This is the only FedEx office I have encountered that consistently results in frustrating issues. We frequently ship RMA labels for warranty replacement parts. Manufacturers often send us pre-labeled FedEx packages, into which we typically place the defective part for return. However, this specific location insists on requiring us to repackage the entire shipment each time sure to the packaging being "express" packaging, a practice that is not enforced at any other FedEx location, including the FedEx ShipCenter in Aurora/Naperville. I believe this issue stems from a lack of training or misguided corporate policies. While the staff may be following instructions, they seem unable to apply customer service principles. For example, Israel "like I said" recently informed me that placing the pre-labeled package in the self-service box would result in the package being returned to me, a completely illogical outcome coming from a logistics company. With no other resolution to the problem than "you have to repackage it and pay for another label". I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with a manager or corporate representative. I hope to gain a clear explanation for the inconsistent practices at this location and how they can be aligned with the standards of other FedEx offices.

2 minutes ago…read more Dropped off a FedEx package and got a dropoff receipt. The tracking on the FedEx website shows the package never got scanned, so there is no evidence it entered their possession. I stopped into The Postal Shoppe and asked if they could look for it. The guy was rude and unhelpful, simply insisting it was picked up and not their problem. I talked to FedEx as well, and even though they couldn't do anything for me, at least they weren't rude. Lesson learned: always drop off directly with the carrier. They scan it right then and there, and then the tracking shows they took possession. This package was for a Samsung trade-in, and I'm out $150. Never going there again.

We also had a large canvas he had painted (50" x 40" x 5") that they helped us pack and ship.
