Two of them were in the back talking and neither of them bothered to step up and wait on me or acknowledge me. The 3rd employee was off to the side on a computer. After a few minutes one walked up and did something on the register, still never greeted me smiled or said anything. Once employee finished doing whatever they were doing on register I was finally waited on. They charged me $66.47 for a package of marbles that could have easily fit in and shipped in a medium USPS flat rate priority box. I even said that to the hoarse-voiced lady on the phone. She claimed that it wouldn't fit and that it was too heavy to ship that way. It was 9 lbs. I have had those same boxes packed full of heavy reloading lead shipped to me. Bottom line is that it should not have been a dollar over $45 at the very most including their fee, and I ship all the time. They also did an extremely poor packaging job. There was barely any cushion for vintage marbles. Two of the bags of marbles were busted open and all over in the box by the time I got them. The obviously repurposed packaging materials also smelled like mold. Absolutely pathetic. Never again.

I got up this morning and went to the Ship Center and watched my items get boxed up, added packaging to protect during shipping and my price out the door was $38.63. They also have a rewards program!! They have Penske trucks for rental! I've used that service as well! Also they make Banners, shirts, and any goodies you may need to promote your business! I've also used this service! All of this to say ~ I won't waste my Friday evenings after the Ship Center has closed going to UPS thInking it might be convenient this one time. IT definitely was not! Yea so, excuse me but who is the logistics company and who is the customer? Let's ask the customer to move product around, which is their job. As far as I am concerned, once you accept the package, you need to figure out how it get's where it needs to go. You don't say oh hey customer can you help us out and come waste your gas, and more importantly time running this package to OUR facility. Sure let me get right on that for you when God knows you have trucks going past Belden EVERY SINGLE DAY. Makes total sense if you want to lose any hope of future business from me and have this put out to the public so others are aware of the poor customer service. It looks like the package hasn't moved in 4 days from here so I guess I will have to do their job and move the package yet again. Well, god willing it's the last time I ever have to deal with Fedex.
