I had a very frustrating experience with this UPS location. I shipped two packages from here to San Diego, California. One arrived correctly, but the second was marked as "delivered" even though my recipient never received it. There was also no delivery photo provided, which made the situation even more concerning. My husband went into the store to at least request a refund for the shipping cost since the package never actually made it. The employee working at the time said he couldn't start the claim, took my husband's information, and told him he would call or email us soon, which never happened. We never received any follow-up at all. For how expensive UPS shipping is, the customer service here is extremely disappointing. On a previous visit, the woman working was unwelcoming and very short. Overall, this location lacks accountability and basic customer care. Because of this experience, I will never use UPS to ship again ..at least not from this location. read more

I would highly recommend NOT USING UPS store 5125 on North Military. I mailed a gift to my granddaughter that never arrived, and instead she received someone else's package! When I reported the discrepancy, the store manager was highly defensive and argumentative, almost to the point of disputing my claim. When he finally asked me to give a written account with picture of the package she received, I provided it and weeks later was issued a compensation check in the wrong name. After a tremendous runaround by the store manager and the corporate office, I was finally compensated after over a month, and for an amount far below the lost package value that I provided. I will never use this service or UPS again! I have since switched to FedEx for my shipping needs. read more

Excellent customer service. There was one person working upfront on Friday evening. She was incredibly friendly and efficient helping 3 customers at the same time. I'd never printed a label at home and dropped off at a store before. She helped get the label on my package, printed a receipt and got me on my way. I had a painless experience returning my package. Amazon now has an option to return something without needing to repackage or label. You just have them scan the code that is sent to your email. Went in, the lady acknowledged me right away as she was still taking care of someone else. When it was my turn, she was very polite, scanned my code and handed my receipt. In and out! read more

I do a lot of amazon drop offs/pickups here, The same lady is always working here and she's always bubbly, knowledgable and makes for quick and smooth interactions, I've never ran into any long waits or issues at this location so I'll keep it at my favorite....unless that changes lol. read more

1/15/22 - First of all, a single person working on a busy day. Not her fault on that but it looks like she doesn't want to be there. She also has a problem dealing with certain customers. Really friendly towards some people, obviously not so much towards others. These are not problematic situations either. Just her attitude towards some people. Last time using this location for Amazon returns or anything. Amazon return #1 several months ago - told by Amazon no label needed, just the barcode on phone. Same employee, told that I need a label, period even though I could cite the amazon email and instructions. Amazon return #2 - 1/15 - Printed label and this time told that next time the box would have to be taped. At best, they only put one strip of tape on such returns or they charge. Again, nothing mentioned by amazon for this. New rules every time I go to this location for Amazon returns. Same employee, same attitude. read more

6/16/18: Went there to get a document notarized but needed to print it first. Their PC needed its browser updated, so I could not log on to Gmail to print it off. So, the associate suggested I go to Janaf to print it off & come all the way back to her to get it notarized. No thank you! Update your PC & stop inconveniencing your potential customers. read more

Clearing a few things up.... Shipping prices are set by MAIN UPS not the individual stores, services such as printing and faxing etc, and retail items ARE set by the owners and not the employees. Since they are all franchises, they vary. Amazon returns USUALLY have a QR code which is a scan with no printing of the label required, however, when items are shipped thru a third party or if the item has a battery, a label most likely will have to be printed. All of the stores charge for this service and varies w each individual store. Amazon has recently started putting DIRECTLY BELOW THE BARCODE...either CUSTOMER PACK or NO BOX NO LABEL this has nothing to do with the employees who work at the store. So dont yell at the employees and say ur gonna call Amazon and get them in trouble, bcuz it has NOTHING to do w them ull just sound idiotic. It's just how Amazon does things. Just read the instructions throughout. When u bring packages UNTAPED unless u are paying for shipping, some stores charge for taping...things in this world are not free, so especially if u are a frequent customer, just buy some tape and keep it in the car, it's really not a big deal. And finally, the experiences I've had w the employees is mostly good. Just remember that they just work there and are just following rules and doing their job and trying to help u. Teaching u how to use your own phone is not something they shld have to do, but still DO! Putting up w the attitudes they have to deal w is not fair, but they DO! Crap happens...late openings, having to close early, long lines...take a deep breath and try n remember...chill out n respect what they r trying to do...90% of the time ALONE, cuz that's just how it is at some stores, trying to keep a smile n help while dealing w difficult people ev day. Okay but definitely not the best UPS Store in the area. I've only been to this particular store one time but it was a very different feel from other UPS Stores I've visited. The store appeared to be staffed by only one gentleman which was fine since I was the only customer. I was just doing a return to Amazon so the transaction was easy and completed promptly but the whole time I was in the store it just had a cold and sterile feel. It was strictly business with no personal engagement. I guess I'm being kind of picky here but at other UPS Stores I'm always greeted warmly and engaged with some small talk or otherwise made to feel welcomed. I didn't get that here but at the end of the day my transaction was completed easily so I guess that's what really matters. read more

Can't ship packages by a UPS account number at this place. Apparently the only UPS center that can do it is the one in Virginia Beach. A UPS store should be able to handle this sort of business. 12/12/18 This UPS store is extremely overpriced. I walked in to get my guitar shipped and I was first told that the price would be 85.00, which I figured was reasonable. Apparently that was only for the box and packaging. The shipping cost was 90.00. The total price came out to around 180.00 with shipping. I thought that was absurd. 4/27/19... I would give ZERO stars if I could. I don't know who this lady was that was working in the store but she was so rude and had a terrible attitude. The customer in front of me was sending out air envelopes and wanted to know if they would be picked up today (4/27/19) since it was a Saturday (not an unreasonable question) and the employee rolled her eyes, slammed the envelopes down and mumbled as though the customer had asked her to jump off a bridge. Then when it was my turn the employee had the nerve to say the the place where I was sending my package to had employees and managers with attitudes and that's why she didn't work there anymore. Wake up lady!!! You're the one with the attitude so maybe that's why you don't work there anymore. Also, wake up UPS! This lady doesn't need to be the face of your company.
