I sent a package and my package got lost. I called this location and a girl answered and i got the worst customer service. All she did was tell me to call 1800 UPS. No effort at all. This is where I go to drop off Amazon returns. I print the label, use the box my item came in, and drop it off at the counter. I could probably just leave the thing on the counter without talking to the clerk, but I like to make eye contact so the guy knows my package is there ready to be scanned. If I'm really anal about it, I can get a receipt to make sure my return is processed correctly. I guess since the clerks really don't do shit for me, it's hard to say whether they're competent or friendly or whatever when it comes to actually helping with packing and shipping. I'll tell you one thing, though. Those dudes can receive the shit out of a package that's already been 100 percent prepared for shipping. read more

I've stopped at this location a few times for various reasons. Recently, I stopped in to have documents notarized and was very convenient. I've also stopped in to drop of cable boxes and they took care of packing shipping it with ease. The wait time is minimal, no long lines and staff behind the counter are always willing to help. Even though this location is small, they carry all types shipping needs, packages and boxes with all shapes and sizes, paper and pens. You'll find plenty of parking in the lot just outside of the store adjacent to Vons supermarket. read more

I thought this location would be better and faster than the location on foothill but now I absolutely prefer that location way way better. Employees have absolutely zero sense of urgency or respect. Just on their personal cellphones, taking their sweet time walking around -- while customers wait in line for simple returns. A better system is needed ASAP. This is ridiculous. read more

Waited 10 mins to be acknowledged while an employee chatted on the phone...another employee came out and looked surprised that there was a person in the store...weird. She starts to help me, another customer walks in and she immediately starts to help her while still helping me. This UPS location is much more than a community oriented group of dedicated individuals, they go above and beyond for EVERYONE! Even if I'm in Downtown and need to stop in to drop off a return or quick package shipment, I hold off until I get to this Montrose UPS location because of how professional and dedicated the team is. I've had packages mislabeled and they have taken the time to hold the box and alert me of the problem saving me weeks and weeks of time and they are always working late, being kind enough for me to take care of my business even after they have officially closed. I really appreciate Zoly and his team of dedicated professionals. Can't recommend them enough!! I switched my mailbox from another location that was closer to my house because of how safe and secure I felt with my mail and packages in Zoly's care. Never have I had someone be so rude to me while I'm asking simple, straight forward questions. While assisting me, Zoly (and I remember his name because he's horrible to me every time I go in there) answers the phone, scolds some woman on the other end and throws the phone across the counter. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Every time I go in there I regret it but unfortunately I need to mail out items for my company. NEVER again. The negative reviews are correct. I rec'd a note from UPS that 6 packages were ready for pickup. 2 hours later I headed to pick up. Was left standing as the owner (Zoly) was ignoring me for a few minutes and did not even say "I will be right with you" (standard procedure from him). Strike 1. Then he calls me over and I tell him I have 6 packages to pick up. He acts like I am offending him/bothering him by picking up my packages and then challenges me that it's 6. Yes, I have 6 notices and 6 separate tracking numbers. He proceeds to half-@assedly throw a bunch of boxes around that were in a heap to his right. He can only find 3. I ask what do I do since they signed for 6? Bearded guy jumps in and says "the delivery service has insurance". Zero care. Zero help. Umm, thanks? Strike 2. No one tried to keep looking, no one offered assistance. NOTHING. I ask for the 3 and as I am walking out I SEE the other 3 just sitting there in plain view. Strike 3. I am SUPER annoyed at this point as their actions have said nothing but "I DON'T GIVE A %$^$#$#". How was I, the customer, able to locate the boxes YOU signed for in YOUR store? I said they are "F-ing right there!" and that I will never come here again (at this point there is a long line). I ask if Zoly is the owner and he says yes, so I reply he is very rude and unhelpful. Bearded guy then tells me am I rude and defends his boss saying he was super polite! WHAT? I got the rest and left. Never. Ever. Again. I will go to the Foothill location. read more

I purchased insurance for $1000 for an item. They damaged the item and are now refusing to pay up on the insurance. After 3 months of back and forth with this store and the corporate headquarters, I am now forced to take it to small claims court. DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM UPS, THEY WILL NOT HONOR IT!!!! Edited 2-28-17, A demand letter advising them to pay me within 10 days or I would file in small claims finally got me a check for the full amount. The employees at the store itself were helpful, it was the insurance division that was not helpful. So I would use the store itself but I would not buy insurance again. read more

Very upset. I had a package sent to this location and went to pick it up. When picking it up I was told there was a $5 pick up fee. Never heard of this before. So I had to pay for the shipping then use my gas to pick it up and pay a pick up fee. This place is ran by a snake and will never go there again. read more

Seriously.. this place has the worst customer service!! I created a shipment at home online thinking it to help make things move a bit smoother, save time etc. After having paid the shipping costs, for some reason the shipping label wouldn't print while the receipt did. I decided to take the receipt with me to the UPS store and see whether they could just print a label there instead. Not only were the staff unhelpful.. they had no idea what I was talking about??? The girl manning the counter looked super confused like a fish out of water as I explained carefully what I needed from them. The guy manning the other counter didn't even glance over and see if it was a matter he could help deal with either. Basically, they expected me to know how everything worked, deal with customer service and stop bugging them from doing their jobs...... which is to help people ship things? Makes me feel like i've wasted my time using their online service since the process in between is just so clunky. There's another UPS just a couple blocks away so i'm hoping they can help customers who are obviously clueless about shipping a bit better than this location did. read more

Just took a box in for shipment return and it was going to cost me $41. Diana turned my return into a work of art. She managed to cut down the box to the exact size it needed to be, making the shipment cost $29. She took the time and effort to do this skillfully and graciously. Worst mailing service ever. Wanted to mail a large framed portrait, figured i'd use a professional packaging service to get the job done right. They did a TERRIBLE job. My parents received it with the frame and glass shattered, damaging the family portrait canvas. It was completely ruined. Getting UPS to pay the insurance was a royal pain, took months to get the money, after they made me run around town getting receipts to prove its value, had my parents take photos of it to send to them, told my parents to hang onto the broken glass for weeks in case the auditors wanted to investigate,... only to cover a portion of the total amount. Terrible service, do not trust them with your stuff. read more
