Just like the other reviewers state, the guy that works at the front is so mean to customers. He snatches the packages from my hand and tells me how terrible Amazon is and consumers are for purchasing so many items. He not only yells at me, but every other person in line returning. I am extremely disappointed in the shipping service here I spoke with an associate who told me my package would arrive to its destination and I paid an expedited service to ensure it would arrive on the day the associate said (as it was time sensitive) When I called to check why my package was late, a different associate told me that the information the original associate told me was "inaccurate" .. I would have paid next day shipping if it was the only option, but the associate guaranteed my package's on time delivery so I trusted their word This put me at a loss and very frustrated. I don't understand why I was charged a premium, to not get a premium service I will never use this location again; and if you expect your shipments to arrive on time, I would recommend visiting another location or a different business altogether read more

I love going to this UPS location, the staff is always professional and friendly and I always feel better doing business with them. It's a smaller location with a smaller range of supplies (random office supplies other than packing material), but they are the kind of people who will try to help you figure out where you could source an item if they don't have it. They've always been helpful with my questions, and I've never had a problem with any of their employees. It also helps that it's located in a little minimall shopping area, so parking is not usually an issue and I can do a few errands in one location. POOR TOXIC SERVICE! CUSTOMERS BEWARE! I experienced a similar toxic issue today with the same tattooed female employee that has a track record of poor customer service complaints at this location. I gave the female employee several chances to de-escalate her aggressive tone and demonstrate proper customer service, but each time she aggressively over talked me and continued her condescending tone of chastising me for asking for help with an oversized Amazon return that I was instructed to bring to this location by an Amazon customer service rep. Out of pure frustration as a customer who was on a tight schedule and wasn't getting the help or communication I needed from this toxic employee, I took my business to another UPS Store location nearby and will never be back to the 2029 Verdugo Blvd, Montrose, CA location ever again due to the toxicity of this 1 employee with a long track record of complaints. However, I received great service and help from the UPS Store on 350 N Glendale Blvd, Glendale and highly recommend going there versus the Montrose location. There's also another location on 2629 Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta in case you've had a similar poor customer service experience at the Montrose location and would like other UPS Store options. I'm more inept to write positive reviews when businesses go above and beyond, but I'm taking the time to write a negative one today because this employee continues to exemplify poor behavior towards customers and caused unnecessary disruption to my day today when all I was looking for was some quick shipping service help. My message to the Owner is: How long are you going to let a toxic employee with a public track record of poor customer service complaints continue to decrease the bottom line of your business by driving your customers away? The metal head that works here is unprofessional (physically and verbally). He tells customers not to use Amazon, while also refusing to give receipts. Who does he think he is? He works for the man, he isn't the man. Do your job, and leave your opinions to yourself, no one cares. If he's so concerned about Amazon and big business and the wasting of paper to give receipts, then how about not working at a place that uses STYROFOAM PACKING PEANUTS, and probably uses more trees then the average business. The worst ups store I ever gone to my past 15 year of going weekly for work. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. Starting off with the manager he didn't care he was cussing while customers. The male that help me with my packages was giving me hard time with my receipts and my packages. He said next time you need to save your Amazon package from your work place. I am a online shopper Jjill, Clarins, Macy's and Amazon. I can't use the Montrose/ Glendale location anymore. The young man behind the counter is belittling if you are shipping back to Amazon. I am sure Ups must have a contract with Amazon which helps pay his salary. I really do not appreciate his opinion and feel it is very unprofessional. I went to drop off an Amazon return. Should be a quick in and out visit.. but the clerk felt the need to try and shame me for using Amazon.. he was telling me that I am supporting a company that is destroying the environment and the world. Then he tells me that I am also destroying the environment because my return will end up in a landfill. He told me that I should keep the product, which was defective (waste my money) and buy another one to replace it. The whole time I was in there, I had to listen to him rant and go off on me. I went here because I needed to have some documents scanned to a USB drive. I was helped immediately by Andrew and he had my documents scanned, and I had quite a few, in less than 10 minutes. He undid all of my documents so they could be scanned and then put them back together exactly how I brought them in. I go to this UPS store and the one in La Crescenta. Both stores have the best employees and customer service. They are always helpful, friendly and efficient. read more

This is an awesome UPS location! Everyone is great there, but Andrew is one of the best employees with whom I've interacted. He's always super helpful and sharp as a tack. He answers all my questions and provides really useful tips with packaging and sending shipments. Andrew is exceptional. While in the store, Andrew started helping me, in-between customers at his register when my CS employee said he didn't have an Android phone therefore he couldn't help me. Repeated attempts to e-mail a government form from their website to the UPS copier via my phone failed. Andrew, never pressured me to hurry up, or suggest that I come back later when I found a solution to my problem. Instead, he continued to problem solve with me in-between new customers. Taking care of each of us, concurrently. Even with another customer's input, nothing worked. After 20 minutes of fruitless effort, I was ready to leave. Andrew went back then reemerged from their work area, with THE form! "Is this what you need?" he asked. He had taken it upon himself to find and print the blank form that I HAD TO HAVE from his phone. I was only charged for my copy. Subsequently, I have found that the work I do through him at this UPS store (down to the smallest detail) matters to him and that matters to me. read more

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. These guys have always been efficient and helpful. They do get bombarded with Amazon package returns, but that's not something they have any control over. If you're trying to return a bunch of Amazon shit...just know it might take a minute. For those of us using UPS services for business purposes - we have to wait in line same as you. Seems really strange to take your anger out on people who are literally trying to help/provide a service. These guys work hard and always rocking some good tunes to help keep up the morale. He is the archetype of an ungrateful, rude, spoiled employee. He makes your business and you look bad. Second time I went to this location for Amazon returns and the same skinny white guy with light hair was SO rude. He said I had to bring boxes for Amazon returns. 1) no you dont, it says it when you initiate the return that its BOXLESS 2) he wouldn't print me my tracking information today. I told him the last time I dropped off my returns Amazon did not refund me and they asked me for tracking information to look up the returns. When I told him that he said "thats not true". I said ummm it is true? Why would I lie? He then said the tracking doesn't tell you anything but I could take a photo of the label if I wanted. As I was leaving I told him I was entitled to the printed tracking information and I said it wasn't my first amazon return, UPS always provides tracking info/a receipt if u want one, as I walked away. He then screamed "thats right!!! Keep walking!!!" Umm excuse me sir what did you want me to do? Turn around and start fist fighting you?? Absolutely ridiculous and SO rude!!! This UPS Store offers incredible customer service! I worked with Andrew twice last week and was impressed with his excellent assistance both times. During my first visit, it only took five minutes to mail two packages. During my second visit, he recommended using a smaller box which saved me $25! He even transferred my gifts into the smaller box and saved me from making a trip home to find a smaller box. Andrew and his team work efficiently. I won't go here again. Great location and parking but there is a "paper Nazi" who will NOT give you a receipt for your Amazon returns. I didn't catch his name but felt bad for the nervous, poor gal that works next to him. Her scanner wouldn't work properly so he used his for one of my 3 returns. She kindly gave me my receipts but whispered under her breath he would not. He thinks he's saving the planet LOL. I'll continue to go to my tiny UPS store on Glenoaks in Glendale.
