I've been driving around a package to return to UPS for likely a week. I stopped by the location in Manchester because I was doing some unrelated things in the area. This store is located in a plaza with a ton of available parking anywhere you look. It appears like none of the businesses were very busy this afternoon. It is also conveniently located just an easy turn off the highway. The inside is a lot more spacious than other locations. There are a lot of mailboxes. There was one customer ahead of me in line. I handed my package and showed the associate the QR code. That was it, super fast and easy. I was good to go. read more

I have been coming here for so many years it used to be called Mailboxes Etc when I first came. It's been the same owner entire time (guessing 25 years). Staff is always helpful and amazing overall. I use them mostly for shipping via UPS and online returns. They have many other services though including PO Boxes, copiers, faxing, notary, packing and office supplies. Have always liked this place and glad to have one locally. They know shipping. read more

Charged me $6 to print 1 page. Just needed to print the return label for a free return. They had me email them the 1 page pdf, they printed it, and then told me after the fact that alone was $6. Could have gone to staples for 10 cents. Ripoff. read more

I went there 6/14 to mail a larger item. I had packed it as a box within a box. The original amount to ship would have been 90.00 so I asked a very nice young man could I take the box out of the box so he could give me a cost of the smaller box inside - he was so nice and said yes. i went off to the side and proceeded to take the smaller box out - a man came from the back wearing an AirPod and said ma'am you can not pack here , I said I'm not packing in taking out to get a price on the smaller item. He said I don't care your getting peanuts everywhere - I said sir I'm not, he said I don't care. I said can I see your policy he said no im telling it to you . I then had the nice young man get me a price for the smaller box and the other man told him we don't let people do that here - I said do what - he was being nice and getting me another price. I than asked him why he was so mad - that I had only dropped 8 peanuts on the floor and I picked them up. I than said why are you being so mean the guy was being so nice. He told me i was giving him an attitude and I once again said sir I was not giving you an attitude. I was explaining to you that I was not packaging anything up. He then made an inappropriate comment about my size and body shape leave the store to never come back. I have been to this store before and this man always has an irritable edge and always makes you feel I've never had a full on interaction with him before like I did today. For a store employee whether he's a manager or an owner to tell somebody what a policy is and then when somebody asks him to verify the policy and he's telling them no is highly inappropriate unprofessional and it's also highly inappropriate and unprofessional for him to make any comments about my body size shape at all. I am highly confident that if I had a male with me, he would've not been speaking to me the way that he was as he was not allowing me to get any words out, and he was consistently interrupting me and calling me disrespectful. Individuals like him should not be allowed to work with a general public. I do a lot of shipping so now this is a huge inconvenience for me as I have to travel out of my town to go to another UPS. read more

I had a cooler I needed to return to Amazon. It needed to be dropped off at an official UPS store. Went to this store and asked them to box it. They looked and told me it would cost "north of $90" to make a box. I was dumbfounded and said "$90 for a cardboard box?" One guy, who I think is the lead guy or manager said very snippily "Yes, we need to cut two boxes and put them together, and the labor!" I asked again, "Really, $90?" He responded angrily, "Yes, it will take an hour and that's labor!" I said that was ridiculous. He then said, "Well then just take it home and box it yourself and bring it back!" I picked up the cooler, said I would do just that but I will never bring anything back there again, and added some expletives. He then said I am never allowed to return to the store again, and as I was going out the door I turned around, called him the vulgar term for anal orifice, and left. I really don't like to leave negative reviews but my experience today at this location warrants it! I went in to return a package. I didn't realize until AFTER I left that I brought the packing slip and not the return label. I don't know if the guy thought I was trying to pull a fast one or what but when I started questioning why he was measuring my package, I was immediately DISMISSED. The notary, balding thing guy, turned into a huge rude dick after my daughter (who's on the spectrum) took off one of their 6ft distance stickers from the floor, it was already peeling off. Like they can't print another one, it's one of their services. Then denied to sign my document because I supposedly needed a witness, mind you I brought the same exact document a year ago and their other notary gave me zero issues, and neither did my bank when I turned them in. Earlier there used to be a gentleman who was pretty good, very helpful. Now I don't see him anymore but there is another little thinner guy who is very rude. There was huge traffic today and I reached exactly at 5pm. I parked at 4:59 and was at their door at 5. He was smoking outside and he said it's closed. I could see people inside. You don't even have this much humanity to let the person in when you saw that she had reached already and you have customers inside still. No wonder the store has bad reviews. read more

The notary at this location is rude and incompetent. He insisted I needed two witnesses and would not listen to me when I tried to explain for the form I had that the notary was the witness. He wouldn't even look at the form where it clearly explained that. I left, went directly to another notary a few miles away and had no difficulty at all. read more

UPS left a slip on my door saying they left a package at the UPS Store. They do not follow the rules on the UPS website for this situation. UPS says the slip that was left on the door and your ID is what you need to retrieve your package. I did so several times, but was unable to get the package. These guys make up their own rules. As previous reviewers said, they are unprofessional and rude. I cannot recommend using this location of the UPS Store. I will not use them again. read more

Called for an auction house pick up pack and ship. Extremely slow (26 days to receive) and very expensive for the service $130.00 for a total pack weight of 10 pounds. I use this type of service across the country with UPS Stores daily and this place is way over priced . They made 2 shipments instead of combining to one box easily done but more expensive the way they did it one piece was a rolled tube of art the other a red box as you see in the picture they would have easily fit in one box so I feel I was overcharged on one box packing for one box and shipping for one box I did not need . I wont use this location again and encourage others to find another shipper. Just received an email from them stating that the 2 pieces could not fit in one box ( my picture shows it does ) and the box is an adjustable size. No excuse or justification . read more

Drove here 1/2 hour drive to return packages to amazon that needed to be in the mail today. The "manager" (said he was Zachary Leon Sullivan, no name tag) told me that he couldnt take the return. He couldn't print more than one label for it. Amazon sent this stuff in multiple boxes and the return should have issued multiple labels. Ugh. Not UPS's fault. But trying to remedy the situation quick I asked how much it would be for a box and tape. $25!!! for him to package it for me. I've got a family to feed, that's food for my kids. Nope, Next option. My husband ran next door for a cardboard box then ran back. manager was busy, I asked another employee which roll of tape is cheapest. $3.18. Deal!,That employee was helpful and even asked if we needto borrow scissors! Almost done transferring the few items into the larger box when manager suddenly starts berating us that we can't "package" things in the store and that we have to leave the store with our boxes that we are about to tape closed. I told him that we were nearly done, and proceeded to finish the last piece of tape. We were over to the side of the store and not in the way of any other customers. He kept yelling at us that it is store policy that we can't "package" anything in the store... even with their tape?!? Um... Why on earth do they sell tape and packaging supplies then?! It was cold as heck outside and we literally just had to stick a piece of tape. Plus at that point it was just about closing time/6:00 (there were several other customers in the store still too so it's not as if we were holding them up from closing) And by his behavior it seemed likely that he would lock the door on us if we stepped outside. He became really angry and started telling us loudly that he wasn't going to accept our package now since we "disobeyed" him. Holy cow this guy had a "little guy with a bit of authority" complex. At this point I started filming because he was clearly an angry person and things were already escalating quickly just because we put a piece of tape that we were buying from the store, on a box that we were trying to mail. We brought the box up to the counter where he not only wouldn't take it but he also told the two other employees not to. I felt bad for them, it was clear by their looks that they knew he was being a jerk, but he's the "boss". I asked him to see the store policy that says that Customers can't use the tape that they purchased in the store to tape their package closed, he yelled that he doesn't "have to do anything for me". To summarize, he spent the next 20 minutes screaming at me. He accused me (I can only assume because I was filming and he was trying to justify berating a customer) of calling him a "retard" which I didn't, and would NEVER do. I haven't used that word since I was 12 years old. I also have many friends with neurodiverse children there is no way in hell I would say that. Not to mention that I had no reason to insult him at that point even if I WAS that kind of person, I was taping a box and minding my own business and had responded to his demands that we take the box outside by saying that I would prefer not to. He threatened to call the police on me for "trespassing". Even had the phone in his hand at one point to which I told him to "go ahead". I told him that I would leave happily once I got his manager/the proprietors name. I'm not usually the "talk to your manager" type but the way this guy was treating us over TAPING A BOX was insane! This ordeal cost me gas driving 1/2 hour each way, and a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff I was returning to amazon and now missed the deadline. So I asked for the name of his boss. Anyone in the customer service industry is familiar with such a request. Initially he said "Craig" but wouldn't give a last name. When asked a minute later for the name he made several sarcastic remarks implying that I was stupid for not remembering the "simple name" he had already said. Told me I was "full of shit". When I asked him if he would please scan my barcode so that this could be done and neither of us would hold up the other any further he said "I don't think a chair would hold you up". Which he then confirmed was a "fat joke". He wouldnt give me the owner's name despite asking him as polite as I could many times. He wouldn't even take my money for the tape so that we wouldn't be stealing it from his company. I am still in shock that someone would treat a customer this way. He was possibly the nastiest person I have encountered in a business. I finally noticed a blank card in the bottom of the plastic tray on the side of the counter that holds the scissors. It was a card for, Craig, the proprietor. I will be calling him tomorrow to let him know what kind of employee he has representing him and his business. read more

They are my go to people for shipping, notary, and copying services. They can handle complete boxing and shipping of unusually sized or shaped items. It's like having an office staff of can-do people for those of us who work remotely. read more

I had a very good experience here. Unlike the post office, there was no line. Unlike the post office , the clerk was happy and looked me in the eye and talked to me. I needed to ship a rather large bundle--a 10 piece comforter/bed sheet set and was just dreading it, finding a box big enough, taping it, getting the shipping label on there correctly...ugh. However the UPS Store clerk just took it for me, gave me my receipt and proof of shipment and sent me on my way--they did ALL the work. That showed in the price tag too though, I definitely could have saved about half if I had done it myself but I wouldn't have the peace of mind...and I probably would have procrastinated for several more weeks. I highly recommend the UPS store for large or unusual shipments--they'll make it easy. Oh and apparently all the employees are notaries and they have a document shredding service through Iron Mountain. That may be useful to me in the future. read more

Visited this location attempting to return two packages back to amazon. I initiated two separate returns for two separate orders and the ups driver left a label that had both orders on one label. I politely tried to explain this to the guy in the store and he immediately dismissed the situation and blamed it on Amazon and started to argue with me excessively. Now I'm sure amazon sends the information over electronically and ups prints their labels to give to customers and maybe they printed it wrong. This guy was not entertaining that notion and kept blaming amazon and would not do anything to help me rectify the situation. He then ignored me and helped the next customer! This guy does not need to be a representative of ups working with the public. In what customer service oriented business is it ok to start arguing with a customer!? I arrived at the UPS at 4:58 PM. As I was approaching the door I saw one man hand keys to another man and they begin locking the door. I went up to him and said please, can you take this box? He said if it's Amazon I can't I already shut down all the computers. I think this is horrible customer service because he turned away me and another customer after me when he clearly shut down everything prior to 5 PM. Avoid this location if you can. read more

I rarely write reviews but I felt like the customer service at this particular store was below satisfactory. After receiving a damaged box that was delivered in front of the garage and left in the rain, I soon realized after plugging the item inside the receptacle that the item was damaged and did not work (possibly from the package being left outside in the rain without cover). Fast forward to today 1/25/2020 at 2:23 pm I finally had time to mail the package back to the sender. However when I showed up with the box the guy at the register stated that I never received the box in this condition and stated that UPS would never deliver an item in that condition and that I would need to purchase a new box to put the items in. I had tape inside the car so I got the tape and taped around the entire box. Something I would've thought the guy working in customer service would have done. After waiting in line for an additional 5-10 min. I gave him the box after taping it, he then stated that the product will probably not make it back and I responded that it would've been great if the delivery person thought the same way when they delivered my package damaged and left out in the rain. The main issue I had was that he was insinuating that I was lying. I had nothing to gain from lying about a damaged box but yet he felt like it was okay to argue with me about this. Completely unprofessional. I definitely think the person working there could've done a better job delivering a message and not blaming the customer for what he believed was false. I have been a loyal customer with UPS and never had a issue like this. This particular person may need to take a refresher training if he's going to continue to work there. I'm one voice but I'm sure there have been others who have fallen victim of his unhelpful and unprofessional behavior. read more

Payed way to much for them to pack, ship, and put insurance on my hundred year old clock .then when the clock was damaged I got nothing but excuses from them why it wasn't worth anything. I've used this service several times and it's always easy - from just dropping off a pre-paid UPS shipment for an online return to sending something out myself. It's always fast and easy. Most recently I needed an unusual sized box to store something at home. I brought the dimensions I needed to the UPS store and the clerk helped me find the best sized box for my needs, which they also had right there in stock. Next I'll probably need to hit them up for a notary service, and am so glad they offer that. read more
