Review Highlights - The UPS Store

I had to make 60 shipments and prepare quite a few things at the store, and Alyah and Julissa were so helpful and patient with me.

I have been here a few times. It is a very convenient location and the store layout is typical…read morewhich makes it easy to find things. My biggest gripe is the printing area. The printers are almost always out of service and the staff there is useless, rude, and lacks accountability. I had a printing job submitted and I received a call which required me to come in to help explain to them what I wanted/what their website was telling them to do. The staff recommended i do it another way so I came back the next day and things were missing, tabs weren't labeled, and my double sided document became single sided making it 3-4in thick! The staff blamed me for not correcting them even though they recommended me to XYZ to remedy the issues, then the manager blamed the website saying they weren't even supposed to put tabs in it, and then they went back to blaming me for all the issues. I ended up walking out and told them i'm not paying $100+ for something that is messed up. The manager was upset that I didn't want to pay but I would highly recommend never pay upfront at this location until you see the product. If i paid beforehand i am almost certain they would have told me to deal with ut.

My experience with Staples was absolutely terrible. I ordered a banner, and it was done. I asked if…read morethey could make some certain holes in it, and the guy said he could do it in an hour. came back in an hour and told me that his manager said it wasn't (a priority) because I was a buying customer, which I don't understand how that works. I came back to the store before it closed to check if it was done, but it wasn't. Someone else told me that it would be ready tomorrow, but there was nothing they could do about it. They were sorry for my experience with the manager saying that I wasn't a priority. When I came back four holes on top, five holes on the bottom, and not even at all, not centered at all. It seemed like they did a terrible job and just put it together and told me to take it and leave. I waited two days and came four times before it should have been ready, besides the banner being ready already. I just asked for some holes around the banner. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. They should have accommodated me and said, "Hey, sir, I'm sorry to hear that. We'll be done in an hour for literally just making holes on the banner. Let me know that there are 50 people in the line, and he can't assist me when there are five people on the floor.

Photo Works of Temecula is by far the best place to get your photos restored. I have been a…read morecustomer for at least 10 years. I am a genealogist and have had them restore numerous photographs that were torn, water damaged, and yellowed with age along with adding color to B&W photos. Their attention to detail is unprecedented; colorizing a b/w photo of my grandfather in WWI and making sure the color of his uniform was historically correct. I recently picked up a digitized and restored photo of my hs graduating class (40 yrs old) and it turned out beautifully. She is always professional, on time, and has great suggestions for my pictures - even to the extent of suggesting a less expensive way to print or restore that would give the same results. Bottom line..I will never go to anyone else for my photo needs. Photo works of Temecula is the best in the I if not So Cal. You'll be very pleased with their work.

I was told by the woman I spoke with that she is only in on Mondays & that I would be able to pick up the copied print the following Monday. I told her that is not going to work with the time frame I was on and asked if she knew of any other shops that are available more than once a week, she gave me attitude and said "I don't know, you can go to a drug store." Obviously if I wanted drug store quality prints I'd just make the print at home with my PC. REALLY??? That's your definition of customer service??? I'm an independent contractor. A licensed cosmetologist to be exact. And if I have a client calling about something I cannot deliver on or I am unavailable, I will refer them out to someone else that reputable in my industry. And I know that we all know others in our industry. This woman's attitude sounded more like I was bothering her. If you can't accommodate mass customers or if it's just bothersome, then you probably shouldn't have your business listed on yelp. One Star. That's my opinion. Service is EVERYTHING. You could have been a little more kind and I never would have even bothered to yelp this convo....

Then I suddenly started having problems receiving important business mail and packages. Because it was becoming such a serious problem, I began asking senders to use tracking so I could figure out what was happening. That is when I discovered that deliveries addressed to my business were being refused at this location. When I called to address the situation, the employee I spoke with gave me different explanations -- first suggesting there was no box number, then questioning whether my name was associated with the box. Instead of simply acknowledging the issue and helping resolve it, I felt like I was being patronized and given excuses. For someone running a business, this is not a minor inconvenience. Missing and refused mail can cost thousands of dollars, damage business relationships and partnerships, and jeopardize important opportunities. I should not have to track every piece of mail just to make sure the location I am paying to receive it at is actually accepting it. After finally getting to the bottom of what has been happening, I no longer feel comfortable trusting this location with my business mail. I will be changing my business address and taking my mailbox elsewhere. Very disappointing, especially after being a customer here for so long.
