I mailed a shoebox sized box from Fort Lauderdale to Wisconsin and the shipping took a week and the fee was over $50!! They didn't need to box my package or anything because I brought it in ready to ship. This place is outrageously expensive. I'll stick to the USPS next time. read more

I had an extremely frustrating and frankly unacceptable experience at this UPS Store location while attempting to notarize a court petition. I presented a valid foreign passport that is USCIS-stamped and contains a clearly visible U.S. visa -- which fully meets Florida's identification requirements for notarization. Despite this, the staff refused service and incorrectly insisted that only a U.S. ID would be accepted. Let's be clear: this is not a matter of store preference. Florida law explicitly allows notarization using a foreign passport with a USCIS stamp, and UPS's own published guidelines confirm acceptance of government-issued IDs written in Latin characters. When I pointed this out, instead of verifying the information or correcting their mistake, the staff dismissed the issue by saying that "UPS stores are franchises and don't have to follow all the rules." That statement alone is alarming. Notarization is a regulated legal act, not an optional service where employees can invent their own standards. The refusal felt less like a misunderstanding and more like a complete unwillingness to engage with someone presenting a foreign document, despite it being fully compliant. At best, this reflects a serious lack of training. At worst, it comes across as blatantly xenophobic. What makes this even more disappointing is how easily this could have been resolved with a basic level of professionalism: checking the law, reviewing internal guidelines, or simply listening. None of that happened. If you need notary services handled correctly and without bias, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. I attempted to do finger prints required for my work but the equipment doesn't work. Employee states "it hasn't worked all day" but didn't tell me that when I called to see if I needed an appointment. Employee would not clean the scanner, or allow me to wash my hands to see if that would help. They can't assist with refunds as another middle company was paid. The employee absolutely had no desire to provide customer service or assistance. Also she made me wait for her while she assisted another customer that arrived after me who needed notary services even though he said he was there early, before his appointment time. To start I have a walking disability so I use a walker, that being said I went into the store a few days before and asked if I was able to use the shredder while they were under construction, the gentleman said yes! Well I load up a laundry basket full, asked my sister on her lunch break to come help me carry it in so I can shred all my paperwork. Well, it's 7 lbs, $2. @ $14.00, not a bad price for a peace of mind! Go to the box that shows a shredder with the crisscrossing teeth on the front of it, start putting paper in and hear no shredding... try the one next to it, still no sound, hey you're shredders aren't working! Oh we have a third party shredder company that does our shredding (mind you I put 1/4 already in trying to shred) so I said why did you not tell me before I paid? The smart A** says "you should have asked more questions " I then told the young smart A**, oh I came in the other day and did ask and he never mentioned that part! So I then asked when is this going to be picked up to be shredded, oh about 3 weeks, then August 1st was mentioned today is July 22 (far cry from 3 weeks) NOW CONCERNED. This location is convenient but the staff like this can really hurt a business because there is enough stress in this world we don't need others to add to ours while just on a local errand! read more

walking in for the 1st time since the place got an upgrade. I have always dropped packages there, but of the wasn't sure exactly go. The guy behind the counter tells me to scan my box on the new machine. It kept coming up "See associate" the gentleman behind the counter is so rude. He comes over to me and tries to blame me saying ithat I'm scanning it wrong. all I'm doing is holding up a box to a red light. He attempted to do it 2 times and gets the same message I do on the screen. So didn't work for him either. so he ended up going behind the counter and scans it and then proceeded to tell me in front of everybody that I was holding it wrong I'm not sure what his problem is, but that man needs an attitude adjustment or a vacation or something read more

I have been going to this location for a few years. I kept coming back because of Al and Doug and their excellent service. I recently went back and foind out Doug is gone and Al had already left for the day. The service o received was subpar and the staff was not as friendly as Doug and Al. These guys deserve a lot of credit for the insane workload with which they have to contend - commercial returns (Amazon ad nauseam), packaging, printing, business customers, mailboxes, corporate policies, etc AND they're expected to provide quality customer service. Some days you can see it on their faces, but they power through. The whole team is really great, but I wanna give a special shoutout to Doug who's been there for years and despite his sassy attitude and sardonic fortitude, you can tell he really cares about his customers and will go above and beyond to provide them with the best possible value. I did not have a mailbox there or would I at this point. I needed one form of ID to have my fingerprints taken for my job and nothing to do with the mailbox. It was only a matter of time before their rudeness was directed toward me. Highly recommend! I have been coming to this UPS Store for a couple of years now, and they are very efficient, they always acknowledge that you have entered the store, they guide you if there is ever a line or issue, but what is always outstanding and consistent is their professionalism. They move quick, give you useful feedback, offer options for whichever service you need and make sure that their customers are taken care of. You can sense the camaraderie amongst the employees and many times I have witnessed them team tagging to avoid lines or long waits. They offer more services than I would have ever thought, their prices are not as high as used to believe and the fact that explain everything is always a plus. I've been coming to this location on commercial and Dixie for the last six months, and these boys are very fast, efficient and hard workers. They always take care of me. I had an incident a couple months ago, where my employer let me go, and I had to ship some equipment back to them, and they were able to alleviate some of the issues that I was having with my employer because my employer was being very difficult about how to handle the equipment. I'm really bad with names, but I pretty sure it was DOUG that helped me. There's three guys that work there and I need to learn their names because they are my favorite UPS people. I would like to comend employee Doug at the Northridge UPS store for his never failing to be friendly and completely fulfilling every job duty needed despite the fact he was by himself the day before the Christmas !! I rarely use this location but I had to deliver a specific package to be returned at this particular one. The man helping me was the owner (unknown to me at the time) he was abrasive from the beginning as well as unhelpful and pushy. I needed to tape a box to be sealed and put inside another box to be shipped for extra precaution and he wouldn't let me tape the first package (that I brought in myself) bc it would ruin the box? I asked to work with another gentleman for a smoother process and the owner refused to allow anybody to work with me. Awful way to conduct business. No emotional intelligence or control. This was the day before thanksgiving mind you. If you walk into this location and see a troll/gnome like grumpy old man w balding grey hair and blue eyes, just leave. This is the worst UPS store I've ever entered and if it had not been for my job sending me a repaid label, I would've walked out and refused to spend my money at this location. The UPS worker was solely managing the front counter and clearly appeared to not want to be there as he was unprofessional and rude to almost every customer. He yelled at someone who couldn't speak fluent English and asked them to move to the side when they attempted to use Google translate, yelled at another woman for holding the door open for a friend/family member and said that this wasn't their house, he yelled at someone who used the UPS tape without asking permission, and he made a very disrespectful hurry up hand gesture when speaking to someone on the phone and seemed to disconnect the call early. This worker was just so unpleasant and seemed to hate his job or was having an extremely bad day. I just had the most bizarre,nasty experience in my life. I went there to return an Amazon item that was a workout bench. I am a dwarf who was unable to dissemble the item and box it completely so the box closed. I had all items to be returned in the box and I asked them to start the process for my Amazon return. He said I wouldn't be able to return the item until it was repacked so that the box could close. I asked him to do it for me because my disability prevents me from doing it myself. He turned to my 12 year old daughter and said "is this your father? I'm sorry." I told him he should want to help me as a customer who obviously needs assistance and accommodation due to my disability. Then at this point another ups employee ordered me out of their store as if I was yelling or causing a disturbance. I was doing none of these things. Their hostility was just bizarre. Then he threw his alleged disability on my face which was not an apparent physical disability at all to claim he would never ask for someone to help him. For all I know he was lying about his disability. I saw a large man who could walk and talk perfectly fine. I will be contacting corporate. Today I spoke with the franchise owner and he seemed to be very understanding and concerned about his staff's behavior. He listened to my account with an open mind and promised to address his employees about their behavior. I told him I would hold off with notifying UPS corporate and Amazon about the matter to see if he holds his employees accountable. It's frustrating that they chose to act this way, yesterday. The employee could have sold me brand new packaging, a box and he would have received a generous tip. Instead he chose to risk his job. I appreciate the loyalty the owner has for his employees. The employee was immediately barking rules like he was a hall monitor at a rambunctious school. He didn't even take a moment to greet me. There was no "let's see how we can make this work" attitude at all which is required for customer service. But let's put a pin in that for a minute along with the fact that I am so obviously disabled and the packing I did do showed I tried to comply as best as possible. The main problem I have is what he said to my daughter who is only 12 and very sensitive. Everyone knows that trashing a 12 year old girl's father to the 12 year old girl is a no-go zone for everyone. When I told him to repack it for me he turned to my daughter and said "is this your father? I'm Sorry." He repeated this insult every time I effectively argued what his role needs to be at UPS when customers need help. I firmly believe he needs to lose his job or at least a suspension without pay. He does not have the demeanor for customer service. Not everyone does. He should take that time to reevaluate and find more suitable employment. I would love to show up again with the item so you can help me. But I didn't want to give your employee the satisfaction of not dealing with my package so I left it right outside the store so he would have to carry it in and throw it away. I still got my refund bc the Amazon lady was really appalled after I told her what happened to me and my daughter. It wasn't their scripted I'm sorry. You could tell she was sincerely horrified on my behalf. I'm not going to go to UPS corporate and Amazon about store #2072. Rating is more for company than store. I paid $70 for 2-day delivery on a package for a family member's birthday. Verified everything was correct- address, etc. the package arrived 4 days late. When I called the store they told me that even though UPS admits they made a 'sorting error' and sent it to the wrong place at first, my refund was denied because they 'don't guarantee' 2-day air deliveries will be on time. What on earth is the point of paying if that's the case? Company policy is garbage and paying for expedited delivery is a scam. read more

I really wish I could give zero stars, stopped at this UPS store, which is not my usual UPS store. I had 3 parcels to return from Amazon, which I printed a label for one of them and unfortunately could not tape the label on the box, and since most Amazon parcels are handed over without a box, I assumed it to not be a huge problem for the UPS store to tape the label onto the box when I got to the counter and handed back some unboxed item with QR codes the man ( I wish I had his name) didn't have a problem taking the items, although he did serve me hot and bothered and it didn't make it any better that I couldn't get my phone to lighten the screen and I said if he had to serve someone else while I figured it out I didn't mind. When it came to the box that I hadn't taped the label on.... He gave me a lecture on how I need to read the instructions on how to close up the box and affix the label on it, I did say I didn't think it to be a huge issue that I didn't see the line that says tape it up he tells me to open the email so he can show me where to read to tape the box, well I took the box back and told him he has a huge problem just to give customer service instead of lecturing me about how to read and tape a box closed.
