits me! WAIT I dont even need to be charged for this.. the girl helping me says nothing and removes the charge and continues to charge me only for the notary.. so before I leave I ask her "so just to make sure because I have this sticker on it, yall can send it out and im good. because thats me basically paying for it" she says "yes" so I leave and while im driving it dawns on me that this girl was gonna charge me and not say a thing about my sticker being on there, even after she noticed it was there after she told me i would need to put it in a different envelope.. then it makes sense to why the other girl in the bck is looking crazy because she can also hear and see everything going on!! I just wanna say I never never get on here to write these type of long reviews or even negative ones period but when I realize this I was very upset. because this is two employees noticing this and instead of giving good customer service they look at u crazy instead of trying to help!! and I will say this even if they didnt "notice" which im %100 they did the people behind the counter need to be more attentive when it comes to things like this because I wouldve been charged and had to return and get a refund, but what if I never even noticed?? thats money gone and u dont know what when or how people got things going on. this is very unprofessional and not ok at all!! read more

I've been coming to the UPS store in Sudley Rd since I moved to Manassas in 2019. They are always kind and helpful with anything I come to the store for: passport photos, packages, fingerprints for a new job, the list goes on. However, they went above and beyond when I had an important wedding gift to mail to NY overnight. They made sure I had the correct packaging and worked with UPS partners in NYC when we realized the address I was given was partially incorrect. Thank you UPS Sudley Road! What a nice place with nice people and all services that a small business can need for packing shipping getting stuff moved printed etc. Yesterday I was in there and they asked if I had an AAA card because I could save on a print job - I was undecided between b/w and color. I chose color even though it was much more expensive because the AAA discount brought the price down enough. I needed to get in and out of here quickly and was very pleased when I walked through the door to be greeted by a very professional young lady with a 'hello, may I help you?'. I go to this UPS store regularly, mostly to ship return packages sent by Amazon or EBay. I was in there today to ship my brother's birthday gift. I asked them if they had any tape to finish packing the box I had just picked up to put the present inside. They kindly said that they would tape it for me. It was a gift and Maybe it's just me being paranoid but I told the young man that I wanted to tape it closed myself. He then directed me to a display area where there would be tape. The area I was directed to was where I CAN BUY TAPE. I asked them if they just had a tape gun I could use? No, if I tape it myself, then I need to buy tape. What's the difference? I am already paying for the shipment, now they want to nickel and dime me on tape? Very bad customer service. I used to work the service counter for FedEx and we would never be this cheap or have this bad of service. I won't come back to this UPS store ever again. You must really love your tape. I was in and out in less than 60 seconds. Literally at 4:30pm on a weekday. Got my receipt, gave him the label and he handled everything else. Perfect! This location has bad parking though, it's dangerous because you can't see when cars are coming. read more

But today, because I was saving on gas, I decided to try out the Fedex branch nearer our office. Big mistake! I'm not going back to that store again. Preface: I worked for UPS for a short time and I like the company. This is an isolated instance of mismanagement. Unfortunately, the owner of this UPS store is not trustworthy. On 12/22, I dropped off two packages to be shipped for Christmas delivery. He told me guaranteed delivery would run $200 and was cheaper than the Post Office. That was too much, so I used his store's partnership to send them priority mail via USPS for arrival on 12/26. I later discovered USPS could have taken delivery on 12/23 and delivered by 12/24 for $80 (Priority Mail Express 1 day). When confronted with this information he was belligerent, unfriendly, and committed to his original (inaccurate) position. He misrepresented the rates of his business partner (USPS) to engage us in a transaction we would not have otherwise chosen. Whether this was a result of incompetence or malice is of little matter. I will not use this UPS store for any services in the future, and given the proximity of FedEx and the Post Office, I am far more likely to choose an entirely different carrier than to seek out another UPS Store. read more

Worst service. Asked to repack my item and they did not. Item broke in transit. Now I'm out $450 and my UPS insurance claim was denied. Store owner is rude and lies about the situation. Be aware that these are franchises so you have no recourse with UPS if something goes wrong. read more

Chris at this location is racist and rude! He barely made eye contact, his tone of voice was demeaning, and he didn't even respond when i THANKED HIM FOR HIS SERVICE. I Stayed and observed the way he interacted with the next 4 customers, all of whom were white, and it was a completely different tone.
