Think twice before buying any postage stamps, MAJOR MARKUP for "convenience fee". A roll of 100 Forever stamps is $55 at the Post Office or online, but UPS Store charges $72.95!!! We love this place! We've been with them six years and going strong. We first found them when we needed an address box transitioning from an apartment to a house, but then realized how valuable the service was early on and stayed. It really cuts down on the junk mail. ALL of the employees really go out of their way to help and make things cost-effective. I like the fact they're open until 6:30pm during the week so I can swing by after work. I was referring to the cost of renting a mailbox, not of buying a cardboard box. The UPS Store on Chapman Avenue a couple of miles west rents a small box for $150 for six months. The store at 8502 charges $192 for six months. I rented one at the cheaper store. read more

I've had a box here for well over 12 years, and I really enjoy the safety and amenities it provides. The owners and staff are kind and helpful, always going out of their way and making everyone feel special. During the pandemic, they coordinated meals to take to hospital staff because they live in and care about the community. They have a nice selection of cards, funny magnets, and shipping supplies. Kindness helpers that work at THIS UPS ... I have a breathing condition and cannot wear a mask plus my doctor told me wearing the mask doesn't help prevent you from catching the virus etc... wearing a mask for a long period can cause damage to your lungs cause masks aren't meant to be worn all day...Especially in this heat. I respect that they understood and did not give be a hard time for not wearing a mask. Keeping your distance is what works from catching the virus etc... read more

I had been going to this store for the past 25 plus years since it originally opened as a Mail Boxes, Etc. ("MBE") Store when the shopping center originally opened with average service, but never really bad or conversely, really spectacular service either. Then along the way, United Parcel Service "UPS" bought the MBE chain and rebranded it as The UPS Store. When that change took effect, I quit shopping there almost completely because it no longer had the Ma 'n Pa feel of the old MBE Store. I would shop there only as a last resort because of whatever needs or requests that I had, they were almost always received with "NO CORPORATE WON'T ALLOW US TO DO THIS OR THAT ANY LONGER"!!! However, today (11/30/16) I was Xtremely rushed and didn't feel like driving across town to the FedEx Store to have an important gift packaged and shipped, so I braced myself for poor service from the "kids" and the high probability of poor and/or slow service. OMG, after not shopping there for at least the past 7 to 10 years, I was pleasantly greeted and explained my needs to two (2) very attentive women and they both immediately went to work and appropriately wrapped in a shipping box my fragile gift and prepared the shipping label correctly the first time with absolutely zero "0" hassles nor apologies. (I really dislike going to a business establishment and getting an attitude like I'm bothering them or the typical 5 to 10 "Sorry's or "Apologies" instead of just prompt, politite, expedient and hassle-free service. Is that too much to ask for nowadays???). I later found out that Snover recently purchased the store from George in April of this year and really seems to have top notch customer service as her highest priority. Well today Snover and her assistant Brittany exceeded my expectations by a huge margin! Thank you both again!!! I will certainly be back in the near future and would highly recommend other potential customers in the area to visit this store for exceptional customer service at reasonable prices!!! When I had to ship out a few packages a while back I had to go through UPS (they had already pre-printed the shipping labels). Not knowing where the nearest UPS drop-off point was, I did a quick search and found out that there was actually a UPS Store right in my back yard! No, not literally in my backyard (I only have a patio), but it is within walking distance. Apparently, this little shop used to be a Mailboxes, Etc but recently changed over to UPS. Either way, I needed those boxes packaged, shipped, and out of my hands. Turned out that this place had everything I needed for my transaction: boxes, labels, tape, bubble wrap, etc. The guy working there at the time even packaged up my precious cargo without asking. Good service at a time I needed it most. What can I really say about this place? It's there. It's been useful. I probably won't be back until I have another set of boxes to ship out. I didn't actually ship anything. But as I was waiting for the vet to do some blood work on my little puppy, I noticed that there was a UPS store next door. *light bulb going off in my head* I had picked up my mail the night before, and I knew I had an electricity payment coming up. It was in my car! Something told me that mailbox stores usually accept utility payments. Hey, I was there anyway, and it'd save me one less trip to the bank! After all, I hadn't even set up my online account yet. So, digging the envelope out of the car, I walked in. There was only one older Asian man working.. and he was nice as can be! Turns out, they don't accept utility payments, but he was kind enough to point out another store in the same plaza that DOES accept payments. What I thought was really cool was, he didn't seem grumpy at all! He smiled and even walked out of the store to point me in the right direction! Went in for passport photos. There was only one person ahead of me but it took a while for them to take the camera out figure out how to use it figure out how to print. I understand the guy was in training but somebody needed to help him out. The lady working the register seems to be the only one to know how anything worked, and she was very nice. read more

The best thing about this place for me is the location. Very close to home, very convenient. The prices are nothing to rave about, but at least you get what you pay for. I've sent several packages over the last couple of months, and I never heard any issues about them getting to where they're going on time. If you're like me, and are too lazy to take the extra step of packaging yourself, they can do it for you, for some premium. If you're doing this for business, this probably isn't a very cost efficient manner, but for packages every once in awhile, it's not bad. Pretty quick, pretty convenient. This is by far the best UPS store ever! I recently moved and I drive about 20 min out of my way to go here because the staff is on point and diligent. They're respectful of my time, friendly, and easy to work with. They are always so helpful and always looking to help save money when possible. Everyone that works at this store was extremely friendly and helpful! I wanted too ship out a package and it was going to be $35. Once they saw the price, they worked together with me to try to condense the package and ended up saving me $13. They also had a lot of regulars come in at that time as well and their friendly conversations made my experience really comforting and made it feel like a small community. When I am in town it serves as my extended office for printing documents. My Supervisor always feels welcome when picking up mail or retrieving documents and any document that I send to them to have printed are always done quickly and efficiently.
