If I could leave zero stars I would. The gentleman working the front counter was extremely rude and was not about helping at all. I came in with my hands full carrying two boxes, and when I tried to put them on the counter, he yelled at me, "Up here. No, not next to the computer." Then he had no patience when I was trying to look at my printing label. Told me I shouldn't have put the boxes on the counter until I was ready and that I should be ready before. Went in with an Amazon box to return UPS. Gentlemen working in the counter tried to sell me a roll of tape when I said I did not need a roll of tape, he offered to tape it for me for two dollars. I have tape at home and at my job I could've taped it for free. When he would not tape it for me, he said it was a family business, nice way to lose future customers. Good luck, sir. read more

I use UPS a lot and having them in town is especially convenient. The owner, who is basically the only one who is ever there, is consistently in a bad mood. He is always complaining to his customers about how much he works, how he cannot find good help (wonder why) and acts extremely annoyed if you have a question or a problem. I have consistently seen him being rude to customers and has acted very inappropriately. Again, I'm there a lot. I don't expect people to go elsewhere as his store is super convenient, but I am heading elsewhere. No one deserves to be treated this way. Shame on him. read more

Had the pleasure( insert sarcasm) of dealing with John, the UPS franchise owner who apparently has beef with Amazon. I walked in, ready to drop off my Amazon return, and John looked at me like I had just asked him to deliver a pizza to the moon. The Amazon instructions are clear- remove all barcodes and labels, we have all seen this before He said, 'We don't accept Amazon packages here without the original label,' as if I had just suggested I was trying to return a live raccoon. I had a qr code and the ORIGINAL box. He tried to upsell me in a bigger box, not sure how that would have helped, and proceeded to charge other customers in line $2 to slap a piece of tape on a box. He reminded me of a certain soup owner from Seinfeld when he asked me to get out of line and instructed the nice cashier to take the next customer. Not only was I confused, but John's face showed more disdain than I've ever seen for an inanimate object. I'm starting to think John is in some kind of secret war with Jeff Bezos. If you're looking to return an Amazon package, just make sure you're not in John's line of fire - Wakefield UPS accepted the package. No questions asked. read more

The business manager keeps making excuses. No one asked anyone to break laws. But your staffs behavior is not acceptable. There is professional mannerism. Throwing papers at someones face and making racist remarks has nothing to do with breaking any laws. A simple : we can't assist' would have sufficed. This is the best ups store I have ever used. The costumer service is incredible. They're very helpful and thorough. They are patient in answering questions. I have never felt rushed. I once had a package get lost in the mail and they continued to track it for me and follow up with regular phone calls until the issue was fully resolved. I have to wonder if they lie, or if UPS just sucks. Whatever they tell you the delivery time will be, add a few days.

Let me set the stage. I practice architecture and prepare construction plans old school. Meaning drawn by hand not on computer. I had 11 original drawings and needed 2 copies. Since I was going to Home Depot and there was a Staples basically within 500 feet I took the plans there. They told me I had to leave them. OK. Can I pick them up tomorrow by 9AM? I got a definite yes. I arrived at Staples around 920AM and they were not ready. I spoke to a clerk expressing my displeasure for the delay. A male employee came over and she explained to him and he to me that they were not ready. These were dropped off yesterday afternoon. Plenty of time to make 2 copies of 11 original drawings. They actually started the job at 8AM the next day, the day they were to be picked up. So I am there to pick up copies and go off to meeting with client but they said 20 minutes more was needed. I was surprised to learn that the copies were only started 90 minutes prior. NEVER AGAIN. If you need pens, paper, office supplies, fine go to Staples. They did have 1 set of copies done and should be done in 20 minutes more. I retrieved the originals and told them to keep whatever copies they had made. I had to postpone client meeting to later in day. Customer service, something Staples needs to learn. In North Reading MA on route 28 there is a UPS store with a large format copier. I walked in and a gentleman greeted me i told him of my need, I have 11 originals and need 2 copies of each. 15 minutes later I left with all my copies. I also told him they will be getting all my large format printing from now on. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Normally very good, but discovered yesterday that you cannot ship on ups account number. This is not noted on website. Even though the stores are independently owned and operated, they are named ups and thus it is reasonable to expect a ups account to work there, especially if not otherwise forewarned. read more

I always had good experience with this location 153 main st north reading But today was horrible, I left without telling them that they guy was very rude. I went to drop of amazon return, ask them if they can tape it, that guy was Iike it's one dollar charge. I went to get a money from car. I said if i knew I would tape it at home. That guy said you want to go home and tape it and bring to back. One dollar charge is ok. That's not someone talks to customer like that. I will never go back to that store again. read more

They are still open, but they moved down the street. I found them on rt. 28 at the junction of rt. 62 (across from Rt. 62 if coming from Wilmington). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Color copies were much cheaper than what I paid elsewhere. read more
