Will not accept shipments using a UPS account. One would think the bar for a franchisee of a global brand would be to honor their services. Clerk stated that it was not all UPS stores that had this policy, just theirs has chosen to not accept shipments on UPS accounts. Also, "did not know" where the closest actual UPS shipping point was. I've had a box at this location for years and they're always helpful...they always say hi/bye, will let you into your box if you've forgotten your key, offer up an extra piece of tape to ship out that UPS or Fed Ex package (just no shipping USPS, gotta go around the corner to the post office for that), offer notary services, xerox, accept prepackaged returns with a quick QR code scan and a nod...and there are even gift cards and shipping materials at the ready for purchase when you're in a jam. Basically, it's a great team of guys here, ready to help out with a smile (especially appreciated during the crazy, high stress long line holiday times) and a convenient location for us Palisadians, even with street/metered parking only. Just be mindful of their closing times as well as the posted UPS/Fed Ex cutoff times, -- and you might wanna get there a few minutes early...no running in at 5:55 to grab or drop off a package (they close promptly at 6). As you can see, I'm a longtime fan -- in fact, just re-upped my PO box for '24! Nearly a decade in and I really can't complain. I have had a mailbox for the past five years at the UPS Store on Antioch Street in Pacific Palisades, and I can't say enough about how great their service is. Everyone that works there goes out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. It doesn't matter if I am paying to have something shipped or doing a free Amazon return. I always get the same great service, and it's always with a smile and a positive attitude. The store manager Ericc is especially helpful and makes sure I get everything I need, in a timely fashion. I looked up the cutoff time for air to send my Covid test and the website said 5pm. I dropped off my package at 4:45 and asked if it would make it out and the employee said yes, no problem. Fast forward to next day and my Covid test was still in the store because in reality the cut off time was 4pm and when I called to find out what the heck was going on they acknowledged that they have to update their website because the info is wrong. Additionally they should train their employees to inform their customers when they drop off air packages and/or put some signage up in the store. Big problem and no one really cares. read more

I had a package shipped in care of the UPS store to avoid the risk its theft from my porch. The owner, on his own, imposed a storage charge of $10 per day without notice. Until the package is delivered to me the owner is holding the package for UPS. He ultimately relented This is not the way to build a business or a reputation in the community. FedEx does not gouge it's customers this way. If you can, avoid UPS and by all means avoid the UPS Store in the Village. I'm very sorry that I cannot support this local business in light of its sharp practices. read more

Came to this UPS Store location for a notary today. The service was extremely prompt and Miguel, the notary, was very professional. The prices are reasonable too! There's not many options for a notary in the Palisades, but this has to be the best option of the few available. read more

The staff is friendly, but I had a bit of an absurd experience today. This store is a franchise and you can't use your UPS shippers account -- basically forcing you to pay higher "retail" rates for shipping. If you drop off packages with the label they will ship, no problem though. The UPS retail rates are high (almost 40% higher than negotiated account rates) and it's not always obvious to people. It's crazy to me that these stores won't honor a UPS shippers account. It was almost as bad as going to the post office. read more

My father passed away suddenly this week and I had to go to this UPS store in Pacific Palisades to notarize a document. I also had two witnesses with me who had to sign the notarized document as well. The notary working was Christopher Amene. He may have been one of the rudest people I've ever encountered in my life. During the entire notary process he treated me with both distain and disrespect. When I tried to ask or answer a question I was quickly interrupted and cut off by him. His customer service skills were below a one out of ten. When we got back to the car my friends actually apologized to me for his behavior. They too thought he was awful. I would recommend firing this guy. There are plenty of people out of work right now who would love to have a job. Evidentially this guy could care less. read more

I've been coming here since the Office Supplier on Sunset closed many years ago. Never had a problem shipping, receiving, box rental or notary. Employees have always been helpful even when out of country and forgot to pay box rental on time. Recently have been coming here to send pre-paid UPS since the hub in Westwood has ridiculous hours (8-10 and 3-5), never had a shipment not get out if there by 4 (when the UPS truck leaves), no mystery about cut off times and such. I don't know why people are so down on this place. Of all mundane tasks in life, the one I hate most is shipping. I am shifting my geographical center of gravity to New York (8 mos there, 4 months Palisades) and shipped 4 framed prints plus a coffee maker. I did nothing but sit on my a** in a knockoff Herman Miller while a friendly, competent, fast young man named Miguel took care of me. Both young men equally pleasant. It would save me 18 to wrap and pack it myself. Life's too short to pack your own crap. That's a 15 buck glass of wine with 20% tip. For two boxes the slowest way, plus 8 bucks insurance: 78. They scan and fax too. We sent my lease from here when scanner broke. So it is symbolic good vibe place for me. I don't know if that's a lot but it's the Palisades. They got rent to pay. I brought in a package to be sent overnight via UPS. It was an important post-op specimen being sent to a hospital in Denver. They offered to refrigerate the specimen until pickup. THEY FORGOT TO SEND IT! When I checked the tracking, I found that package had not been delivered. They should have called me immediately when the problem was discovered. Further, it took the clerk three tries to get the address correct on the label. In addition, they lied about the fact that Fed Ex, the carrier I wanted to use, picked up in the early morning. Instead, when I called, they said that Fed. Ex didn't pick up until the afternoon. But when I was in the store, they told another customer that Fed Ex had already picked up. When I asked them why I had not been told that, their response was "I don't know." DO NOT USE THIS STORE IF YOU WANT YOUR PACKAGES HANDLED PROFESSIONALLY. read more

So I moved to the area, and after 15 years in another location at a great UPS store I had to switch. I read the reviews and thought, well I didn't want to end up at the post office. WHAT A MISTAKE.... Missing mail, wrong mail, mail delayed & tampered with. They ended up having to refund my money after telling me that they rented a box to me (after changing all my banking, stationary, etc...) that was someone else's and they needed it back.. The strange thing is that I am giving this place 5 stars even though I am somewhat aware that all the other reviews are probably correct. Let me explain: My grandmother has had a mailbox there for years, and she knows who the real owner is (Mr. Bal) but over the past year her had a situation which forced him to turn the management and operation of the store to 2 people, with the manager claiming that he owns the store. He was a piece of art and undoubtedly responsible for the bad reviews written about this place. Last week, my grandmother was relieved to see Mr. Bal back there and she spelled her heart out. She was relieved to learn that those 2 workers are no longer working there,,,what a relief. I recommend that people give this place a second chance, the REAL OWNER, is an amazing guy and is surely going to turn this place around in no time. read more

Used their services many times. It's a busy place and a few times either had to wait a long time or didn't have printer documents ready for me even though they told me to come in and get them. In every case they thought their service was poor they did their best to make up for it. Overall the guys working there are hustling non stop. They do their best and most of the time things go great. These guys have always been super helpful for the basic stuff, shipping, notary services etc., but today George really went over and above to help me out. I came in with a large painting that I needed to send back to a friend on the east coast. It didn't fit in my car so I literally walked it all the way to the store only to find out that it was an odd size that they normally don't deal with at that store and it would need special packing. Instead of sending me and the painting back up the hill, George took the time to cut up boxes, bubble wrap and peanuts to create a custom box for me. He didn't have to do that, it wasn;t part of his job, but he did and I will be a customer for life! All the guys at this store are fantastic and very helpful! Way to go UPS Store!!! read more
