I decided to try this UPS Store, in Montrose, after having had a negative experience at the La Crescenta UPS Store. Luckly, service here was prompt and friendly. Same service was requested (return service to a very large online retailer) and I was helped quickly. Service was polite and friendly. The store was neat and clean. So I just left here and I probably won't go to this location ever again. The customer service was awful and the entire time I was doing my Amazon return, the front desk person was quite literally lecturing me on how terrible I was to use Amazon because it's bad for the planet. Who is the tall guy with longer brown hair? He is horrible. I will not be coming back to this UPS location. He has the personality of a cardboard box and is so rude and unhelpful. The biggest jerk. Is always put out when he actually had to work and provides no customer service or help to the customers. Whoever owns this place should be ashamed of having him on staff. I asked numerous people I know if they've encountered the same issue at this location and they all had the same thing to say, he is awful. Won't be taking my business there anymore. If you are shipping an Amazon shipment, the guy in the photo with the beard will berate you completely unprompted, and called me and all Amazon customers "children" for "supporting Bezos's evil empire" and went on a long rant about how he avoids using Amazon in his personal life and everyone else should too. This morning I went in to mail a package internationally since the other location in Glendale that I always go to was not able to do it. There were no customers at the store and I was called by a female employee to be assisted. I told her about my package which was some inexpensive jewelry and she started asking me questions and was nice enough to give me a quote before she begins the process. She gave me the rate and I asked her to proceed. She started asking questions from another enployee, the tall white guy with beard and glasses and he sounded so uninterested in answering her questions like he didn't even care. She kept on asking me more detailed questions and I advised her that I didn't have very exact details as I didn't know It'll be more complicated process. She was trying to be helpful and advising me that its needed for customs. She continued asking questions from that guy on how to proceed but that guy sounded so mean either ignoring her questions or giving her short unclear answers. The store was not even busy literally no one was there except people dropping off packages. At this point I'm stunned at this guys negative, unpleasant and rude attitude and behavior towards the other employee and also the fact his so unhelpful and looks miserable and the most ignorant guy I've ever seen. Then he sent the girl to assist a customer who came in and he started assisting me and he started asking me questions again on how many pieces of jewelry and the value of each and I told him that I advised the female employee I don't have the exact details I'm sorry. He walks away without even saying anything no guidance no nothing or at least tell me what's needed exactly. Then he comes back staring at me blankly. Initially he told the female employee just put a general description of the items no need for details then he starts asking me detailed questions. As I walk out, I thanked the female employee for her assistance and I tell the guy very politely and nicely and with a very calm tone of voice, "Sir, please be nicer to your customers next time and use your communication skills. " When he heard that, he raised his voice and goes ," Excuse me !!! You can't lecture me while walking out of the store, come back here". I was shocked at his unacceptable behavior as I'm walking towards my car, I can hear him be like "come back". He chased me out of the store but I got so scared, that I kept on walking without turning around. I was ready to call the cops. I have filed a complaint and I'm planning on calling the corporate office. I love this place! This is the only UPS i will go to. There were previous bad reviews about the anti amazon worker, but he is no longer there. I got used to him and eventually found him funny. The manager Zoly is courteous, works hard, always asks the right questions, is a fast multi tasker, and he even helps people carry packages inside. In the past year, I've had vision problems, and he's even caught my errors. They package and tape returns for you. If you don't have a mailing box or envelope, no worries because they recycle and will give you one at no charge. There is rarely a line because they are so efficient. Notary services and fingerprinte services are done expertly by Zoly. He helped me prepare several state medical license exam packets that needed fingerprints... none were rejected. Passport photos yes! Overall, it is a pleasure to visit this place. They remember you, make pleasant small talk when not busy, and are genuinely responsive going beyond what is needed as opposed to just doing their job putting in the time. I visited the UPS store where we encountered a highly unprofessional and distressing situation involving your employees. Upon entering the store, we approached the counter to inquire about packaging materials. We were met with hostile behavior from one of your employees, who aggressively snatched the tape from my hand without any explanation or courtesy. Her aggressive demeanor and the profanity-laced verbal attack that followed were completely uncalled for and left us feeling shocked and humiliated. As if that were not enough, we proceeded to inform the employee that we intended to return an Amazon product and were advised that the original packaging was sufficient. However, when we explained that the item arrived in its original packaging and all we needed to do was add a label, she responded with further aggression and began screaming and harassing us. It is worth noting that the other employees present at the time not only failed to intervene but actually encouraged and enabled her inappropriate behavior. Regrettably, we did not manage to obtain the name of the employee in question. However, she was easily identifiable due to her distinctive hair color, which ranged from blue to purple. I believe that such behavior from an employee is disgraceful and entirely unacceptable, regardless of any personal circumstances or frustrations they may be experiencing. As a loyal customer of UPS, I have always appreciated the quality of service and professionalism that your company strives to deliver. However, this incident has left me deeply disillusioned and concerned about the level of employee training and oversight within your organization. I kindly request that you take immediate action to address this matter. I expect a thorough investigation into the incident, appropriate disciplinary measures to be taken against the employee involved, and a reassessment of your training protocols to ensure incidents like this do not occur again in the future. Never in my life did I ever see myself writing a Yelp review for a UPS store, but Andrew and the staff at this location went above and beyond, in ways I never thought was possible with UPS. To begin, I had initially just went into the store to purchase some bubble wrap, so that I could wrap some packages and mail them myself via USPS. Andrew, one of the employees, explained to me that that may not be the most cost, efficient option, and that I should just bring my unwrapped items in, and let them take care of all of it for me. Per his request, that is exactly what I did. We spent the better part of the next hour and a half weighing, packaging and labeling all of my items. Andrew handled everything from start to finish, all while helping other customers in line, as well. Andrew always provided me with the option to purchase insurance, when applicable, and allowed me to choose my priority method with each package, so that I could choose the best option for me. At the end, I had two more items to mail, but I had to leave because I had a prior commitment. Andrew immediately offered to ship the packages for me, and just take my payment information over the phone later that evening. I took him up on that as well! I have never met a more personable, professional, friendly, customer service / front facing employee in my life. Andrew and the entire store all went above and beyond to make sure that my needs were met. I do not understand how anyone could give this store a bad review, but I would assume all of the bad reviews are from Amazon return customers, who do not fully understand the appropriate return process, and get frustrated when the procedure is not what they expected it to be. 5/5 Stars for this awesome store! read more

I really love this place. The people who work there are great, and very helpful. I walked in a week before Christmas Day (there busiest day of the year!) with five boxes to send and Angela was her namesake: an Angel. She greeted me with a smile, asked me how she could help me, and then was fantastic while doing so. I request to open a mailbox here and was refused service despite having sufficient identification and funds, Andrew denied me service and accused me of committing fraud and I hate to play the race card but he had no concerns when serving other customers of a different race. He claimed my ID was fake and that he called the "real" Thomas Riebs from the number on my package and I entered random numbers when I placed my order.
