I will add more onto my review since their "Business Customer Service" replied to my review- The owner told me "you can go home," after I questioned why they were trying to charge me $4 for a 4 inch piece of tape for the top of my box. I had my credit card in hand, ready to pay for my $3 printed shipping label, as I always do. "Please know that our pricing is based on the high-quality materials, expert labor." - Yeah, "expert labor" is really needed to slap a piece of "high quality" tape on the top of my box. I'm not even paying with my own money, but off principle alone, I'm driving 10 minutes to the next UPS where they don't try to nickel and dime every customer that walks in. I've been to a UPS in several different states, and all happily taped the top of my box with no questions asked. read more

We've dropped prepaid returns off at this store many times over the past 17 years and everyone has been helpful and pleasant. Today, a woman with blonde teased hair was at the counter. I held the package up to hand it to her and she literally grabbed it from me and placed it PREPAID label down on the scale. She then looks at me and says well, where's the label? I said it's on the other side. Do you want a receipt? Yes please. Looking down at the package she says have a nice day, in a fake "I'm required to say this" way! As I turned and walked out, the 2 customers in line gave a look that they heard and were also surprised by her attitude. Rude, not helpful or pleasant. I'll go back to the postal annex on Mission Trail or Cyn Hills Rd. If you don't like your job, leave it for someone who would appreciate it and do it with a smile and a friendly attitude! read more

I was in line right when it opened at 8 am. There were 3 people ahead of me. The worker whose name started with an R (couldn't understand her while she was yelling at me.) She was very stressed out that she was the only one there and made it clear to all the customers that were there. I honestly felt bad for her. I was in line for almost 20 mins and she told me that one of my packages needed tape on top. I asked her if there was any way she could put tape on it since i was in line for almost 20 mins. She stated no company policy. I'm packaging it all up and all she needed to do was to scan a barcode, and put one piece of tape on it. I proceeded to go get tape and when i came back in she was helping another customer. I asked if I was done she said no i gave her 2 packages and only 1 barcode. I then told her no, the other package is labeled. I told her that its not my fault that she is so stressed, I asked for her name and she gave me the managers name and told me that good luck trying to fire me , I'm the best UPS worker there is. I understand company policy but its ridiculous standing in line for almost 20 mins hearing her complain to customers about how management always has her open alone and she's so stressed. Take that up with management. You don't treat customers that way just because you are stressed and overwhelmed. This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVCE I have ever experienced. read more

So I had an Amazon return, it was in a box like it needed to be, the top was not sealed. The dipshit working the register said, "you can buy a roll of tape for $4.99 to seal the top" ! Made an appointment through the UPS website to get live scanned. Website had an appointment first thing Monday morning at 9am. Show up about half an hour early and girl at the counter says, you'll have to come back at 10am. But wait, I have a 9am appointment. And she says, we don't have anyone scheduled to do live scans until 10am. I called three surrounding UPS stores and only 1 of them actually schedules live scans to correspond with what the actual website has available. That doesn't make any sense. The UPS website has one schedule but the stores get to make up whatever schedule they want? That seems like a pretty big inconvenience towards the customer. read more

This is a service most of us use and were so used to going to UPS sometimes we forget to say thank you to the people who work here. My husband and I ( mostly my husband gets this chore) go to this UPS frequently. It's close to our home and the folks who work here are so friendly and efficient. Like most of us, we buy a lot of things online so we have a fair amount of returns from time to time. There are a few ladies that are working here pretty much every time we drop stuff off. No matter how busy this store is everyone who's working are so sweet! No matter if people complain or what's going on these women are extremely positive and do their best to keep everyone happy. This would be a tough job for me, but wow, these women always stay positive. In a nutshell; 3, female customers inside this store asked an elderly lady where her accent was from. A few words where said and then they started yelling at her; go home to your f'n country. Do you even have a Visa? Should I call immigration? Are you actually legal to be here at this store? ....and many other 'strange' things. She didn't engage in this 'yelling' but she gave some quick, semi sarcastic, very short 'come backs' such as; uh oh, getting loud now, aren't you? What's your problem? Why would you even ask me that? Shut up. -No profanity or threats from her!- At one point, she looked at all employees and told them that she was shocked they had not stepped in, stopping this Insanity from the get go, when the 'manager' , angrily responded to only her.....to just be quiet, get done with her business and if she don't like this store, she should just leave. She asked, why he would tell her that and his response was simply childish , like...he had never seen her in his store, so she could just go elsewhere and apparently was the cause for the problem ( he said much more.....) The lady said, she's been going to this store for many years, 2-3 x per week, which had nothing to do with what was happening there and I thought; i'snt that racial discrimination?.... well, she was getting done with her business at one of their registers... By now, these other 3, crazy customers joined forces in yelling strange, immigration related things at her at random now and at the end of all this, the one in the photo then stepped in front of her, slapping her, yes....she slapped her, while she was trying to walk out of this store. She also said that she will go outside with her right now, to give her a whooping.....I am guessing? Another woman, standing at the end of the customer line, also got into this German lady's face, putting her mouth to her phone and yelling in to it; go back to your f'n home country... while German lady was on the line with police. She kept yelling this over and over, while walking around until German lady was out of side. Well, still, this 'manager' seemed to be ok with her behavior, too. His focus was on his own annoyance and the 'foreigner in his store' and when she asked him to call the police for her, his response was; just leave.... This 'manager', William, seeming so very annoyed about all this but also, clearly having not been able to identify what was loudly happening there and escalated in to this German woman being racially discriminated against and getting slapped. She could have gotten seriously hurt inside this store! Police came to look at stores security video recordings for verification of assault. I hope this white trash whale woman, who was so obviously MAGA TRASH, gets prosecuted. German lady showed me and the officer a bruise on her wrist and tiny, hairline cracks on her cellphone screen, where this 'slapper' apparently hit German lady's cellphone with her hand. Shame on anyone, having been there today, witnessing these 3 crazy strangers, acting like Elsinore's finest, white trash and did not say anything to the store staff to stop this. Most shame to the UPS store staff and their so called 'manager'. He was asked to call the police and did nothing... wow! Not that any country should matter but i wonder how these women would have reacted to immigrants from countries that are 'slammed' on TV much more often, incld. this store 'manager' ? If someone can act like this, out of the blue, to a senior female and somehow awakens more 'craziness' in like minded , creating a now dangerous mob mentality, we are all in danger in this city, this store, in which nobody can feel safe now, in my opinion, because the staff or manager did not think that they had to at least ask everyone involved to just leave or call the police, at least after she was hit by one of their other customers. I have a clue to why it escalated so much; the manager definitely has a problem with 'foreigners', too and his non reacting empowered these crazies, I'd say. I am certain that these insane perpetrators are on some kind of government assistance and have no assets to even pay for anything, once convicted to do so. Sad, but reality nowadays. I left the German lady my information, in case she needs me as a witness for later. I don't know if the 'other sheeples' in that store reached out to her but I certainly did and I am not much older than this stores so called 'manager'. He handled this mayhem like a 10 year old who doesn't know better but ....and obviously, an African American employee is working there with him, too. Would you have reacted like you did if it was him, these crazies went after? You didn't think it mattered because this lady was a German, white woman, right? I am white, of Irish decent. What are the odds? Was just about to leave a review about last Sunday, when I saw this stores incident review and this stores responds to it! I was there, too! The response to what happened is not correct! This whale shaped woman started with this ridiculous immigration crap towards this other female customer and none of the employees seemed to care. No employee asked any of these ladies involved to leave and that foreigner lady did call the police on her own, after being hit by this whale shaped woman. Rhe manager is definitely to blame. He could have stopped that mean, discriminating crap but he didn't. Back to my last Sundays store experience. Found out that the store is open on Sundays and rushed over there for a quick drop off. Long line. Very long line. 1 employee. Not his fault that we all had to wait a very long time. He took care of each customer as good and as quickly as he could. I blame the store manager or owner, whoever is in charge of employee scheduling but I am just taking a quick guess here, having experienced how fantastic the store manager handled this incident of discriminating against another customer. He probably also doesn't care about more than 1 employee working in the store on Sundays. As he recommended himself on this incident day, if we dont like what's going on in this store, we can simply go to another store. I will have to now use FedEx or USPS. I need a notary. No worries, I thought, I'll just go to the UPS Store like last time. I logged online and through their website and drop down menus, I made an appointment for the following morning (see photo). I arrived 5 minutes early like my mom taught me. "Hi, I'm here for the 9am notary appointment" I announced as I approached the counter. The look on the young cashier's face was my first clue #Surprise. She proceeded to tell me the notary wouldn't be in until her normal time...at 11:00. I resigned myself to having to wait two hours. "Ok," I said. "Can I make an appointment for 11 then?" This was when she dropped (nicely) the other bomb. "We don't make appointments for notaries." Now, she was sweet as a peach pie in summer, and only telling me how it was. My issue is not with her, per se. The problem here is how this store conducts business is not accurately reflected on their website. I made plans, adjusted schedules to be on time, at the agreed upon time only to find out that either the store or corporate is running their own show. And neither show is convenient to paying customers; which I am not any more. I ended up at a different and independent notary and it worked wonderfully. At least I have UPS to thank for steering me toward a local business owner. read more

They said it would be a dollar initially but then it rang up $6.99. Then there was tax, of course, all for a shipment that was supposed to have a prepaid label. This I believe is Gacha tactics. We have a corporate account that ships a lot thru UPS nationwide and I've never had an issue. They are always busy, which is good, but I think they rush when they see a line. The UPS Store - Bam! - Shipping Centers Near Me - Lake Elsinore, California

Today, I arrived at the UPS store right before closing. I was running late because the closest freeway offramp was closed and the detour took me 2 miles up the freeway to the next off ramp. But I made it back just in time, and ran through the parking lot to arrive at the door at 5:58pm. Although the store closes at 6:00pm, the door was already locked so I knocked and waved. The employee inside obviously saw me, but ignored me. I just had a really quick Amazon return and wanted to ask if they could please process it for me. The employee continued to ignore me, but since there were other customers in the store, I waited for them to exit. When they walked out, I entered and attempted to explain the situation, but the female employee immediately pulled down the locking gate, right in my face and started say "No, you have to leave. Get out!". It was still just a couple of minutes past 6pm , but apparently it was more important to close shop, then to provide good quality customer service. Even if the employee had denied my request, I deserved the right to speak, especially since I arrived at the door 2 minutes before closing. With so many different options in the shipping industry, the quality of customer service sets one business apart from another. After my experience today, I think I'll be finding another company to do business with. read more

This is my second negative review regarding returns. I bought a few items on Amazon that I returned at this location and have had 2 of those items not get delivered to Amazon to complete my refund. Either Amazon is not scanning items being returned to them or this store has thieves stealing items after they print a return label and scan it. read more

I live across the street from the UPS store on magnolia, Cross Street is Jurupa. The store is supposed to be open until 7pm. I walked 2 packages over just to drop off. The postage was already paid. When I tried to open the door at 6:50, it was locked and the employees inside ignored me completely. I think they should be taught how to tell time. I'm pissed!!! I work all day and I really needed to drop off my package. Also, when I drop off packages, there are 2 employees who tell me they can't give me a receipt. Yet I could of sworn that I've been given a drop off receipt from a girl who works at night. The kids you have working in there have absolutely no customer service skills. I wouldn't want them representing my company. The African American guy is the rudest of them all. He barely speaks to you, and most always just ignores you when you're standing at the counter.
